**This is my first piece of media as a rookie and thus eligible for the x2 payout bonus**
Introduction
Hello everyone and welcome to my complete, 18+ round mock draft. I have not seen anybody do this yet, and since everyone who created a player will have them taken in the DSFL draft, I figured “why not?”. You obviously don’t want anyone feeling left out after all! I used a variety of resources including the TPE Tracker, the forums, player Wiki pages, and Discord activity to compile this draft. I will try to give commentary for every player, at least until we get into the lower TPE players or inactives.
**An absolutely HUGE shoutout to @Arkz as his “The Only S25 Scouting Report You Actually Need, ⋆⋆⋆⋆⋆ Ratings for every S25 Prospect” post saved me a great deal of time having to manually find players’ update pages.**
DISCLAIMER: This draft is my own personal opinion and should not be taken too seriously. This mock draft will (hopefully) have no effect on your actual draft position. If you are not on this draft board, it is because you either created after the time of writing, or you are not listed on the TPE tracker. I apologize if I missed you.
Without further ado, let us begin!
1. Portland Pythons – Goat Tank, Defensive Tackle
Archetype: Interior Rusher
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 310 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (70), Speed (70), Endurance (70)
What can I say here, it’s GOAT TANK! Goat tank got a jump start on this season, appearing in games for the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers and accumulating 134 TPE already. The three most important attributes for almost any player are all tied for highest, and this should help Goat Tank be a well-balanced player on the field. Hands down the best DT in the class and arguably the top prospect overall when you factor in his forum and locker room activity, I imagine there will not be much opposition to mocking him first overall. Mr. Tank also gets bonus points for having one of the most entertaining Twitter accounts.
2. Minnesota Grey Ducks – Alex Reed, Wide Receiver
Archetype: Speed Receiver
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 185 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (85), Hands (71), Agility (65)
Alex Reed has a few advantages working for him here. First is that, like Goat Tank, he is an early create and was able to get a head start on earning TPE compared to the rest of the class. As a result, Reed has piled up 141 TPE making him the first in TPE at the wide receiver position and the second highest in the entire S25 class. Additionally, like Goat Tank, he is a recreate. Throughout this mock draft, I will be subscribing to the idea that GM’s value recreates over newer players. The logic behind this is that if these users are already on their second player (at least), then there should be no questions as to how active they will be, unlike a new player whose activity levels will be seen throughout the season. Finally, the Minnesota Grey Ducks currently have no wide receivers on their roster, at least according to the TPE tracker. They obviously will need multiple players at the position, so why not start off by taking the best one in the class? One final note, his attributes are very impressive, especially for the DSFL level. 85 speed combined with 71 hands makes him a very real threat to take it the distance every play.
3. Myrtle Beach Buccaneers – Medicinal Toblerone, Offensive Lineman
Archetype: Athletic Lineman
Height: 6’7”
Weight: 340 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (76), Speed (70), Pass Block (70), Run Block (70)
This was a tough one. I was considering putting Dukburg QuakStak here since he is the highest TPE player in the draft. However, the Buccaneers currently have two cornerbacks as well as two safeties on their roster. Though Medicinal Toblerone is certainly not the highest TPE player on the board, he is one of the higher TPE offensive linemen. Additionally, he fills a need for Myrtle Beach Buccaneers as they currently only have one offensive linemen on their roster. Continuing the trend, Toblerone is also a recreate, thus making him even more enticing for the Buccaneers to select. His strength and speed are great for his position, but his blocking stats could use a little boost.
4. Tijuana Luchadores – Etrigan T. Slayer, Defensive End
Archetype: Balanced
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 285 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (76), Speed (70), Endurance (70)
This pick was a bit easier than the last, as Etrigan T. Slayer just makes sense here. 132 TPE (with 52 of it banked) makes him one of the higher TPE members of this class and I believe the highest at his position. More importantly, though, is that despite how well-rounded Tijuana’s roster is, the one position they have zero of is defensive end. Similar to Myrtle Beach, this is a need pick. That does not mean, however, that they are compromising with the quality of player. He was well rounded stats and is focusing on the important ones for his position. I believe Slayer will be a great defensive end for Tijuana this year and in the ISFL in the future.
