Welcome to this week's WR TPE analysis
Intro:
With the start of the new season, tMuse and I decided to analyse the TPE of the S23 WR, RB, CB and LB this time round and tried to put some numbers into perspective.
Similar to last season, we looked at the total TPE, the date of the last update, the tier of equipment, their bank balance some minutes before posting this thread and the weekly TPE gain, which we divided into three sections. First the "Total Gain" in the table below is the official TPE gain with the update this week. The "Adjusted Gain" includes only the activities and tasks that could be claimed in this specific week. In the second table you can see which activities count for the "Adjusted Gain" this week, if the players did them and how many points they earned for each task. It doesn't contain things that can be done in any week like equipment upgrade or wiki. It also doesn't include things like predictions claimed for earlier weeks. All these gains are added in the column for "Other Gain".
As addition to our tables last season, this year we also include the tasks done this week and tasks done total for the whole season, as our analysis will be posted each week till the NSFL draft.
Here is the first table of our analysis sorted by total TPE:
You can see that Sakura remains on the top with 206 TPE. After him, Hood could overtake Scabbia. There were also position switches at place 6 and 7 (Howlett and Matthews), 8 and 9 (Washington, Oberwald) and 10 and 11 (Bodenhamer, Blanco), so there were only some small changes due to not that many tasks claimable this week.
There are still 4 WRs that didn't update, they all missed already two or more updates in a row now. After the last update before the draft next week, Blanco and Bodenhamer should have more TPE than Washington if he doesn't get back.
Blanco was the only player to purchase equipment this week, gaining 10 TPE as other gain and helping him to get into the top 10. He also would have enough balance to purchase tier 6 equipment for 20 additional TPE. The other player who had other gains this week is Griff Oberwald who did the training camp and claimed older tasks like PT 1 and Trivia 1.
This week, 9 of the 14 WRs did all tasks for the week and already claimed them in their update. That also means that there are 7 WRs claiming every task so far, Sakura still only missed 1 task.
Next we'll take a closer look what tasks each WR did last week in the following table sorted by Adjusted Gains:
This table shows that Scabbia didn't claim the two latest predictions and therefore missed some TPE this week. Matthews was the only WR to have a perfect week with gaining the maximum amount possible. Blanco only did slightly worse and earned the second most TPE. After him, most of the players have earned 12 and 13 TPE.
Unfortunately, there were only 4 tasks claimable this week, so there are no big differences here. Next week will be the last week of the analysis and there will be lots of TPE to claim, so it'll be interesting to see who can increase their draft stock for the upcoming NSFL draft.
That's it for week 3 of the WR analysis. If you have any questions or feedback for us, feel free to comment.
