The D and T Connection

Arizona Outlaws are off to a good start record wise but just squeaking but a few of those win. One of those reasons is the defense has been stout. Dental Dam Recorded his first sack of the season against C.Orozo with the Yellowknife Wraiths. When Fellow defensive end Jayce Tuck seen Dental damn get his first sack he asked him “How did that feel!” Dam responded “He felt soft and cuddly, I maybe I’ll take him home.” Dam has been Struggled these past 4 games in his eyes only recording 7 Tackles 1 Tackle for Loss and 1 sack. Tuck on the other hand is has 13 tackles 5 for loss and 4 sacks.
Dental Dam has asked tuck to do some extra Workouts this weekend to maybe shake off some of the rust he is having these first 4 games. Dam has decided to put down the PBR and pick up a weight instead. When asked Dam about Tuck he said “He’s and animal in the gym. He’s Football 24/7. You can see it in his eyes; I want to be like that so I hope some rubs off on me this weekend.” When you have a Leader role like Tuck in the D Line He makes everyone around him better. I see these two becoming Good Teammates and if this works out this can be the start of the D and T Connection. Dam has a high ceiling of talent. But can he put the beer down and really start working out.

What’s going on with Draxel?
There have been a lot of rumors with V.Draxel expressing his feelings and maybe causing problems in the locker room. Well I looked into it and this is what I found. The guy is a Pure leader! And he shows it on the field. Let’s look at his stats through 4 games. Game 1 Draxel was 8/22, 129 yards, 2 TD 1 INT with a 68.2 QB rating. Ok week one was Decent but could be better. This is where you see the work ethic of Draxel. Week 2 he went 18/34, 200 yards, 1 TD 0 INT and a QB rating of 80.5. Week 3 he went 20/37, 260 yards 2 TD’s 0 INT with a QB rating of 94.5. Week 4 he was 18/34, 213 yards, 1TD with 82.1 QB rating. This guy has only thrown ONE Interception. He has shown to be calm and smart in the pocket. Making intelligent reads and is killing it right now on the field.

Draxel is 2nd in yards thrown with 802, tied for 1st in TD’s with 6 2nd in passer rating with a 82.9 and only has 1 INT. why would he leave. This guy is on his way to the Pro Bowl the way he is playing. I asked Dental Dam what it’s like trying to tackle Draxel at practice and he said “the guy is quick. He’s Smart. But best of all he’s Tuff. The guy gets hit, sacked, and knocked down but gets up and throws a TD in your face.” To me it looks like Arizona has knocked it out of the park with this pick. We know the GM’s are actively trying to find him some protection and with that this kid is going to be dangerous.

So let’s put this Arizona “Dumpster Fire” of a team to rest. This is a team with extremely good work ethic. They are going fight tooth and nail to be the top team in the league. I expect this OL to get better and better as the GM’s do their best to add talent the coaches tweak there schemes to fit each match up. Be on the lookout for Dental Dam coming into week 5. Let’s see if his workouts with Jayce Tuck help him elevate his talent to another level.