5. London Royals – Dukburg QuakStak, Cornerback
Archetype: All-Around
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 210 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (82), Agility (65), Endurance (60)
I consider this to be a homerun of a pick for the London Royals. One of, if not, the highest TPE players in this class, Dukburg QuakStak goes to a team that is already pretty deep on defense with at least 1 of every position. However, they only had 2 defensive backs (1 corner, 1 safety) so it makes sense to take another starting corner here. QuakStak is a pure speed guy, which is definitely not a bad thing. You know what they say, “If DB’s could catch, they’d be playing receiver.” Though QuakStak’s hands are only rated at a paltry 50, it should not matter as his blazing 82 speed will allow him to keep up with pretty much any receiver in the DSFL. Again, great pick by the Royals.
6. Dallas Birddogs – Albert Ruschmann, Defensive End
Archetype: Balanced
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 275 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (70), Speed (70), Endurance (70)
What kind of prospect would I be if I did not think that I would be taken in the first round? Taking a look at the Birddogs roster, we can see that they already have two defensive ends. So why take a third? Two words: position swap. Though Ruschmann created as a defensive end, the free position swap rookies get would be utilized here as Ruschmann changes position to defensive tackle, which the Birddogs currently have zero of. The transition from end to tackle should be an easy one as the most important attributes for both positions overlap. In addition to having ideal attributes, Ruschmann has 115 TPE without any equipment purchases, making him one of the top earners in the S25 class. If this trend keeps up throughout next season, the Birddogs will have themselves a solid player who will quickly hit the 250 TPE cap for the DSFL.
7. Kansas City Coyotes – Felix Archstone, Offensive Lineman
Archetype: Technician
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 340 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (81), Intelligence (70), Pass Blocking (70), Run Blocking (70)
Offensive linemen are never sexy picks (though they might be sexy people), but they are necessary ones. The Kansas City Coyotes seem to be multiple players deep at every position EXCEPT for offensive line. Although not a recreate, Felix Archstone’s user GlimsTC has been highly active both on the forums and on Discord, which should assuage any fear the team may have about him eventually going inactive. Archstone is a raw player who has the physical tools to succeed. 81 strength provides him a strong foundation from which he can work on his technical skills such as pass blocking and run blocking. Though his size, specifically his 6’3 height, may force him to the interior of the offensive line, Archstone should prove to be an effective blocker in this league for years to come.
8. Norfolk SeaWolves – Davriel Lavigne, Safety
Archetype: All-Around
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 215 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (80), Strength (75), Endurance (70)
There is a reason the Norfolk SeaWolves won the Ultimini this season. Well, to be fair I am sure there are multiple reasons, but the one I was thinking of was their roster construction. Take a look at their roster and you can see that they are deep at almost every position, no glaring needs on this team. So how does that affect their draft strategy? Best player available. The rich get richer as the SeaWolves select Davriel Lavigne, a 152 TPE safety from long-time user Raven. Raven has been around and continually active since the middle of May of 2017, so there should be absolutely zero concerns about his dedication to the league. Regarding Lavigne, he is a fast, strong safety that can step in and make a difference in the secondary day 1. 80 speed combined with 75 strength in the DSFL makes this man a freight train who has receivers hearing footsteps before securing the ball. Even in the first round, this is a steal of a pick for the reigning Ultimini champions.
1. Portland Pythons – James Hoffman, Cornerback
Archetype: All-Around
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 205 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (80), Endurance (70), Agility (66)
The Portland Pythons continue to bolster their defense by adding one of the best cornerbacks in the class. Some may have Hoffman higher than QuakStak, some may have QuakStak higher than Hoffman. Bottom line is their both fantastic players and both speed demons on the field. While QuakStak runs just a bit faster than Hoffman, he lacks the endurance and shiftiness which Hoffman possesses. At 116 TPE total, Hoffman is one of the highest earning “true” rookies (new user, not an early create) and already has T3 equipment with more on the way I am sure. If you are looking at Portland’s roster, you might notice they already have 5 DB’s total. However, only one of them is a corner. Perhaps more important though is the TPE of each secondary member. Hoffman would slot in as the second highest in TPE in that secondary behind well known safety Joel Drake at 289 TPE. Hoffman’s user kingsleigher has been active on the forums, and even more so on both Twitter and Discord. Hoffman should pair nicely with GOAT TANK to generate both pressure and turnovers this season.
