The Baltimore Hawks mascot is a white hawk that wears a black jersey with his name on it, Hawky. He was created in a fan vote of all season ticket holders who made a deposit to reserve their seats. Other options included Super Hawk, Chicken Hawk, and Pawny (a play on the word hawk).
Hawky does selfies before each games, and does his best to keep with the spirit of the best mascot in professional sports, Jaxson De Ville. He's very playful and likes to do stunts, take selfies with fans, and mock the away teams' players.
Currently Hawky is in a mascot strike as he wants to make more than the token amount the front office is paying him. He's expected to come to an agreement with the team by week 6 at the latest, though fans are hoping for a return for week 5.
