The hot Pacific Owls continued on their winning streak by defeating the Midwest Wolfpack. The game started out with the Midwest Wolfpack working their way past midfield where their drive stalled out. Punter Blackwell pinned the Owls on the 1 yard line. The Wolfpack defense stood strong forcing a three and and out. The Wolfpack was then able to drive down the field after having good field position. Quarterback John Tebow was able to find Half back Farley Hank for a 4 yard score putting the Wolfpack up 7 to 0. That would be the last time the Wolfpack would have their teeth in the Owls. The very next play Ryan Leaf Jr kept the ball himself and ran 87 yards down the field for a career long rushing touchdown. At the start of the second quarter Tony "the big salami" Gabagool punched the ball out of running back Ronald St. James III allowing Memphis Wilkerson to fall on top of the ball. This set up Ryan Leaf Jr to drive down the field throwing a Lazer of a touchdown to Tightend Cameron Olsen putting the Owls up 14-7. The next series the Legion of Hoot dug their claws into the offense forcing a three and out. The next series Leaf Jr and "Big boy" Been Bortboy drove down the field 72 yards capped off with Bortboy's first Career Touchdown. After the game Bortboy had this to say, "slow and steady, that's my game. 100 yards and a TD today, with much more comin down the road. stay tuned!" With the Owls now up 21-7 the Wolfpack we're looking to try and make a comeback and get some points on the board before halftime. That is when Jay Longshaw tried to connect with Charles Mudley only to be intercepted and taken to the house by the ball hawking corner Andrew Solomon. Owls leading the Wolfpack 28-7 at halftime, the Legion of Hoot took the game over not allowing the Wolfpack to cross midfield except one time only for linebacker Gabagool to make an impressive play on the able intercepting it. Owls now on a 3 game winning streak look to repeat the same.perfomance next week as the play the Wolfpack again in the semi finals of the prospect bowl playoffs. At the post game press conference Mo Berry, the vocal leader of the Legion of Hoot, answered questions and stated his thoughts on the prospect bowl and the upcoming DSFL draft. "Honestly I love my teammates, without them I wouldn't be able to do what I do and I know they feel the same way. We're a brotherhood, a 'Parliament'. If it was up to me I'd draft this whole squad and we'd be bringing the same amount of energy we bring every week. I think as a whole we had three sacks again as a team. We lead the league in sacks as a unit. We all make plays in the backfield and in the secondary. Some will criticise us by saying we give up too many yards. I'll say this to them is but we cause turnovers when it matter most and score touchdowns and we got the win. Also this win streak ain't over yet prospect bowl we winning it all. Thank you." Berry, the Legion of Hoot, and the Owls new high octane offense look to repeat their performance next week as they take on the Wolfpack again.
