The Colorado Yeti trade their first pick in the Season 2 draft to the San Jose Sabercats for OL Tim Tebow and OL Daniel Robicheaux. The Sabercats decide to sell before the trade deadline for future assets as their Season 1 playoff odds are a longshot. Tebow and Robicheaux have not updated in the past two weeks, so if they remain inactive they will be of little use to the Sabercats going forward. They are both rated 69 overall, which would make them tied for the Yeti’s second best OL players. The Yeti are currently one of the league’s top teams and are looking to make a push for a championship this year. Offensive line is probably the Yeti’s weakest position group, as they only have 2 of their 5 spots filled by user players. Adding two more quality starers on the offensive line would make the Yeti favorites for this season’s championship. The Sabercats can offload two players who will likely not be of much use this time next year in exchange for a top prospect who will help them rebuild in the future. The Yeti pick up two players who will probably not be of much use after this season but will help them push for a championship now. Also, if one of the players becomes active again, the Yeti gain another user offensive lineman for the future. The Sabercats appear to be headed toward rebuilding while the Yeti are looking toward a championship, but both could benefit from this trade.
A trade that has been circling for weeks now would take place between the Baltimore Hawks and the San Jose Sabercats. It would be as follows
S2 #1 Pick S2 #2 Pick S3 #1 Pick Ben Longshaw Daniel Robincheaux This trade would help strengthen the offensive linemen for the Baltimore Hawks and make them a team to be reckoned with. Baltimore’s biggest problem they have been having lately is being able to keep Scrub Kyubee up long enough to make the plays that are needed. This would insure that the offense would start working at an even higher potency. This trade would also help the San Jose Sabercats. The Sabercats are looking to add more youth to the team, and this would help them out by adding three more draft picks. The Team isn’t where it wants to be right now, so adding more, young talent that has the potential to do something great will help the Sabercats a lot. Season 2 has a lot of up and coming players and the Sabercats can benefit greatly by adding more picks to their pool. This trade is just in the rumor mill right now, but just keep an eye out to see if the Hawks bite and make a move to sure up the line. 1
THE ORANGE COUNTY OTTERS RECEIVETH:
- ONE BAG OF POTATO CHIPS THE EXPANSION DRAFT RECEIVETH: - JOSHUA AARON BERCOVICI IN THE MOTHER OF ALL BLOCKBUSTERS, The Orange County Otters have traded away franchise altering talent and enigmatic personality Josh Bercovici to the Expansion Draft for the incredible price of (1) bag of lays potato chips. This deal will surely go down as one of the biggest in league history. "It was a tough call to make, but the end of the day the fellas gotta eat, so we felt like landing a bag of lays would be the best option for the team- I know Josh will do well for the Expansion Draft, even if they are a little hungry." said Otters GM @Shaka. Josh Bercovici was equally as surprised. "I couldn't believe it, I mean a bag of lays? Hell even I wouldn't turn that offer, I'm not sure if Expansion Draft got the better end of that deal. But what can you do? Otters were clearly hangry and needed some lays. I'll do my best to make Expansions Draft forget about the chips." It's a truly landmark deal, never before has something like this happened, and we may never see it again....or will we? "It definitely changes the landscape of trades, it puts some new options on the table for teams that maybe need a little extra something- I think you'll see a lot more deals like this in the future." said an anonymous GM. We aren't sure what exactly Expansion Draft was thinking, losing a bag of lays is a huge blow and it's clear the team wasn't pleased based on their twitter reactions. For Orange County, it's a damn steal.

Stealing Angus Winchester
Angus Winchester being the top Offensive line man in the league is drawing a lot of attention. This might be a player for the Sabercats to sell the farm and build around. Rumors in it would take a guy like Jameis Christ QB and 3 future first round picks to land Winchester. This would give the Otters a new QB other than Mike boss tossing interception. Give the Sabercats another top offensive lineman with Winchester and longshaw together. I can only imagine the pancake Longshaw and Winchester would make together. Otters then can maybe swing a decent offensive lineman from another team and be in a position to compete for the next 3-4 years. With the trade deadline approaching a lot of trade have been swirling around but nothing has stuck yet. We have had the rumor of Wraith shipping Garden to Colorado because of strict smoking laws. We have heard Baltimore picking up some more offensive weapons but only going for the trade rape because they can’t afford to lose much coming back into the playoff hunt. Arizona not doing much with a solid team but always looking to improve where they can. We will have to keep our eyes open to see what happens before the trade deadline. @[213 words]

