Hello everyone! We have Buck Thronton joining us shortly to answer any questions. Ask away!
I think my work ethic will stand out over time. There are a lot of talented, hard working DBs in this draft, but can they keep it up 7 days a week over an entire season? We'll see. Because I know I can.
I want to help a team win a championship. Yes, I want a good environment and the best place to develop, but it takes those things in order to win a championship. If we focus on working hard and getting to a championship level the other things will come along with it.
It's hard to ignore what Myrtle Beach has done on defense. They have incredible Safeties leaving this year and I would be honored to follow in their footsteps. The Grey Ducks are defending champs so that is an obvious draw. I'm very interested in being a part of an initial class of one of the expansion teams and setting a tone there. Also, Portland was the very first team to reach out to me, which I value, and Jay Doctor from Tijuana was extremely helpful in getting me started with my player.
At the end of the day, whoever drafts me will want what I have to offer, and I will respect that above anything else.
No. I don't put ketchup on a sandwich.
Pancakes for sure. Waffles are usually too crunchy for me or too soggy - there's not a good middle ground. And my mom makes some fire pancakes.
I'm looking for a team that wants to build a championship contender. I also want a healthy non-toxic environment that provides the best opportunity to develop. I plan to be active on discord and would like to make some connections that I can carry on into the NSFL.
My little brothers. We lost our dad when we were young and I want to show them what he showed me while he could - that hard work is the only way to achieve what you want. I also want to help my mom out. She worked so hard to raise all four of us and I want to give her any help I can.
I see myself contributing to an NSFL team and helping them win a championship. I want to help to set a positive tone in the league and show rookies what it takes to succeed, like several of you already have shown me.
With: Chester Sweets (CB). Him and I have been buddies for awhile and helping each other through this process. I've also been working well with Lawrence Bass (LB).
Against: Any offensive player who thinks they can run me over. Let's test it out on the field.
I don't think the Coyotes have. I've been getting a lot of messages on discord so I apologize if they have and I missed it. But I've had at least a short conversation with all the other GMs so far.
Yes, I idolized Ray Lewis growing up. I initially played safety because I'm a little small for a linebacker and my speed was elite for high school (not so much anymore), but when we run Nickel and Dime I love to cheat up and play like a LB.
I don't see any Run-Support safeties rostered on NSFL teams, but Lamont McKinnie and Lightsout Lewis are high-endurance all around guys who I would love to play like. We'll know better once we see me play in the DSFL.
I'm into classic breakfast. Eggs, bacon, sausage. Day after game day I might let myself eat some french toast or biscuits and gravy, but in general I try to stay away from too many carbs.
Sounds....interesting. Haven't tried it yet, but if you venmo me I'll head there right now!
Win an NSFL championship. It'll take a lot of work to get there and I know I'll enjoy the journey.
Jay Cue only threw 9 interceptions last season...I'd like to bring that number up a little bit. (Given I'm not on Arizona)
I've really enjoyed myself. Everyone has been very welcoming and seems to want to get to know me. It makes you feel good when people are taking time out of their day to talk to you.
If I had said my mom is hot in the rookie survey would I have gotten one?
All you can do is work your ass off on and off the field. If you're putting in more work than those around you you'll succeed. I've never found that not to be true.
We got a little discord of S22 DBs going and it's pretty fun. Got Sebastian Vettel in there, Shawn Dawkins, Johnny Hellzapoppin. There's this guy Chester that ain't too bad.
Mom's spaghetti (hopefully not on my shirt though).
Let's ask some receivers after week one!
Depends...how many INTs do you plan on throwing?
I've been pretty active on discord and with media so far. I want to encourage people to be their best on and off the field (here in the NSFL and in our real, personal lives) and to work hard to succeed.
Quote:What do you think differentiates you from the other talent defensive backs in your stacked S22 draft class?

Quote:Is a hotdog a sandwich?
No. I don't put ketchup on a sandwich.
Quote:Waffles or pancakes?

Quote: Where do you see yourself in 5 seasons?
I see myself contributing to an NSFL team and helping them win a championship. I want to help to set a positive tone in the league and show rookies what it takes to succeed, like several of you already have shown me.
Quote: Who would you most like to play with/against from this draft class?

Quote: Would you be open to moving to the LB position if your team needed it from you?

Quote:1. Which QB in the NSFL or DSFL would you most want to intercept?
Jay Cue only threw 9 interceptions last season...I'd like to bring that number up a little bit. (Given I'm not on Arizona)
Quote:2. How have you enjoyed the recruitment process?
I've really enjoyed myself. Everyone has been very welcoming and seems to want to get to know me. It makes you feel good when people are taking time out of their day to talk to you.
Quote:What would you do for a Klondike Bar?
If I had said my mom is hot in the rookie survey would I have gotten one?
Quote:What do you say to people who say you haven't faced enough competition and might struggle at the next level?
All you can do is work your ass off on and off the field. If you're putting in more work than those around you you'll succeed. I've never found that not to be true.
Quote:Who's some of your favorite S22 DSFL draftees, besides yourself of course?
We got a little discord of S22 DBs going and it's pretty fun. Got Sebastian Vettel in there, Shawn Dawkins, Johnny Hellzapoppin. There's this guy Chester that ain't too bad.
