1) IT IS OUR TIME THIS (NEXT) YEAR The Colorado Yeti have been in a rebuild for the last little bit and while it appeared that they were on the upswing, some new rule changes set them back further than they liked. However, the young players are slowly becoming veteran players who can make significant impacts on the field. The growth of the youngsters is aided by the evolution of McCormick into a superstar quarterback and the continued dominance from his number target, Howard Miller. Miller and Bishop form a potent receiving duo but the management felt that another weapon was needed and they added a talented veteran, Verso L'Alto to the mix. Having a star tight end adds a whole new dimension to this offence that will have opposing defences on their heels all game. The defence is the weak spot of the Yeti as it is headlined by rookies who will be going into their sophomore seasons and that is a recipe for disaster. Again, management has wisely filled more holes by trading for Blackford Oakes and Brian Mills, two defensive stars who will lead this young team to a playoff berth. Combine that with under the radar acquisition, Axel Hornbacher, and you have a team that is poised for greatness next season! 2) SPOTLIGHT ON THE YOUTH Looking for an impact player who plays like they have 10 seasons under their belt? Well, look no further than the seasoned rookie, Charlie Trout. Trout has been turning heads all season with his smart plays and tenacity as he led the Hawks to top seed and eventually to a Ultimus berth. While the young man was unable to secure the victory for Baltimore he was awarded the consolation prize of defensive player of the game. It may seem like a minor prize to Trout, it is a herald for the stellar career that the New York product is about the embark upon. Charlie was touted as a dynamic playmaker from the beginning of his career but we usually expect players to go through an adjustment period but Trout stepped onto the field as a general for Baltimore and made plays all season. The most impressive might be the fact that he was able to lead the league in passes defended as he read quarterbacks eyes all year and made them regret most of their decisions. His impact was certainly felt in the Ultimus and next time Trout finds himself in a Championship game you can bet that he will find another gear and that scares the hell out of us. 3) PRE-GAME or...POST-GAME This one will go into the books as an instant classic, a tale of two juggernauts who engaged in serious trench warfare. The Baltimore Hawks and the Orange County Otters were both fated to find themselves in the Ultimus before a single snap was even played this season and the two dynamos did not disappoint. Both teams led their conferences and both teams led the league in many statistical categories and both teams put on one hell of a show for the fans around the globe. The top two offences clashed together and provided the kind of show you would expect, they traded touchdown after touchdown to the tune of a combined seventy-two points. Orange County jumped out to the first lead with 4 minutes left when rookie wideout, Sunnycursed snagged a pass from Showbiz at the three-yard line. The Otters appeared ready to walk into the second quarter with the lead when Gambino found his own rookie, Nagasawa, for a 26-yard strike. The Hawks managed to get an early TD in the second quarter and looked poised to run away with the game but two quick TDs put them on their heels, even the late field goal from 41 yards did not steady them. The Otters found another gear in the second half and scored 21 unanswered points as they won the Ultimus by doubling the score on the Hawks.

___ Interview with a Star @Mavfatha What will be the key to the Coyotes winning their first ever Ultimini? I think a big part of that will be achieving a nice balance between the run and pass. For most of the season we relied on our running backs to churn out yardage, really only focusing on the pass in very long distance situations. I hope to surprise the Marshals with more of a passing attack since they've been strong at stopping the run. What are your thoughts on how the conference championship game ended, with Kaine fumbling at the 1 yard line? While the game wouldn't have been immediately over even with a Pythons touchdown, clearly that was a huge play for us. True Pierce has a history of skipping practices but still coming through for the team with the game on the line, as he certainly did here. It was a well-played game by Portland for sure. What were some of the highlights of the regular season? I was really proud of our rookies for coming in and immediately making an impact on the field. Davenport dominated in his limited carries with 7 yards per carry, Alex Frost was a strong field goal kicker, J.N. Nova supplemented our strong receiving core, and Johnny Snuggles was a lock-down corner. Just seeing everyone do well and having a strong record was awesome. Finally, how did Riposte's rookie campaign go? While we ultimately came up short it was a fun season for Riposte and the Sabercats. Nobody expected much out of us but we finished with the second best record in the NSFL thanks to a strong, well-rounded team. Riposte himself had probably the best season statwise