When not on the field Running Back spends his time as a video game critic. Whenever he has time he always makes sure to play and get a review in of any hot new game. Normally this comes in the form of a blog post on his custom made website "DoesthisVideoGameSuck.com". Each review takes him about 5 hours from purchase to fully typed up, and if he has extra time sometimes he'll even make a video for his youtube channel with a solid 7 subscribers. On steam he's reviewed over 300 games, and is a surprisingly harsh critic, only giving 2 games a perfect score ever, with a majority of his reviews being under 5/10.
Another hobby of his is watching/playing hockey. As a child in Canada, Back would always hit up the outdoor rinks in his free time and play some stick and puck with the boys. Hockey was always his favourite sport, but he wasn't as good as it as he was at football. However whenever he's in a hockey town or has free time he'll always try to catch a hockey game. His favourite team is the Calgary Flames, and he can usually be seen browsing r/calgaryflames or sneaking a look at the games at half time during games in Tijuana.
Bruce Buckley away from the field cares about what his teammates are doing. He like to be in the social environment hanging around with friends. Whether they be doing fun things like video games or hanging out at the pub slamming cold ones or at home chilling during a period of emotional distress, Buckley like to be with the company of his team-mates. This is extremely relevant in recent weeks as the Arizona Outlaws locker room has bonded together ignoring their recent string of defeats with the end goal of the rebuilding stage in site. The team realises that the close defeats to the Sabercats, Copperheads or Otters show that the team is close to defeating the premier teams of the league while not being as highly thought of.
Buckley also enjoys attempting to get him self back into things that he enjoyed back when he was in Australia. This may include watching the Cricket or Rugby League at the wee hours in the morning when the games are live or enjoying some great Australian cuisine. Buckley has recently elevated his cooking skills from Vegemite sandwiches to meat pies! Buckley enjoys connecting with his teammates and his culture on his time away from the football field and uses that passion he generates on the field in game.
Dre Matthews' first passion was not football, his first love was the game of basketball. Dre always played basketball with kids down the street and those kids always considered him the best. They always thought that he would pursue a career in basketball instead of football. Now that Matthews is in DSFL, during his free time he always loves to hoop, and always tries to watch basketball games, old and new. Dre also tries to go to NBA games when he has the time because experiencing a great game live is absolutely the best, there is nothing better. Dre Matthews' role model was always Michael Jordan. Even though he was not born to experience his greatness in the early 80s and 90s, his dad always showed him DVR tapes of Michael Jordan playing the game the Matthews once played. The mentality Jordan had playing basketball, was one thing Matthews wanted to have while playing football or anything really, that mentality was winning. Matthews' is the most competitive person on and off the field, he never wants to lose and wants to be considered as a winner.
Another thing Matthews loves to do is spending time with his family. Nothing is more precious to him than spending quality time with his family. With his family he always plays board games, watch movies, TV shows, and take them out to dinner sometimes. His best memories always comes from his family and would never trade anything for it.
You'd think pro running back Joseph Petrongolo does a lot in his spare time. After all, he's one of the DSFL's top backs. But if you think he's an active member of society, you'd be wrong. If he's not playing the greatest sport in the world, Joseph Petrongolo can usually be found in his Portland home, with all of the lights off and curtains drawn, playing on his Xbox One. The games he enjoys playing the most are Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, which he sucks at and makes him mad, Rocket League, which he sucks at and makes him mad, and Minecraft, which he is actually pretty okay at. He beat the ender dragon once, I think. Because Joe is also an athlete in a very competitive environment like the DSFL, every time he dies in COD, Rocket League, or Minecraft, he takes a nice swag from his hydroflasksksksks and then does 5 pushups before returning to action. If not sitting in front of his TV in a hypnosis-like trance, Joseph Petronglo may sometimes be found in his bedroom, sleeping like he has been for the past 13 hours, or maybe even raiding the pantry for his favorite kind of chip, sour cream and onion. One thing's for sure: If he's not on the field, he's definitely not doing anything athletic in the slightest.
Jordan is all about athletics, fitness, sports and gaming. Since his childhood days when he would complete his homework, he and his friends would have huge 7on7 tackle football games until the street lights came on. It wasn't limited to only football as the group of friends that all lived in a 300 house community with all things to keep kids out of trouble. They would drag out the basketball hoop on the side of the curb and play 3on3, 5on5, horse and all types of basketball games. Jordan found it hard to stay indoors if he wasn't doing his next favorite thing in playing video games. His dad got him into the PlayStation world at the age of 7. Andrews would become a defensive god on Madden holding an average of 70% of his opponents to 24 points or less.
Now, six years in the NSFL, Jordan is the same person with the same hobbies and feels he's more of a kid now that he can experience games early on in their release compared to when he was younger. Workout and exercise is a normal for Andrews as he knows how important a fit and healthy lifestyle translates to longer life. Nothing beats sitting at home watching ESPN or some horror movie with his immediate small group of friends and family. With his recent move from New Orleans to Florida, Jordan has stated that intends to hit the Sunshine State and explore what new hobbies he can get into.

Reginald Covington III doesn’t take lazy days. Football is life and life is football for him so it’s hard to imagine what a ‘lazy day’ would be for him. His regular days are filled with early morning cardio workouts, making and eating healthy protein rich breakfasts, than studying game film or working with coaches until afternoon scrimmage. So a lazy day for the ‘Gentleman’s QB’ would have to entail none of those activities. Reginald is a big brain thinker, so he’d be spending his lazy day playing games. Board games, puzzle games, brain teasers, etc. You name the game and Reginald would probably be all over it since he likes to flex his big head on and off the field. He’s a big fan of chess so he’d probably be spending a lot of time online trying to play the world’s best chess masters. Football, to Reginald, is much like chess. With all the possible movements and counters that an enemy can utilize, it’s very similar to playing football. He loves studying the back and forth play on the field so chess is a great crossover activity. In addition to chess, Reginald loves puzzles. They are simple yet complex because it requires seeing similar shapes and pattern recognition. Very similar to viewing the opposing defense on the football field.
