First off, what is Scorigami?
If you have not watched the original Scorigami video by Jon Bois I highly suggest you do. I also recommend bingewatching his chart-party and dorktown videos. Especially chart party. They're are excellent examples of statistics telling stories. The saddest punt ever is a particular highlight.

Now. Onwards. I created a spreadsheet that tracked every SNFL score since the start of season 1 (excluding pre-season games because, as we know, pre-season doesn't count) and I came up with the following:
This is the SNFL Scorigami chart up to the most recent games (S1-S22 wk7). This was sparked by curiousity to see if a score like the 9-5 Butchers victory over Hahalua had been seen before. It turns out it's the second lowest total SNFL score ever (only beaten by a 10-3 scoreline) and the lowest winning score ever. No team has ever lost a game to a team that scored 9 points before.
There's also some standout data points like the 76-7 score that caused me to have to extend my spreadsheet to accomodate it. We see some gaps in similar positions to the NFL, around the 11 and 4 scorelines simply due to the awkwardness of getting to these scores.
As far as I can see, the highest tie game ever was 27-27 but there have been a number of higher scoring 1 point margin victories.
Additionally, only three games have been won with a score of less than 12. A 10-3 game, 10-6 game and our favourite 9-5 game. No team has every finished a game with a score of 11. Ever.
This is a short media post mainly for the purposes of sharing this sheet with everyone for now. I might try do some more detailed analysis at some point in the future. I'll also incorporate Scorigami Watch into my Elo posts.

Quote:Scorigami is a concept thought up by Jon Bois. It is the art of building final scores that have never happened before in NFL history. Due to the unique nature of how points are scored in (American) Football, where it is impossible to score 1 point on its own, as well as the rarity of the 2 point safety and 8 point touchdown and 2 point conversion, there are a lot of scores that are possible, but have never happened.[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Quote from https://nflscorigami.com/[/div]