of any of the rookie DT's and made great strides by training as well ____ Spotlight on the Youth Charlie Trout had a very impactful season last year for the DSFL Portland Pythons. He contributed around 150 tackles and a couple sacks. The Pythons dominated their way to a Ultimini Title. This season, as Trout transitioned to the NSFL, I expected a step back from the rookie. He did not. He just decided to vary his contributions. Instead of 150 tackles, he had a respectable 86. Instead of leading the league in sacks with 8, he came in second with 11. Instead of a meager 4 passes defended, Trout lead the league (along with a few others) with 25. This season he managed to fall on 3 fumbles and even cause a safety. Trout plays for the Baltimore Hawks who are perennial contenders. This rookie linebacker will bring his all around contributions into the playoffs. Will he shine on the biggest stage? Or will he wilt. The Hawks really need him to be at his best. When you don't have to worry about how your rookie will perform, it makes things so much easier. So long as the Hawks keep competing, expect Trout to be a big part of what they do. Good luck to Charlie Trout in the NSFL S12 postseason. ___ It's Our Year... Next Year The Yeti went into this season with low expectations. A terrible defense, paired with an offense that probably wasn't going to be best in the league wasn't particularly a good recipe for winning games. With excellent game planning and standout performances by a couple early round draft picks, the Yeti finished a game out of the playoffs. Even if the Yeti were heading into the off season with the same team, I would probably expect a better performance from the young Abominable Snowmen. The rookies are only getting better. That should obviously lead to better results. But.... Let me tell you what happened over the weekend. When Logan Lejune went to look at the draft board to get an idea of who they would be picking, he saw that the Yeti lacked any picks in the early rounds. He went looking for management to find out why. He met a couple old dudes in the looker room. He wondered what they were doing there. They said they were World class football players planning to lead a Ultimus run. Lejune doesn't know who they are. . or if they are any good. He chooses to believe them. Next season... Is Yeti season

PBE PT 2) IT IS OUR TIME THIS (NEXT) YEAR - Can be completed anytime Next season is the season for the New Orleans Second Line. We have the best Quarterback and Wide Receiver combination in the league in Bork as well as Fydo. Both of these guys were fantastic this year, and with the addition of Aksel Danielsson, you can believe we will have a running game which was something that was not possible last year. Borro Gore is fantastic, but he had some work to do. Danielsson will be a fantastic impact and upgrade over him. We also have a lot of money to spend as well as the 2nd overall pick in which we can bring in a fantastic impact player to this squad. We also will have Tyler Swift coming in the second round of the draft who is one of the top TPE earners of this draft. You have to be excited to be a NOLA fan, there is no question about that. Now, there are a lot of people that will think they have what it takes to be the Champion, but there is only one NOLA therefore there is only one DOOT DOOT. For that reason, we will be the Champions of the world for the rest of next season and into the playoffs. Quote:Words: 206 3) PRE-GAME or...POST-GAME - Can be completed before or after based on choice. There was no way that the 5-9 Marshals could beat the 9-5 Luchadores, is there? There is no way that a group of young players could beat send downs. Well, look at what happened. The Marshals went into Tijuana and came out victorious by the score of 13-7. Wozy threw the ball 23 times, 5 receptions of those to Kindle for 36 yards. However, it was the ground game that was seriously the reason that the Marshals came out on top. The combination of the rookie Tyler Swift and the send-down Fast Boija, they combined for 244 yards on the ground with Boija having the lone touchdown in the game. Tyler Swift had 125 yards on 23 carries for a yardage of 5.4 per carry. Mexatas had 28 attempts for the Luchas while completing 17 of those. He threw one touchdown to Batoff, but overall, they were kept in check. McStrong, Murphy, and Harris all had a sack while Ramsay Jr. had the lone PD of the game. In a game where everyone counted the Marshals out, they will be heading to the Championship game. This game will come down to the running game, we will see if they can get going. Quote:Words: 202 4) ENEMIES HAPPEN - Can be completed anytime. I am sorry, but the team I would rather not win is the Orange County Otters. They are a great team, but they have @ADwyer87 on their team, so who would want that guy to win? He is barely a good player, so I am going to root against the Otters. I know that slm and I disagree a lot, but I will be rooting for them to win in this game. They have some good players like Rickey Ramero who is really out there to bring multiple players into the league. I mean, I do not want to get Vulgar or Enchant anyone, but I would say that they are nothing more than a Stamkos Fan. Honestly, a bunch of Nobodys. They are really going to be in the Danger Zone pretty soon when they get toasty. They may get a little hawk for their Spaghetti. They are getting jiggly while getting into the automatic role of being battleborn. Honestly, who would want to be that much of a timeconsumer. For that reason, I do not want to be a sapp, but I will say that I root against Orange County. How about this, let us go Baltimore Hawks. Quote:Words: 200

