Julio Jones is your good ole all American mid-western corn boy born and raised in the fields of Topeka, Kansas. From the time he could walk until now, he has had an affinity for working on the fields and helping around the farm. His first introduction into football was in middle school, when he was urged by his PE coach to try out for the football team. After talking with his parents, they ultimately decided that he would give it shot if it didn’t interfere with his farm duties. Julio was so excited about this and swore that he would make his parents proud. From then on, he would wake up extra early to feed all of his family’s cows and chickens and make sure that everything was settled. Then, at 5AM, he would hop in his dad’s truck and get taken to practice. Once he was in high school and could drive, he ended up driving himself to practice. Although he was always large for his age, he did not get introduced to the fair rub club until he was a sophomore in high school. He hit a growth spurt and shot up from 5’9” to 6’3” as a sophomore, ultimately ending up as a big ole boy by the end of his high school career. Towards the end of his high school career, he became known as danica fitzpatrick, due to his ability to flip defenders and pancake them. His legend continued to grow, and coaches and scouts from all over wanted to see Julio work. Ultimately, our favorite corn boy from the midwest decided to commit to the University of Alabama, where he was a consensus all american for all four years and became Nick Saban’s favorite player ever. Rumors even said that Julio is in Nick Saban’s will because that is how close they are. Anyways, after his college career, julio decided to pursue a career playing professional football so that he can earn some money and then go home and buy his dad’s farm off of him, so that he can continue to live the farm live and make some little corn boys with his future wife.
