Welcome to this weeks RB TPE analysis
Intro:
With the start of the new season, tMuse and I decided to analyse the TPE of the S23 WR, RB, CB and LB this time round and tried to put some numbers into perspective.
Similar to last season, we looked at the total TPE, the date of the last update, the tier of equipment, their bank balance some minutes before posting this thread and the weekly TPE gain, which we divided into three sections. First the "Total Gain" in the table below is the official TPE gain with the update this week. The "Adjusted Gain" includes only the activities and tasks that could be claimed in this specific week. In the second table you can see which activities count for the "Adjusted Gain" this week, if the players did them and how many points they earned for each task. It doesn't contain things that can be done in any week like equipment upgrade or wiki. It also doesn't include things like predictions claimed for earlier weeks. All these gains are added in the column for "Other Gain".
As addition to our tables last season, this year we also include the tasks done this week and tasks done total for the whole season, as our analysis will be posted each week till the NSFL draft.
Here is the first table of our analysis sorted by total TPE:
We can see that there are 11 RBs from S23 in the DSFL, 8 of them updated this week. The other ones didn't update so far or weren't updated for a month. 5 of the top 6 RBs have already purchased Tier 6 Equipment with exception of Danny King, who could still claim 15 TPE by upgrading his equipment. In comparison with the WRs, the RBs are pretty broke with only Running Back having more than 10 million in the bank. As stated in the other threads, with the beginning of the season there are lots of other gains like Petrongolo who switched his position from TE to RB and gained 93 TPE in this update.
The adjusted gains will be analysed below in the second table. This one is sorted by "Adjusted Gain" for this week:
This table shows that only 4 RBs (King, Jeffrey, Back and Skrills) did all tasks for this week. Ayers and Petrongolo missed one prediction, McZeal missed both of them and Eller only did the activity check. The other 3 RBs didn't do any of the tasks listed. It's interesting to see that 2 of the top 3 RBs missed a prediction or didn't claim it so far. The next week will probably show which is the case and we'll probably see some more differences in Adjusted Gain with more tasks to claim that week.
If you have any questions or feedback for us, feel free to comment.
