I think it's ether Johnny Manziel or Demarcus Russel
I think JaMarcus Russell is a bigger bust

Johnny Manziel isn’t in the conversation, he was picked outside of the top 20.
Ryan Leaf, JaMarcus Russell, Justin Blackmon, etc. are the kind of guys in contention here. Grayson Kuusela

Yeah it's hard to compare another player to a QB bust because of the expectation you're getting a franchise QB with that pick. [OPTION]===========================================

This is actually one of my favorite topics because I get to talk about Dimitrius Underwood. He was taken 29th overall in 1999, so not a high first rounder, but a huge bust and has an insane story.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dimitrius_Underwood To summarize: Drafted 29th overall by the Vikings. Signed a 5 year $7m contract in August 1999 then just walked out of training camp THE NEXT DAY and never came back. Said he couldn't resolve the conflict between playing football and serving his Christian faith. Later he changed his mind and returned to the NFL, but he had been waived by the Vikings and the Dolphins picked him up. They caught him multiple times writing about the apocalypse during team meetings. Keep in mind, this all happened over the course of two months. In September of 1999, he tried to commit suicide by slashing his own neck WITH A CUTLASS. He was put in a psychiatric care facility, but he escaped. A few months later in March 2000 he signs with the Cowboys. Gets some playing time, a few sacks, everything looks good. Fast forward to January 2001 he tries to kill himself again by running into traffic. Back into the psychiatric facility he goes.
