(testing out the waters, probably none of this will be canon for my character).
What’s good everyone.
I’m new on the scene so I wanted to talk about myself a little bit.
I’m (Marlon) BB Alexander. My first name is Marlon and I hate it. I just go by BB. Why? Because I always have. BB was a nickname given to me early on in childhood by my little sister.
As some context: growing up in Albuquerque, mom always made the best food. New Mexican cuisine is totally different than anything you have ever had. I promise. Green Chile Stew, Sopapillas, Enchiladas. Ah… I miss it already. But my all time favorite? Mom’s home-made carne adovada burritos. For those of you who have never had it, carne adovada is pork slow cooked half a day in simmering red chile sauce. After sitting that long, the meat is so tender it just falls apart. Before it’s time to eat, make sure to also pan fry some diced potatoes in a little olive oil until the outside is just a little crispy. Now all you do is spread a generous helping over a flour tortilla, add some cheese and roll it up. Boom. You have the best damn burrito north of El Paso.
So back to my original point. Why did my sister name me BB? Well one cold day mom made her awesome carne adovada burritos. I sat down at the dinner table with my blanket wrapped around me about to destroy my favorite meal. Now I was already a big guy at the time, but my sister just laughed, yelling “YOU’RE A BIG BURRITO!”. At the time I thought it was stupid. As the years passed, my family always called me Big Burrito when they felt like patronizing me. Now, its like a term of endearment.
So that’s the story. My sister’s Big Burrito is gunna be an OL in the ISFL one day.
