This whole situation could've been easily avoided if someone, almost literally anyone, had brought this up to Joe personally. No one did, and here we are. Never mind the out of context comment leaked from a personal message meant to frame Joe in a negative light.
Building on this, whilst things should be attempted to be handled privately first before going public, i read the original post more leaning on the side of a slam on the media team, than opening up a discussion about the boundaries and the situation at hand. Whilst it is definitely not intended to be a slam or insulting them at all, it could definitely have been written in a different way to promote the idea of getting some feedback from the media team and asking for answers, rather than questioning the decisions that were made.
For something over 1 media article, it's gotten really out of hand. Points from people on either side are valid and to me, it lies somewhere in the middle as to how we move forward. There should have been some feedback or information relayed if the article wasn't to be graded. The article should only be graded based on itself, not factoring in the money earnt from others. Though if there is continuous fringe cases of whether it is league related or not by the same user, then inform them they are pushing the boundaries.
Things seemingly have calmed down on here, let's try and keep it this way and when a result is achieved between the parties involved and not with everyone else in between, then we can discuss civilly what that means for future media posts that have less league stories but more character development/other stories.
