A fairly typical, if large power back. He is quick for his size, but will need to rely on his brute strength in order to make an impact. As a blocker, his are somewhat lackluster, but his time at the university of Florida has shown him to be slightly better at blocking on passing downs. But don't expect him to be a receiving double threat, as he can't catch a cold in a blizzard, let alone a football in the heat of a game. His college stats were acceptable, but not amazing. a 700 yd, 5 TD rookie season isn't impressive, but Kevin has improved a lot over the last 2 years of play. A very respectable 1300 yds and 14 TDs in his final season at UF leaves him as a potential plug and play RB for a needy team.
Biggest Strengths: Kevin is huge, he's damn strong and has fantastic stamina. The endurance of this young running back is fantastic, and with the right team, young Kevin could do very well in the DSFL. When rushing the A gap, Kevin has 3.6 yards after contact. He's pushing through men bigger than him, and making plays. Kevin has no serious injury concerns, as the only start he ever missed was the birth of his daughter early his second season.
Biggest weaknesses: Kevin isn't particularly quick, and he doesn't change direction quickly. His biggest weakness is obviously his lack of pass catching ability, but no one in their right mind is considering drafting this young man as a pass catching back. Kevin also had 4 fumbles in his final year, so ball security is something that needs to be considered before any real draft consideration is given.
Overall, I would not recommend drafting Kevin Fakon before the 4th round. While he is talented, he does have concerns that need to be addressed.