The Arizona Outlaws are defintely in the hunt for the Ultimus cup this season and are currently in 1st place. They have a strong roster of skilled players on both side of the ball, but could use some help on the offensive line. A strong offensive line is where everything comes from, more rushing yards, more time of posession, more time for the quarterback to complete passes, plus it keeps the other offense off the field. Strength on the line is key to a championship, so that is what the Outlaws would be looking for at the trade deadline. The targets would be Bender Rodriguez on Colorado and Vincent Sharpei on Baltimore. We'd deal 1st round picks for both as we don't really need any new draft picks because our roster is pretty loaded with talent. We'd likely draft offensive lineman anyway so why not go out and get these two studs now and win the championship. Rodriguez is the premier lineman in the league and Sharpei is one of the top guys also. Both are good at run and pass blocking and would put the Outlaws over the top for the Ultimus cup in season one. Even if they don't make this trade, we still like their chances for the championship.

All-Time Leader Rushing TD's & Yards - NSFL [div align=center][/div] [/div]
Trade:
Lindarius Shelton Second Round Pick for Mike Boss Third Round Pick The Yellowknife Wraiths are still in talks to win it all, but to do that, they'll need a bigger star at QB. Mike Boss struggled in the prime time game, and could benefit from a fresh start, possibly up north in Yellowknife. In return, the Otters would receive a stud linebacker in Shelton. I could see Bercovici being the real Otter QB being traded, but it's not exciting if everyone says the same thing. Another trade that might benefit these two teams is: Dirk Cutter Third Round Pick for Leroy Jenkins Second Round Pick The Wraiths could also benefit from an upgrade at the RB position, which might give them that boost to a top 3 team. Again, I think the Otters are already a defensive threat, and adding more to that just makes life all the easier. I think their offensive problems are something that won't be solved via trade and thus should focus on bolstering that Defense. Their secondary is not as formidable as their front seven, and by adding Dirk Cutter to cover the air, they could truly be a Defense for the record books. (06-27-2017, 06:52 PM)Anti-Hype Wrote:The Yellowknife Wraiths are a lot closer to missing the play offs than most people initially thought. Though many of their losses (Sans the OC shut out) have come from small margins. This shows that they are possibly only a few small pieces away from being top contenders in the NSFL. Thus rumors have to arise which indicate they may be looking to make a quick move before the deadline. With the amount of depth on their defensive line it wouldn't be crazy for them to make a move there. But you never know what could happen to the line with such a sudden change. Though their waiver wire pick up Ben Greene showed that he has what it takes to fill a spot. Bringing in his first sack of the season in his first game through brief appearances. I think its possible they offload Jason Spearhead. I think Ramrio may be able to take his spot at DE and Greene could fill in at DT along side Bender. He has great run stopping ability that I think would compliment the strong pass rush they already have. Once he goes to the draft they could look to pick him back up or grab one of the many talented Dlinemen coming next season. I would recommend getting somebody in their secondary to replace Sanchez who has not been showing much improvement this far in his NSFL career. That fuckin hurt my eyes reading that font. With the SaberCats struggling, and in an effort to get perhaps a little younger and more active, make a 3 team deal to accomplish that. Dealing with the Wraiths and Yeti, the SaberCats pick up a promising defensive option and some picks for a couple of solid but disappointing players.
Receive: LB - Reginald Hampshireton S2 1st round pick S2 1st round pick Receive WR - Alexandre LeClair S2 3rd round pick Receive WR - Shane Weston LB - Alexander Selich The Wraiths upgrade their receiving core and linebacker group, swapping 112 TPE LeClair for 130 TPE Weston, and swap 96 TPE Hampshireton for 110 TPE Selich. They add upgrades to push towards a playoff spot and a potential championship. Doing so the give up their S2 1st round pick, and S3 3rd round pick in addition to losing the 2 players. The Yeti add a 2nd/3rd receiving option who can compete with DJ Law for that 2nd spot, and without a good TE option, they have a 3rd option who can slide there in receiving TE sets. As they try and build up for a playoff run and break out of a 3 game slide, they finally get themselves a strong 3rd receiving option to help create some mismatches for opposing defenses. As stated earlier, the SaberCats build for the future, picking up a young LB and 3 picks, who they hope can fill better roles than 2nd string receiver and an inactive linebacker. With some holes to fill on the roster, adding those picks they can only hope that they prove to be impactful. Selich, Shelton and Sinjin don't even sound fair for the rest of the league. Lol |
