A man that looks suspiciously like superstar Mathias Hanyadi with an 80s cop mustache glued to his face walks up to the stand.
"Anyone that has any questions for me, please ask."
"We'll survive, don't you worry about that."
"Well, you catch everything thrown at you, that's a pretty great thing to see considering your average DSFL WR is a bit meh."
"For me, its about grabbing the best rookies we can in the draft, as well as utilizing what veterans we do have to the fullest. There's a lot of pressure on us to perform after the previous GMs left, but I think we can keep up that performance."
"For me, I see the size of the draft as a bonus. It means certain players that might have gone in the first round will drop to the second or even third round thanks to the amount of talent all throughout. So it means you can get better talent without having to trade up so much. But if you want to stand out, be active! Write stuff, talk to your fellow rookies. Giving confidence to GMs that you'll stick around long term is a surefire way to get drafted high."
"I bring a strong locker room presence that's also a veteran of the team. I've been with the team that Minnesota came from, the Marshals, so I know a lot of the guys in the locker room already. I hope to keep the same culture that's been around since I first joined."
"Definitely the culture. Everyone in the locker room is fantastic and wants the best for all of their teammates. I want to draft people that can fit into that culture, if at all possible."
"Well, my Co-GM and I are both relatively new at this. So learning the ropes and having a successful draft would be a good start, I think. Otherwise, continuing the Minnesota Ultimini streak would be pretty great."
Manyadi hastily ducks behind the lectern, applying some extra glue and straightening out his moustache before standing back up. "Why is your shirt wrinkled? Not everything about our appearance has to be perfect."
"Anyone that has any questions for me, please ask."
