I’m in a pretty awkward situation. Too much shit has happened to just go back to acting like nothing changed, but there’s also been (for me) a lack of resolution on several issues which may or may not be related.
Here’s a very quick breakdown.
First, I was punished for leaking due to a mock draft article. This is something that was not in the rulebook, and had been done in the past (see [url= http://nsfl.jcink.net/index.php?showtopic=8831&hl=]this[/url] article for reference), and note how not one person mentions that this mock by a war room member after the pre-draft is a concern. By the way, anyone who copied this mock got full TPE that year. Despite the fact that my actions were legal according to both rulebook and established precedent, I got pretty harshly punished.
Then, after rightfully protesting the punishment, and having it lowered (though still infinitely more harsh than Willie got), my player ended up wrong in the sim, despite having been pointed out as wrong in the errors thread in preseason. This means that twice my player was incorrectly input, both times in a way that would be hard for me to discover.
But experience doesn’t matter, I can already hear half the league shouting, like they’ve done any testing. Well, this is the second year in a row that a QB started the season with low experience. Let’s see how they looked.
In S11, Joliet Christ played four games with the error, posting a TANY/A of 2.59. That’s pretty rough. After it was fixed, his remaining games were played at a 3.8. That’s a pretty big jump.
In S12, I played 6 games with low experience, posting a TANY/A of 4.95. The remaining 8 after it was fixed: 5.82. By the way, my schedule the first six games was significantly easier than for the last eight.
Those are very significant jumps, averaging over 1 yard per play, and to add to it, bear in mind that all I asked for by way of compensation was 1 extra point of experience for 6 games. If experience truly meant nothing, as so many claimed, why would that be too much to give?