2. Minnesota Grey Ducks – Dave Batista, Tight End
Archetype: Blocking
Height: 6’6”
Weight: 280 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (70), Intelligence (70), Speed (70)
The Minnesota Grey Ducks continue to round out their gutted offense with the addition of a much-needed tight end. Dave Batista is head and shoulders above everyone else at the tight end position in this draft. His 141 total TPE, including T6 equipment, gives him significant advantages in his attributes compared to others. His 70 strength and intelligence will serve him well in picking up blockers for his running back or receivers. However, do not discount his 70 speed as well. We could see this offense start to turn to Batista to convert those 3rd and manageables, using his size to his advantage. One final note, Batista is a recreate just like many of the previous picks. GM’s love the security that comes with not having to worry if their newly drafted rookie will just stop showing up one day.
3. Myrtle Beach Buccaneers – Sheed Thebaw, Defensive Tackle
Archetype: Interior Rusher
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 300 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (71), Strength (70), Endurance (60)
Switching sides of the trenches for the second round, the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers pick up the second-best defensive tackle in the draft. Despite already having two of them on the roster, the Bucs were in need of an active DT as one of theirs is still at 50 TPE and most certainly inactive. Sheed Thebaw, unlike Goat Tank, is not a recreate but has still been earning consistently. His 101 TPE (and more pending) is best among the “true” rookies in this class at his position, and his attributes back it up as well. A nice balance of speed and strength, Sheed should live up to his namesake and shed the ball from the offense multiple times a season. Though not too active in team locker rooms, he is a highly motivated player who makes his presence known both on and off the field (both through the forums and especially his Twitter).
4. Tijuana Luchadores – James Gath, Cornerback
Archetype: Man to Man
Height: 5’11”
Weight: 198 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (81), Agility (70), Endurance (58)
Considering the only cornerback currently on the Luchadores roster has not been seen in over five weeks and is still at 50 TPE, this pick was a no brainer. Gath is right up there with QuakStak and Hoffman in terms of his attributes. Fast corner, this time with more quickness than endurance. James Gath’s user, Beefstu409, is active both on Discord and the forums. He has put out multiple pieces of media including a mock draft engine he created himself. Currently at 99 TPE, Gath certainly has money in the bank from his media pieces to purchase both T6 equipment and continued weekly trainings, so he can only get better from here.
5. London Royals – Raylan Crowder, Defensive End
Archetype: Power Rusher
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 291 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (80), Strength (72), Tackling (67)
In terms of average roster TPE, the Royals are probably one of the higher averages in the league. Their two lowest TPE players, though, are at the defensive end position. Enter Raylan Crowder. With 129 TPE, this guy’s dedication is clear. On top of already having purchased T6 equipment, he also invited not one, not two, but four (!) new members to the league. Aside from the TPE incentive, it is always great to bring new people in and Crowder has done that fourfold. Do not pay too much attention to the archetype here. Despite being a power rusher, Crowder can use his 80 speed as well as his strength to rush the passer. Crowder and Ruschmann are really the 1A and 1B of the “true” rookies in this class, it just depends what the team is looking for. In London’s case, they could move him inside to DT or keep him outside and let him use that speed. Excellent man, excellent pick.
