Hey everybody.
This is a bit of a somber moment for me. I have been GM for a while now. While I initially was not in a position where I even wanted to be GM here, I enjoyed my time greatly and ended up having some of the best times here, being able to build a team from a very difficult place to now a very incredible place. I got to draft some of my favorite people I have ever met. It would be too many to name, but I want to highlight my war room members, who have become some of my closest friends, from Tom, to Isa, Bex, Hippo, Sloth, Jay and drector. We have had some amazing times together and stepping down has gotten oddly emotional these last few days. I didn't expect to care so much, but it is very much time. I have not done enough lately and this team deserves the best leadership and that is no longer me.
My trusted co-GM Tom will take over as the main GM for the team and we will announce a new co-GM soon.
I am incredibly happy that I was able to go out on top. I long had a dream of winning a title here as GM. I have before as co-GM for OCO early in my career, but I wanted to win one as the main GM. Especially after I wrote my article. I guess next stop, SHL? I guess now I really gotta try for that third league title.
What we were able to build in NOLA is absolutely astounding and I love every single player on this team. I couldn't be happier we won it all tonight. It really is an astonishing success, especially when I think back to how it all started.
Thank you for all the memories NOLA. I will be staying true to you and continue my many projects like top 10 lists and such.
Thank you everyone.
