Welcome to this week's WR TPE analysis
Intro:
With the start of the new season, tMuse and I decided to analyse the TPE of the S23 WR, RB, CB and LB this time round and tried to put some numbers into perspective.
Similar to last season, we looked at the total TPE, the date of the last update, the tier of equipment, their bank balance some minutes before posting this thread and the weekly TPE gain, which we divided into three sections. First the "Total Gain" in the table below is the official TPE gain with the update this week. The "Adjusted Gain" includes only the activities and tasks that could be claimed in this specific week. In the second table you can see which activities count for the "Adjusted Gain" this week, if the players did them and how many points they earned for each task. It doesn't contain things that can be done in any week like equipment upgrade or wiki. It also doesn't include things like predictions claimed for earlier weeks. All these gains are added in the column for "Other Gain".
As addition to our tables last season, this year we also include the tasks done this week and tasks done total for the whole season, as our analysis will be posted each week till the NSFL draft.
Here is the first table of our analysis sorted by total TPE:
The table shows that there wasn't that much changes in positions this week. Sakura still has the most TPE of all WRs. After him Scabbia and Hood switched positions. The other changes to last week are Matthews taking place 7 from Matthews and Bodenhamer getting into the top 10 by kicking Blanco out of it.
After Matthews there's the first big gap between two positions with him being 22 TPE ahead of position 8.
10 out of those 14 WRs updated last week with Washington and Afton missing for the first time. Hands didn't update for the second time now and Harrison Leavers still didn't got an update in. Nobody purchased equipment this week, so Hood still has the chance to get into first place by upgrading to tier 6.
This week, there is less other gain with most of these tasks already done. Some players updated their wiki or claimed their predictions from the week before.
The last 2 columns show that there are 6 players who did all tasks last week, they also did all tasks the week before. The top 2 WRs Sakura and Scabbia missed one task this week.
To see what tasks were missed, here is the second table sorted by Adjusted Gain for this week:
3 WRs had very good predictions and a total of 22 TPE this week: Videl-San, Kingston and Howlett. Matthews and Bodenhamer also did all tasks, but predicted slightly worse giving them 21 TPE in Adjusted Gain. After those, we can see that Sakura and Scabbia only missed the predictions for week 5, they may have done them and claim them in the upcoming update. We'll see if that's the case next week. Blanco also didn't try to predict that week and he hasn't done or didn't claim his TPE for Trivia1 yet. On the other hand, Oberwald missed two predictions, PT1 and Trivia 1 resulting in him just earning 10 TPE this week.
The blue marked cells with the * show tasks that the user already did and claimed before. Blanco did two trainings in a week and Hood already claimed the weekly training and AC from the next week in his update before. Therefore both weren't allowed to do these tasks this week, which leads to them gaining less TPE for this specific week as these TPE were already added before. If we'd count those TPE for Adjusted Gain, Hood would be on top of the earning list with a perfect week and 23 TPE gained.
Because Hood and Blanco did the tasks, they count both for the tasks this week and the tasks total. They're just not found in the adjusted gain above.
That's it for week 2 of the WR analysis. If you have any questions or feedback for us, feel free to comment.
