Hello, Tychondrius(Tylus) here to answer any questions about the Grey Ducks, my rookie season, and the upcoming draft! I'm really enjoying the league so far and figured I would have another presser. Any other league related or off-topic questions are welcome.
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Questions[/div]
Hi Joe, I see you out there, slithering like a snake in the grass as RB. I wish I was a defensive player so I could take you down BOI!
1: It's really hard to pick just a few, everyone in the Grey Ducks locker room is so fun to hang around with. Me and Jamar Lackson have a lot of locker room synergy, and almost ALWAYS somehow have the same predictions. Kai Sakura is the best rookie WR in my class, and a class act individual, also an Aussie, which is cool. With Daymond Brooks in the room you know you're having a good time. All of our defensive leaders, such as Matt Krause, Tyron Shields, Mario Von Pebbles, Buck Thorton, and Dex Kennedy have been great locker room presences. We have the best kicker in the DSFL in Philip Stein. Both of our GM's are amazing, with the amount of work and time they put in, I can't imagine having better leaders for this team. I'm still so grateful they drafted me at 22OA. It's been a dream come true.
2: I'm looking to be a valuable contributor more than anything. I'd love to go to a team that has a need in my position(?) and be able to come in and compete right away. But I also wouldn't mind waiting down a year to be a leader for the Grey Ducks next season if that means a position will be open the following season. When I do get drafted I want to be the type of player who helps lift his team up, on and off the field. I also enjoy stats, so it's really fun to see yourself succeed during a game, and make a difference! Overall, I want to make a name for myself in this league, and hope to do so in the future, wherever I end up.
3: The desert rain frog. Google that bad boy. Thanks for the questions!!
1: My hopes are definitely to help elevate my team in any way, and be successful in my position. While I would love to be lighting up the stat sheet, I'm more interested in getting a check-mark in the W column every week. I do hope to someday break the 1k TPE marker, that would be an awesome achievement. Other than all of that, maybe a ROTY this year or POTY someday would be really great to achieve in my career.
2: It's been a blast, I have the best teammates and GMs. I couldn't have asked to land in a better spot in terms of friends and mentors, not to mention how great the season is going for us so far. I recently applied, and was accepted as a Grey Duck intern, so I'm super excited to be able to spend time with the team even after I'm drafted in the NSFL. I will always be a Grey Duck.
3: Go Gators! I'd be ecstatic to be a Copperhead. I've been saying that Austin was better than their record since week 4, and it's been really satisfying to see you guys come back and have such a great midseason. Also, I watched you get drafted in the last NSFL draft. You, Eddie Jeeta, being "the best WR in the draft", I felt I could learn by checking your updates and watching your film. You have definitely been really fun to watch, and I look to you as a role model for the future. Thanks for the questions and the kind words, I'M a really big fan.
1: I hope to land somewhere around where I was drafted in the DSFL draft(22OA). My hopeful predictions as of now are to be drafted sometime in the late 2nd round to the early 3rd round. Some of my teammates try to hype me up but there is so much defensive talent, and a lot of GMs, so I try to be practical.
2: Man, there is something I like about every single team. Buttt I guess I should give you a top 3 or 4 teams, just based on my interactions, and which teams have actually scouted me so far.
2A: I really like the YKW, I have received and enjoyed the scouting session we had. They seem like a great group of guys, and have a really strong team, plus I would get to reunite with one of my GMs in Mathias Hanyadi!
2B: I spent game night with Honolulu last night in their locker room and it was a LOT of fun. They really are a funny and cool bunch of guys out there in the islands, and I hope to be able to make it to the next game night. Their team are no slouches, and look to be building into a really strong franchise. Plus I love Dwyer.
2C: I also enjoyed my scouting session with Arizona. While somewhat short, I can tell they care about their team and are serious about winning. Their team is also incredibly young, with no players older than S17 drafts. Definitely a solid spot to land, with a solid future.
3: I never expect anything in this league, but I am hopeful that we will. With a two game lead in the division, the odds are in our favor. We have two away games coming up, one of which against the fearsome Tijuana Luchadores. If we can win one or both of those games, I think we should be in a really good spot, with two home games to close out the season.
4: Our goals are to WIN! Haha MOSTLY joking, but I think we all just want to have fun, and enjoy the time we have together as teammates before we have to go our separate ways some day. We definitely want to go all the way, and an Ultimini win would look great on my draft resume.
5: I’ve had people tell me that I look like Jim Morrison from the doors when I have long hair. Idk though lol.
6: Tyron Shields has played awesomely for us, a huge part of the reason we have the best ranked defense in the entire league! Dude is always in the locker room being a positive presence on the team. Love this guy. Thanks for the questions man, really appreciate it!
1: I really love wide receivers, but I would probably switch to running back if I could play anywhere, it’s such a fun position to watch, and makes a huge impact. I also might have another couple of positions in mind, but those are secret and only told to scouts.
2: Go into my teams locker room and get hyped up and go ape-sh*t in their locker room probably haha.
