[div align=\\\"center\\\"]NSFL Draftees I Would Like to Play With
I am writing this media piece to let the world know which players I would like to be on the Outlaws. Even though I have no idea what will happen in the draft, I have spent the last two seasons in the DSFL so I have seen a lot of these players and gotten to know them. Obviously there are not a lot of active players in Arizona right now, so I need some fresh blood with @soryantyler to keep partying in our locker room. There may or may not be a Portland Python bias in here, but lets get started and see who I want on my team.
Brock Landers (@gucci)
I have just recently met Brock Landers, but he seems to be a very nice guy. Landers had a pretty good season, amassing 727 yards. Unfortunately, he only had one touchdown. That probably had more to do with the loser of a quarterback he was playing with though. Landers has close to, if not the, most TPE in this draft and that makes me want to play with him because I know that he will be an active and reliable teammate. I think that as a player, Landers would help bring a reliable receiving threat to Arizona who is ready to immediately step into a playing role. He might not have the best statistics, but he was a player that showed up every week for a team that struggled and continued to get better. I think that as a person he would fit in well because he seems to be pretty laid back and appears to be around the same age as some of our team, which would help him find a place in the locker room. As a team,I think we would love to have him due to his personality and insane TPE earning, which is approaching my TPE. Except I got drafted a year earlier. Hopefully Brock Landers can end up finding his way to the Arizona Outlaws.
Nero Alexander (@shadyshoelace)
I don't know too much about Nero Alexander, I have only seen him talk a few times in discord and that is definitely where I am the most active. He seems to be a pretty nice, level-headed guy who just likes to update and earn lots of TPE. His build for the DSFL already appears to be maxed out and he is a guy who genuinely enjoys being a defensive lineman, which is not super common in this league. If I'm not mistaken, he has a reputation for being super active every week, so I think that he is a good player to have on any team. I definitely think he could form a great defense with myself, Stokeley, and karl. Alexander had a pretty solid season in the DSFL. He had 12 tackles for loss, 8 sacks, and a safety. He showed how dominant and electric he can be rushing the ball, which would be big for our team. With the three of us LBs behind him, it would be awesome to have a huge disruptor in front of us. It would make our job a lot easier, as all we would have to do would be to clog holes. Nero would be fun from both the player side as well as the person side, and I think that he would be a good way to get Arizona back to the defenses it had when it was dominating the NSFL in the beginning. They already have their Lee and Ernston, now they need a Tuck to play big up front. I think Alexander could be that for the squad.
Chase Jensen (@dizzyDC)
I just recently met Chase in Discord, but I quite enjoyed talking to him. He seemed very nice and like he would be a positive influence regardless of what locker room he goes to. Jensen is a TE that just makes plays for his team. He was on the Solar Bears and was without a doubt the quickest TPE earning TE in the DSFL. He had 817 yards receiving and a touchdown last season as a tight end, which is a rather high number for the position. I think that he will end up blossoming into a very elite tight end because he appears to be very dedicated to the league. I don't know if the Outlaws already have a tight end that is an effective player, but it doesn't really matter to me. I think that Jensen would be a good pick, but I don't know if we will take a tight end at number one overall. If we were able to give him to Andrew Reese, that would be a weapon that could be utilized for a long time to come. I don't necessarily not want him at the number one overall pick, so if we did decide to choose him I would be super excited with the direction of the team. He would be an awesome addition to our youthful core.
Xerxes Ridley (@plantane)
Not many people have had the opportunity to talk to Ridley, but I have been fortunate enough to be able to speak with him and even got to spend the season with him. Ridley was always super encouraging and kind in the locker room, which are qualities that I really like in a teammate, especially since I am a massive idiot. Ridley also plays cornerback, which is definitely a position that my team could use help at. As a linebacker, I would feel very safe just doing my job and knowing that Ridley would be behind me taking care of his business. Ridley was obviously on the DSFL champion Portland Pythons with me. He had 50 tackles playing for us and 11 pass deflections with an interception. Even though he isn't exactly a ballhawk right now, he is definitely a good coverage corner, shown by his elite ability to force incompletions and get in the way of the ball. I think Ridley again is not only a good teammate, but he is also a player that plays a winning brand of football. When I had him on my team with Emoji and RDA5, I knew that our secondary was all sound defenders, like the DSFL version of the legion of boom. Even though he isn't super talkative or loud, I think Ridley will turn into an elite level player and I already know that he is an elite level teammate. Ridley would be the ultimate player for us to land and continue our youth movement.
Richard D'Attoria V (@124715)
I only briefly remember 124715 from my previous stint in the league and I don't remember if we got along or not. What I do know is that, since I've joined the Pythons, we have been friends and we have been two of the more talkative players in the locker room. RDAV is a very nice guy who just wants to do his job and win which is something that I really respect and want in a teammate. He didn't care too much about stats or his personal accolades, but he just wanted to win and bring that trophy home to Portland. As a player, RDA5 was an elite level safety and is an absolute beast. He had 64 tackles, two forced fumbles, three recovered fumbles, seven sacks, and an interception. Even though it appears he played more in the box this season, he is still a very rangy safety that has the ability to make plays on the ball. He was elite at getting after the quarterback and he is an experienced player from the league. I think that he will undoubtedly blossom into one of the best players in this draft which is something I would really like on my team. He played well behind me and since we need defensive backs, he would be an immediate player for the squad and rejoin some of our Python bros. I don't know if we will pick him number one overall, but I know that he will no doubt become an elite level player and a potential Hall of Famer. Oh, and a great teammate as well.
Franklin Armstrong @moonlight
I know, I know, we don't need a QB because Andrew Reese just became one. That doesn't take away from the fact that I really want to be able to play with him. Franklin was an absolute doll in the Portland organization, he quickly became a leader in the locker room and one of my friends on the team. When things got testy he would give advice and just lead us through it, just like you would expect a great quarterback to do. I didn't know who he was coming in, but apparently he is a PBE legend, so I would love to keep a legend around me (another legend). Armstrong had one of the best seasons by a quarterback in DSFL history, amassing 2614 yards and 22 touchdowns through the air, good enough for a Pythons team record. I think that Armstrong cares about the league so he will continue to be a great player for the league and any team would be lucky to have him as their quarterback. I wish I thought that we would have the chance to get him, but I don't think that its realistic we use our first overall pick on him. I am hopeful he will be able to go to an expansion team so he can have the opportunity to immediately become a player in the NSFL.
Quenton Bode @terriblehippo
Yes, we already have three linebackers. Ultimately, linebackers are a lot more populated than defensive linemen though, so it makes sense that we could end up shifting towards a 3-4. This would allow us to take a guy like Bode, who is one of the highest TPE earners in the draft and create an even more formidable linebacker group. Bode would slide in very well next to myself, Stokeley, and karl. For the season, Bode also played very well and many people thought he would be DPoY half way through the year. He had 115 tackles, three tackles for loss, 1 fumble forced and recovered, six sacks, 2 interceptions, 6 passes defended and a touchdown. He was an elite level defender all season and that is something that we would love to have on our squad. I have seen him in chat and he also seems to be a very nice guy so I don't see any reason why the Outlaws wouldn't consider him with the number one overall pick. I have no idea if he has a reputation preceding him or if he is an elite player or what, but I fully expect the squad to consider him and one day I hope to be able to play with him. [/div]
