Hello everyone, my name is Jake Utler and I am an alcoholic. Wait, what? This is not an AA meeting? Shit. This is a football simulation league? I thought I sent my agent to go take care of this football press mumbo jumbo. Oh...I think he is at the AA meeting. Ok, well this probably is not the best start to an introduction in the NSFL but it is the one that I have so I will try to make the best of it. My name is Jake Utler and I am a new RB prospect in the league. I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois where I started to play football at a young age. I was not very good at first but I kept learning and improving my game. I learned how important my speed could be and that the team is always more important than myself. In high school, I broke my school’s record for rushing yards and rushing touchdowns in a season. That was my freshman year. I ended up breaking my own record two more times in high school and lead my team to the state championship game. Unfortunately, we did not win that game but we were proud of how far we were able to come. I ended up getting recruited by the University of Michigan and I was a starter at the RB position by my second year there. In my first year of being the backup RB and kick returner, I learned a lot about the game. I was on a whole new level of competition and I had to prepare myself. Once I was able to get consistent touches I was able to show the world what I was truly made of. On the season, I led my team to a spot in the playoffs where we lost by a field goal. I knew that I was good so me and my agent agreed to leave college ball and declare for the NSFL. And now I am here, waiting to see where I go in S18. I hope to prove to all of you just how good I know that I can be.
