*Ready to be graded*
Hey guys. It's your favourite WR Nick Kaepercolin again and I'm here to answer your questions. I was recently drafted by the Baltimore Hawks who sent me down to play another season for the London Royals in the DSFL.
Thanks in advance for your questions!
1) To be honest, I didn't really like much tea before. But since being in London, I'm drinking more and more and I'm getting used to it. I regularly drinnk tea now, but rather just with honey than lemon and milk.
2) In my humble opinion, yes. The offense didn't really click and I think I could have really made the difference in this game. It was a bad start into the season losing at home in an expansion game, but I hope we can bounce back against Chicago and Philadelphia. It's gonna be a really tough season though.
3) I'm not the guy to pull that many pranks on rookies. But one I did was when we were checking in in the hotel with the London Royals. I stole the room key from rookie Mikael van Perkins. As we all checked in, he didn't have his key anymore and needed to talk to the front desk to get another key made for him. In the meantime, we entered his room and hid there. It took some time, but when Perkins finally entered the room, we scared the hell out of him. It was really funny to see him cry a little girl.
1) Hell yeah! We have a really strong offense this year and I'm sure we'll score many points toegether. I think, we'll be the best WR duo the DSFL have ever seen! I'm really hyped for the season to start and to show everyone how we improved our offense in the offseason.
1) It was a great experience. I think it was a bit unlucky that I didn't join the team before week 3 and therefore I didn't have much time to build synergy with my teammates. But I was really happy that they signed me from waivers. We knew that it would be a tough season as an expansion team, but overall I think we did a pretty good job and caused some upsets. Personally, I hope that this season I'm getting even more involved into the game plan, because I think I can be the one to make the difference in each and every game.
2) It was an awesome night for me. Before the draft I talked to many scouts and I knew of many teams that were interested in picking me up. With me missing last year's preseason I'm happy with my draft position and the Hawks were one of the teams I preferred as my landing spot in the NSFL. I like the city of Baltimore, like the history of the team and I'm really looking forward to play there. As I saw some of my London Royals teammates and friends were getting drafted by the Hawks, it made it even better that I'm heading there, too.
3) I really need and want to work more on my hands and on my route running. Last season I couldn't always create the seperation I wanted and I didn't make some crucial catches. Additonally, I'll need to build up some more synergy especially with Colby Jack. I hope that I'll get the ball more often this season and I want to do the best to help the teams reach the playoffs.
4) I sure did! In contrast to my fellow receiver mates at Baltimore not catching the ball often, I caught the game on TV. Unfortunately I couldn't be in Baltimore, because we're busy here training in London. I think, we had some flaws in offense in the game and it's a bad start to lose to an expansion team at home, but I'm sure we can bounce back against Chicago and Philadelphia. I also think that we are a pretty young team and we'll need this season to gain more experience. Playoffs would be great, but it's gonna be difficult to place top 3 in our division.
1) I'm really happy that I got drafted by the Baltimore Hawks and that I get the chance to play for this great franchise. I had some good talks with their scout before the draft and the Hawks were one of my favourite teams.
2) I have mixed feelings about that one. I'd have really liked it to play in the NSFL for the Hawks to compete against the best football players in the whole world. But I really like it here in London. I'm an important part of our team here and to be honest, they really need me to have a good season. The queen even personally told me that they want me to play another year for the Royals. If I could play for both teams at the same time, I'd do that without a doubt, but unfortunately that's not possible.
3) Personally, I want to get the ball more often and I want to put up some big numbers. I'm already holding the franchise record for the longest reception as well as the most receiving touchdowns in a season. I hope that I can improve these records and break some more.
But the most important thing for me is to reach the playoffs. We had a tough season last year as an expansion team and we got a bit unlucky. I think this season we'll have a better team and can hopefully get a playoff spot and maybe even win the Ultimini.
4) To be honest, I know of at least one guy that somehow likes pineapple on pizza. He was a member of the London Royals and is now playing for the Baltimore Hawks. I don't want to reveal his name here, but it's something similar to Jared de Hill. Aside from him, I didn't find another monster that likes pineapple on pizza. He's really a special dude.
