What would the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers do if the National Simulation Football League and the Developmental Simulation Football League both decided to forgo the season in favor of player's health and fan safety? Well, there would be many things that the players of the locker room would do together but apart. For starters, since Tom Sofa had already caught and developed an immunity to the coronavirus already this season, he would likely be the team's "errand boy" sent to get the groceries, the booze, basically anything that dealt with the outdoors Sofa would be your man. As for the activities, I bet a fair few would be watching drama unfold on television and the internet as the sports world witnesses a brand new beginning happening in the Chicago sports scene as the team is currently without a General Manager. I would be willing to be there would be conversations held on discord, somewhat similar to their already established Locker Room and training facility where they would hold these debates and speculate on the Butchers' future. These players would have nothing better to do than speculate if the league were completely shut down, and I would figure it lead to many "What I would do if I were Chicago GM" articles.

If the DSFL cancelled its season, Cadillac Harris would be a sad, sad man. Football is everything to him. Even if he isn’t playing well at the moment, being out there on a football field is familiar to him. It reminds him of home. It reminds him of when he used to play in high school, dominating opposing teams with his brother by his side. He doesn’t care about the virus, and would rather risk his well being to play, instead of being cooped up inside. It’s the only thing that allows him to be himself, and he’s grateful for it. If the season was cancelled, Cadillac would probably be lying in his bed, watching highlights of himself, and crying. He wouldn’t leave his room until the season was resumed. He probably wouldn’t even leave his bed, not even to eat, drink or use the bathroom. It wouldn’t be surprising if he was an alcoholic by the time the season started back up again. He’d abandon his friendships, relationships, and family due to the deep and unforgiving depression that he’d undoubtedly fall into, with the only cure being football. His only hope would be the season commencing itself once more.
I don’t know if this is right but I just looked at what other people have done. Hope it’s okay
It would suck if the NSFL decided to suspend its season. With the situation going on in the world at the minute there’s not a lot of sport for anyone to watch to start with so if even more sport stopped then things really would be getting fucked up.
Brady Matthis isn’t playing in the NSFL so it isn’t easy to talk about what he would be doing if it stopped because like that’s the same as what he’d be doing now which is preparing to get out there and do what he does best. Brady is currently playing college football and waiting for the right opportunity to join the league. The college football season has finished so he hasn’t missed any time playing luckily.
If Brady was playing in the NSFL now then I guess he would need to make sure that he didn’t get rusty while the league was suspended. He’d need to be training hard and working to be the best every day going forward. If he trained hard enough then when the league came back he would be in good shape and ready to go. Brady wants to be one of the best tight ends in the game and that’s going to take a lot of hard work, so he can’t afford any days off, even when the league takes days off in these crazy situations.
The Outlaws organization is very serious in terms of player safety so it was no surprise that they took the coronavirus very seriously. From day 1 the organization told us to be careful while in public due to how quickly it spreads. That being said, the second someone in Arizona was diagnosed with it, management jumped into action. Management sent us a message saying that we should stay home and all our necessities will be delivered to us. Every couple of days I see a box from the Outlaws on my porch with food, drinks, toiletries, etc… Thanks to them the lack of resources part of us being sequestered is not an issue at all. Now on the other hand, the largest issue is lack of things to do. What I tend to do is focus on watching game film. I could watch game film for a day and not realize how long it’s been. Another thing I enjoy doing is working on my quarterback skills. You’re probably wondering, “Why quarterback? Aren’t you a wide receiver?” I’ll tell you why, it’s because I'm gunning for the Outlaws starting quarterback job(coming for you Cue). Other than that I do what most people would do, sleep, eat, and play videogames with my Outlaw teammates. Who knew that Desmond was so good at NBA2k.
If the season was to end prematurely due to the virus, Kai Sakura would be absolutely devastated. After only just making the DSFL league, to have the competition shut down would be ripping the dreams Kai has had since he was a little kid out of his heart.
Since Kai has only had football to be the focus of his life up until now, he wouldn’t really know what to do with himself in quarantine. He would very quickly start feeling queasy and soak all of his time into the latest madden game. Hours and hours will past as Kai builds up his MyPlayer’s career to match the high expectation he holds for himself in his own career, if it is ever allowed to get underway.
As a complete germaphobe however, he will strictly keep himself in isolation, away from friends and family, and any outside contact whatsoever. Not having been drafter to a team since Kai is only days into his DSFL career, he won’t have to worry about being around his teammates and practicing social distancing around them. He can keep up his training in his fully revamped gym room, equipped with state-of-the-art cardio, strength and reflex training equipment.
Is that jazz music? Wait a minute, what is this pleasant smell that's making you hungry? Well, guess what? All that comes from Julio Tirtawidjaja's apartment because when there's no football, you can bet he will be playing his saxophone and cooking different food every day. Lately, Tirtawidjaja has been into making bread, and with plenty of time to spare, he's probably going to start making his own sourdough starter. So exciting, right!? Not precisely because Tirtawidjaja's going to miss playing football and running on the field. Sucks that he can't even practice because social distancing is a thing, and going outside is not allowed. How is he suppose to get faster when the furthest he can run is from the bathroom to the kitchen in his apartment? Good thing the DSFL/NSFL's season is not canceled yet because, as an extrovert, Tirtawidjaja probably won't be able to handle being stuck in his apartment for weeks or months.
On a side note, if the season is canceled, the Luchadores might do a pro-wrestling showdown live........ ON ZOOM! That's right because not even Covid 19 can stop us from wrestling with one another. But for real though, Tirtawidjaja's going to miss his teammates so much because the Luchadores do a lot of stuff together and their weekly dinner hangout will have to stop because they don't want to expose one another to the risk of getting infected by Covid 19.
Good thing the season is not yet cancelled and Tirtawidjaja can still play football and hangout with his Luchadores teammates.
If the league went under due to the pandemic, I would be really sad as I would have nothing to do. What am I supposed to do with my life if I am not spending all of my life watching and complaining about dots that never do what I want them to do. To spend my time away from the league, I would probably sleep a lot to fill the time. What better way to fill the time than not being conscious so I do not have to fill the time with lame stuff. Because sadly I could not spend my time sleeping non stop, I would probably start to try and start to knock out some game on my backlog. I still need to play Red Dead Redemption, that should knock out a lot of my free time without the league. I guess as a player I should provably try to do some exercise to keep up in shape. How am I supposed to be a mediocre football player if I am bot in shape. I guess I could do a pushup here and there. That has got to be enough to be a professional football player. Maybe I will add in a pushup to it.