First Task: SHL PT
Second Task: It’s Our Time This (Next) Year: Well, it was definitely our time this year for the Orange County Otters. We just won the Ultimus Title over Baltimore in pretty convincing fashion! But, we have a lot of reason to believe we can repeat as champions too! Why? Well, I’ll start with myself first. Carlito Crush still has a boat load of TPE and I should be one hell of a #1 WR next season too. Gus T.T. Showbiz really came into his own this season, especially in the Ultimus where my dude TORCHED the Hawks for damn near 500 yards and 6 Touchdowns. It was disgusting. Ricky Adams in the best running back in the league and he’ll be back to terrorize opposing defenses yet again. Tegan Atwell may be retiring, but Sunnycursed showed how he’ll easily replace her with his Ultimus performance. And the what about the defense? Its another offseason of gains for studs like Mason Brown, that tackling machine. Marc Spector is only going to get better. Andre Bly Jr. isn’t going anywhere, and the No Bly Zone will still be in full effect in Orange County. The Otters look great on both sides of the ball, and they’re only going to keep improving for the most part. Look for them to be a top contender to win again. (222) Third Task: Spotlight on the Youth: The greatest young player in the league has already affected the Ultimus. In Season 11, Sunnycursed burst onto the scene as a young hot shot receiver. The Orange County Otters scooped him right up. This season, playing as the 3rd WR, Sunnycursed finished 12th in the league in yards with 858. He was saving his best for the playoffs though, as he went 6 catches for 55 yards in the playoff win against San Jose. In the Ultimus, Sunnycursed was even better. On the game’s first scoring drive, Sunnycursed got open in the end zone and scored on a 3 yard out to put the Otters up 7-0. Later in the half, with the Otters down 1 because of a missed extra point, Sunnycursed scored again on a 15 yard touchdown to put the Otters ahead to stay, 20-14. Sunnycursed would go on to finish with 6 catches for 99 yards and the two touchdowns. He had a fantastic Ultimus, and his play in the first half helped the Otters keep pace with the Hawks before they blew them out of the water. He’s only going harder and getting better, as is Showbiz. With Atwell retiring, Sunnycursed is poised to take the league by Storm this season, blessing us all with his talents. (217) Fourth Task: Going to Disneyland: The absolute obvious MVP of the Ultimus game between the Orange County Otters and the Baltimore Hawks was Otters Quarterback Gus T. T. Showbiz. In the Otters 48 – 24 pasting of the Hawks, Showbiz was damn near perfect. The quarterback completed 31 of his 54 passes for an astounding 459 yards. He threw for FIVE touchdowns, and technically, his lone interception was also a touchdown as he threw a pick six. In fact, he threw just as many touchdowns for Baltimore as their own QB! His 108.5 Rating was spectacular, as he took home MVP honors of the Ultimus. His trip to Disneyland was absolutely an awful experience for him. Being the Ultimus MVP is great, but it made him easily noticed by all of the people at the park, including the staff. Even with his fast pass and low wait times, he was constantly stopped every few minutes by tons of fans wanting to take their pictures with him. On top of it all, he’s a single dude with no kids just creeping around a theme park, which caused some people to give him dirty looks. All in all, while getting his room comped by the park and getting ride rides faster than the general public would is great, Showbiz realized that he longed for companionship in his life and, in turn, became depressed. (228)
1) IT IS OUR TIME THIS (NEXT) YEAR - - Honestly, I don't know where I will end up or annything about my future team, but I do know that I am good at winning. I managed Jaylon Lee long ago, and now his younger brother, Leighton Lee, will be coming to finish the work that Jaylon started. It has been a long road for Jaylon, but his brother is ready to take over the league. Any team that gets Leighton will be getting a player that will be a clog for running backs. He will be just like his brother, a dynamic run stopper as well as an exceptional blitzer. Will coverage be a priority? No, it won't, but it will be something that is worked on and that Leighton is capable of. What team wouldn't be believed in when they have the best defensive player that the minors has seen in a long time on their team? It would be stupid, idiotic, really, to believe that Leighton Lee's team will not be a contender for the title next year. He is a dynamic talent that prioritizes his development and winning over money. He has continuously taken smaller contracts to ensure that his team wins, so he will be surrounded by the best talent available.