3: So some dudes are kissing, what the big deal? It's a bonding thing. Lol, thank you for your questions!
1: The games! It’s really fun to watch your player succeed, and have a good time with your teammates while doing it. I also really enjoy the stats aspect, and it’s fun to follow players who are in the running for player of the year in their position, and see them doing well.
2: Gosh. My favorite Grey Duck huh… I would have to go with Dewalt. He was the first person to scout me I think, and we hit it off all the way. The effort he puts into the team to create a fun and relaxed atmosphere in the locker room, and a great product on the field is unmatched. He deserves an expansion team some day.
3: I liked the Coyotes, Birddogs, and Norfolk GMs a lot, they were really friendly and helpful, and I’m sure I would have loved to play for them.
4: I see myself as a top 3 receiver in my class, player wise, and hopeful to be drafted in the top 3 rounds. I think I can really contribute to a team in the NSFL some day. I hope I’m viewed as a fun person to have around, but sometimes I feel like I’m being a bit too enthusiastic and try to tone it down so I’m not driving people crazy haha!
5: Personal goals of mine are to win player of the year some day in my position, earn 1000 tpe, and win an Ultimus/mini. My team goals are and always will be, to have fun, and be the best player I can.
6: My favorite game..probably the Witcher series of games. I’m a pretty big fan, as I own the books too, which came out long before the games by the way, and are AMAZING. The games though have the best storyline and atmosphere I’ve ever experienced. How much a single decision can affect everything is incredible, like mass effect times a thousand.
7: MoonMoon is one of the nicest people I have ever met, and playing tarkov with this guy is a blast. He is also a monster at the game, able to play for 16 hour straight without even blinking, while my body feels like it's slowly melting away. We have a ton of fun, and usually own people, usually as scavs strangely lol. This guy streams on twitch and you should all go watch him destroy dudes. Thanks so much for the questions man, and for being a leader for our offense!
1: I’m very happy with my stats, I let myself get a little down after my production stalled the last 2 weeks of games, but I realised how blessed I am to be in the top five wide receivers in the league in yards. I’m glad I’ve been able to help my team win any games where my yards made a difference, and getting my first touchdown was a really cool experience.
2: Me and Sim have a ton of fun, on and off the field. We have some great synergy at times on the turf, and are able to break off some big catches. I hope to continue that going into the end of the regular season, and hopefully into the playoffs. Off the field, we have definitely bonded as teammates, playing tons of games together. He’s an amazing teammate and person to have in the locker room for us.
3: Goals are to get to the playoffs. We really need to just secure our playoff spot before we get our hopes up too much. There is a lot of football left, and 2 away games in a row to deal with, so we need to tighten our bootstraps and keep working hard. Once we get in we can start thinking about winning more games.
4: Most underrated movie is one hundred percent Event Horizon with Lawrence Fishbourne(The Matrix) and Sam Neill from Jurassic park. This movie bombed because they cut so much for theaters, but is an incredible watch. Find the longest version you can and be prepared to get scared. Movie is terrifying in my opinion.
5: Boner Report is a Gem and was not lying about the scouting report he mentioned about me a few days ago. Leave Boner Report alone!! Thanks for the Questions Dewalt, you are the best.
1: My favorite teammates are Jamar Lackson, Daymond Brooks, Kai Sakura, JULIO JONES and Sim Snowbow, purely because they are my offensive BOYS. We are going to all be some of the best in our position some day, and amazing locker room influences. I can’t tell you enough how much I enjoy my time with you guys in the Grey Duck locker room. It has been a really fun season.
2: Favorite: Q(purely because of star trek) Least is going to have to be...J...idk about that j man it’s kind of whack if you ask me.
3: Jamar Lackson is the only player in league history to have ever forgotten where he put his legs before a game. I remember standing in the tunnel, everyone waiting patiently for Jamar Lackson, our STAR running back to show up for the game. Dewalt stared in the corner sobbing, while CLG punched holes in the concrete with his pure rage. When Jamar Finally showed up, he had nothing from the waist down, and was crawling along the floor, with pads on his upper torso yelling “I AIN’T NEED NO LEGS, LETS GET DIS DUB!” We lost the game, and he’s been a bum ever since he got replacement legs...I think something is wrong with them..
4: Jango Rhino is the core of this team's heart and soul. Nobody brings more heart and passion and love to the locker room like this man. After a loss you know he’s gonna be telling us to buck up and band together. His presence in the locker room is what made me initially want to be a Grey Duck, and I’m so glad I did.
5: I’m not sure if I’ve seen CLG drunk, but Dewalt is funny drunk lol. He just pops into different channels in the locker rooms and comments on whatever was recently said in some funny way. I enjoyed reading that. Love ya bro, you are a baller and a future star. Big brother from anotha motha influence right here.
I really appreciate your questions, and I’ll be answering any more questions later tonight or tomorrow if anyone else has any to ask. These were really fun to answer, and I hope to have more pressers like this in the future! Thank you so much fellas.
