HELLO MY FELLOW CITIZENS OF THE RECENTLY RE-NAMED INTERNATIONAL SIMULATION FOOTBALL LEAGUE!
Skip this part if you want
If you were not aware the International Simulation Football League, which is sometimes known as the ISFL, because that is an abbreviation which is used to make things simpler because for many people saying a couple of letters is very much quicker and easier to say than a couple of words. Now many of you are also confused what the ISFL is because the league just changed its name from NSFL which stood for the National Simulational Football League and I have to say I think the change of name was a great decision but honestly a ton of people will say NSFL out of habit which is of course expected. So what is an abbreviation you say well the root word brevis, which means short in Latin, like ‘brevity’ is at the root of the word, and abbreviat- is the late-latin verb for shorten, so to abbreviate means to shorten and an abbreviation is a shortened word usually so now you know what an abbreviation is. But what is the International Simulation Football League you ask? Well it is a professional football simulation league where every active member can create a professional football player (and multiple players if you make multis) and then our dear simmers put all the players into teams and leagues and they face off against each other for the honor of losing against NOLA. But what is football you ask? Well honestly that is a very confusing question for two reasons because there are two main different types of football and frankly i am not a very football person if that makes sense so i would probably not be the best person to explain to someone like you. One game which is just football is where you kick the ball and try to kick it into a goal where a goalkeeper is trying to stop you. It is a very exciting game but it is not the game you were asking about i think. American football is the one you were asking about and it is where stronk or speedy ppl try to get the ball into the endzone and score points and whoever has the most points wins. Now you know everything you need to know to be able to understand this masterpiece that i have written definitely not to just give me money.
You’re welcome for that 400-word shitpost. Dear fellow ISFL members, I am bringing to you a most heinous conspiracy against the common people of the International Simulation Football League. Take a look at some of the richest members of the ISFL, the elites. They have accumulated hundreds of millions of ISFL dollars. The richest member has nearly half a billion dollars. Meanwhile, the poor, everyday workers of the league slave away only to find themselves bankrupt and in debt to the bank. Now this league is very clearly run on a capitalist economy where everyone supposedly has the chance and opportunity to earn enough money for themselves if they give in the time and effort. I dream of a time where the wealth in the league is spread equally and the different classes are abolished, leaving HO or the commish in charge of equally distributing the money and resources among EVERY player. According to my calculations, the total amount of money owned by players in the league is roughly 13.4 Billion Dollars. There are 715 players the currently have bank accounts according to the ISFL Bank spreadsheet. This would give every player 18.7 Million Dollars, more than enough to cover training, and if they desire equipment, they could request HO of more monies. Not to mention, of course, that there are a fair amount of inactives who would not need the money anyway. So why is this not a reality? Well, the sad truth is that the elites in power have no incentive to do this, and so the majority of the money remains in their hands. I proposed a separate system where after an adequate amount of research and investigation, economical analyzers could determine a fair rate of exchange between separate league economies, and perhaps with an additional charge, players could exchange currencies between different leagues, allowing them to be more successful in different leagues. This idea was met by a mob of “lol”s. There are indeed problems with this system, as it removes incentives to obtain league jobs, and if league leaders fear that players would rather obtain league jobs in other leagues they have no reason to approve the change. I, however, believe, that with a harsh enough exchange rate players would still be incentivized to obtain league jobs because the other way would actually be more work. This system would actually work to the advantage of the elites who have more money than they know how to use.
This brings me to my final idea: player-to-player transactions should be among the new changes in the ISFL. This change would allow the elites the OPTION of helping the poorest players in the league, giving them a stepping stone to becoming a successful league members. The elites would also have no incentive to give away money willy-nilly, they have no reason to invest in an IA. The player in question would have to prove that they would be able to use the investment to become a successful player, giving a good return on their investment.
My dear sim league members, this should not be a reality in a league as advanced as ours:
So, I tell you, rise up against the elites! Demand economic reform! Stop the tyrannical rule of the capitalist regime! EVERYONE in the league deserves the opportunity to create a successful player, and money is key to this!
@Graders please grade this i need the money
P.S. I will take bribes