2) SPOTLIGHT ON THE YOUTH -A young guy who will make an impact in the Ultimus? Easy, Marc Spector. Spector isn't new to the scene in terms of the league, he has been a manager before. This was easy for me to see Spector making an impact because he is always a dynamic manager that creates players with lockdown abilities. In Marc Spector, there is a cornerback that does not struggle with any particular coverage, but does not give up many yards. Yes, he is aided by the pass rush upfront, but that makes him even more impactful. When he is chasing receivers and playing coverage, he is a smart defender who knows where to be. Yes, Spector didn't put up great stats this season, but I am inclined to believe that quarterbacks did not throw his way that much. He is already a very developed player with a unique skill set, striking fear into quarterbacks when looking his way. I would compare him to Byron Jones of the NFL, a guy who plays solid all-around defense and does his job, but doesn't rack up flashy stats. I think you will see him have an impact on the game and be a difference maker for OCO, making it hard for the Hawks to move the ball. 3) QB Matchup- I'm excited to see these quarterbacks go to war, two of the best in the game. Showbiz is tied for the most TD tosses in the league and is just an absolute dime dropper. The guy doesn't have a great completion percentage, but he gets the ball out and makes plays for his team. When he tosses the ball, they go towards the end zone and that is just a fact. I'm excited to see him face the talented Hawks defense and show them what it really means to be in OCO Showbiz, not in the fufu Baltimore showbiz. On the other side, there is definitely another talented quarterback. Gambino has the highest completion percentage and QB rating, he is an absolute animal in the pocket and he throws beautiful balls. He has helped carry Baltimore to the champioinship and I think he will show up on the big stage, but I think that he doesn't have the help he needs. Ultimately I expect Orange County's talented defense to be able to slow him down and force the Hawks to run the ball into their talented front seven. I think he faces a harder challenge than Showbiz, and that will show when he comes on to the field. 4) Enemies- Let me be 100 percent honest, I have absolutely no idea what is happening in these playoffs and I don't want there to be an illusion that I do in this part. I don't know much about rivalries, but I do know about one that existed when the Outlaws defeated the Orange County Otters. Jaylon Lee and Ian Bavitz. In season one, there was a large debate over who should be the final linebacker voted into the Pro Bowl. Unfortunately for Jaylon Lee, Ian Bavitz was voted in over him and was deemed more worthy to play in the game. While this may not seem like a big deal, the two ended up butting heads over it for awhile. Fast forward to the championship game, the two were still not friends. For Jaylon Lee, the game was a time to prove his dominance and how much better he was at opposing a star studded offense. So, Lee did what he promised and showed out. He ultimately ended up having a pick six in the game to seal the game for the Arizona Outlaws. The two rivals allegedly fought outside the stadium after, with both stars coming out banged up. This is what rivalries look like, and I hope one exists in the current Ultimus.

Quote:Written: Write 200 words on one of the QB matchups in this year's playoffs. What are you most excited to see (Or excited to have seen), who will play better (Or who played better), etc. Childish Gambino versus Gus T.T. Showbiz had to be the QB matchup I was most excited to see these playoffs. Both these quarterbacks played an amazing season, with Gambino posting the best completion rate at 62.1% and the best QB rating 90.6. While Showbiz came tied first for most touchdowns in the league with 28. At the end of the game between the Hawks and the Otter it was Showbiz who ended up giving the fans something to cheer for. Showbiz would end up throwing 54 times completing 31 of his passes for a total of 459 yards, 14.8 yards average. He threw 5 touchdowns, but did throw an interception. He ended the game with a 108.5 rating. Gambino threw 24 completions on 39 attempts, which did make him end the game with the better completion rate. Yet he only threw for 225 yards, an average of 9.4 per throw. He threw 1 touchdown and ended the game with a rating of 86. In the end it was Showbiz with the fancy looking stats and it shows that his team was a more offensive powerhouse that game. The one interception looks ugly, but it did not hurt his teams play for sure. Quote:Going to Disneyland!:Who was the Ultimus MVP? Give us a rundown of their celebratory trip to Disneyland. How do you feel about this first NSFL season as a whole? 4. Did the coach slap ur ass after that 59 yard run? ADwyer's A's: 1. It feels good, but really its not a surprise. I get drafted and win in the Ultimini, now i get called up and win in the Ultimus. Since i've been drafted i'm two for two. Its always a big deal to win but really im not surprised, I know my talent level 2. I'm not gonna lie, I was absolutely coked the fuck out during that whole game, so I didnt know that I scored any touchdowns until you just told me 3. It was ok. I started out on fire, was the best receiver on the team through the halfway mark. But after that I kind of trailed off. Now Atwell and Crush are getting another year older though. I'll have to make sure Showbiz knows to throw to me more often now. 4. Coach slaps everyone on the ass, even if they mess up. He's like the Jason Garrett of ass slapping
1) IT IS OUR TIME THIS (NEXT) YEAR - Can be completed anytime
To think the Liberty could be considered for the Ultimus next season or even the one after is a bit far-fetched but for the sake of this PT, I'll try to convince people that it could be possible soon... and probably not succeed in doing so because even I don't believe it's possible. But hey with sim leagues, anything can happen and we came close to beating the Hawks this season so I guess you never know. The thing holding us back as a team is probably our passing game. We have one of, if not the best running back in the League in Marquise Brown and our defense has won us games a couple of times. If my general managers could get me one or ideally two good receivers, I think we would look a lot better. For now I have von Matt and Bush as my receivers but it would help tremendously to have other targets to throw the ball to. We rely too much on our running game and it works well for the most part but I think including more passing in our strategy could make us move from "oh damn those Philly folks certainly scared us" to "oh damn those Philly folks ruined my predictions because they were too good". 2) SPOTLIGHT ON THE YOUTH - Can be completed anytime Let's talk about a player on the Champs' roster, the Orange County Otters. I would like to mention Sunnycursed as a player who had a big impact on the Ultimus Bowl game. His performance in the ASFC finals was a bit underwhelming, totalizing gains of only 55 yards but it is to be expected with a receiver such as Crush on your team. He still did great on his receptions, almost averaging 10 yards per catch. But as a rookie, he really shined in the Ultimus Bowl game. He nearly doubled his gains in yards and most importantly, made important catches when his team needed it most. Indeed, he scored the first touchdown of the match for the Otters and then had another very important one in the second quarter to give the lead back to his team. The Otters would never lose the lead again after that. Again, players like Crush or Atwell had more gain in yards during the game but for a rookie on his first Ultimus Bowl game, I think Sunnycursed did extremely well and gave a great performance after a disappointing one in the ASFC finals. The future looks good for the Otters, even if they will be losing an important piece with Atwell retiring. 3) PRE-GAME or...POST-GAME - Can be completed before or after based on choice. When the New Orleans Second Line failed to qualify for the playoffs, it was confirmed that the League would crown a new champion. The playoffs had a logical conclusion, since the leaders of both conferences, the Baltimore Hawks and the Orange County Otters reached the finals. The Philadelphia Liberty gave the Hawks quite a scare but ultimately failed to win the game in overtime. In the ASFC, the Otters didn't get much resistance from the San Jose Sabercats. The game started well for the Hawks and they were leading the Otters 14-7 early in the second quarter. Even by halftime, the game was still within reach with Orange County leading by only 3 points. Everything went to hell in the third quarter when the Otter machine started working for real and they scored three touchdowns in around 10 minutes. They added one more in the fourth and there wasn't much the Hawks could do to come back in the game. It's not like the Hawks played an awful game but Showbiz showed up when it counted, with his 5 passing touchdowns. Blackford Oakes made it more exciting for the Hawks fans late in the game by scoring a touchdown on a 44 yard interception but it was too little too late. 4) QUARTERBACK MATCHUP - Can be completed anytime Both conference finals seemed to have interesting QB matchups, a mix of youth and experience as the Philadelphia Liberty took on the Baltimore Hawks and the San Jose Sabercats finally found their way back to the post season by playing the Orange County Otters. The Sabercats had an impressive season and split their matches with the Otters at one victory and one loss. One could believe that this meant it would be an interesting matchup and that the ASFC finals would be a close game. Unfortunately, the Cats were simply no match for the Otters and Gus T. T. Showbiz showed Joliet L. Christ that he was the best in the game, eventually capturing the Ultimus Cup against the Baltimore Hawks in another disappointing game where the Hawks didn't really stand a chance. In the ASFC finals, Showbiz threw three TD passes to three different receivers and added insult to injury by helping Ricky Adams score his second touchdown of the night with only 14 seconds left to the game. On the other side of the field, Christ couldn't score any passing touchdowns and the Cats' only TD came early in the game, with a 6 yard run by Jerrod Canton. It's not all bad for the Sabercats though, since they were able to qualify quite comfortably for the postseason for just the second time in their history and with Christ as their quarterback and receivers such as Xavier Flash, the future is very bright for this young team.