6. Dallas Birddogs – Vance Slattery, Defensive Tackle
Archetype: Nose Tackle
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 310 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (75), Speed (62), Endurance (60)
The Dallas Dogs double dip on drafting defensive dudes. A true defensive tackle, Vance Slattery should slot right in next to converted defense end Albert Ruschmann on the interior of the d-line. Slattery is actually one of the stronger defensive tackles in this class with 75 strength. I feel his skill set is well suited for his position, as speed is not as big of a concern for DT’s as it is for DE’s. Punter715, Slattery’s user, has been somewhat active in team locker rooms, but more active on the forums especially. Solid player with lots of upside that also fills a need for Dallas, cannot complain about that.
7. Kansas City Coyotes – Swantavius Jones, Offensive Lineman
Archetype: Pass Blocker
Height: 6’6”
Weight: 340 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (86), Pass Blocking (70), Run Blocking (70)
Offensive line, the position so nice, they drafted it twice. With two running backs each over 200, and a 333 TPE quarterback, the Kansas City Coyotes realize the importance of having solid offensive linemen. Solid is one of many adjectives to describe the 6-foot 6, 340-pound Swantavius Jones; see also: large, massive, mountainous. Jones is even stronger than previous draftee Felix Archstone, and with the same pass and run blocking abilities. At 131 TPE, Jones is one of the top earners among offensive linemen in his class. He has put out media and already purchased T6 equipment. Jones, however, is not as well rounded as Archstone. While he may possess the size to play one of the tackle positions, he lacks the speed to with only 50. Regardless, Jones will be a big boost to the currently bare Coyotes offensive line.
8. Norfolk SeaWolves – Harley Fank, Wide Receiver
Archetype: Speed Receiver
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 222 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (80), Endurance (75), Hands (70)
The champs do it again. While receiver is not the biggest hole on the SeaWolves roster (see defensive end), the value here at the end of the second round is just too good to pass up. Harley Fank is an early create receiver who actually played a handful of games for Norfolk last season, so the connection is there. With 134 TPE, he has great attributes as well. 80 speed ranks Fank among some of the faster receivers in his class, and the 75 endurance and 70 hands certainly do not hurt either. Fank will most likely slot in next to 369 TPE receiver Dre Matthews and supplant 69 TPE, inactive receiver Logan Hex. Best player available works again.
1. Portland Pythons – Jameson Vermillion, Running Back
Archetype: Speed Back
Height: 5’8”
Weight: 215 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (82), Endurance (70), Agility (55)
First pick of the third round, first running back off the board. Portland plays it smart with this pick. While up until this point they had no running back on their roster, no other team had a strong need for one either. Thus, they were able to capitalize on talent in the earlier rounds while still grabbing the best running back in the class later. With 99 total TPE, Jameson Vermillion is pure speed. With 82 in the skill, he ranks up there in the league with some of the fastest corners and receivers. While he probably will not make too many people miss, and he might not catch a ton of balls out of the backfield, it does not matter. This job is his.
2. Minnesota Grey Ducks – Mike Rotchburns
Archetype: Power Back
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 245 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (79), Strength (74), Endurance (70)
After not having any running backs taken in the first two rounds, we have two back to back. If you look up the definition of man in the dictionary, you very well may find a picture of Mr. Rotchburns. To his high school coach who saw this physical freak and decided to play him at running back, I tip my hat to you. As an early create, Rotchburns has 113 TPE total which is just 14 more than Vermillion who was picked before him. The two, however, are quite different. While Portland clearly desired speed, Minnesota opted for Rotchburn’s raw size and power. With 79 speed and 74 strength, Rotchburn makes an ideal bruiser of a back that can wear opposing defenses down late into games.
3. Myrtle Beach Buccaneers – Rich Triplet, Cornerback
Archetype: Zone
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 195 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (80), Agility (65), Intelligence (60), Endurance (60)
The Myrtle Beach Buccaneers continue to patch the holes on their defense. While the Bucs have two cornerbacks rostered already, one is most definitely inactive with only 50 TPE. Triplet will slide in nicely to the number two corner spot with his 99 TPE overall. Similar to other corners in the draft, he has top line speed to keep up with receivers who enter his zone. Kotasa, Triplet’s user, has been active posting media in the forums and making appearances in various teams’ locker rooms. Despite being a Minneapolis native, he will be making his home in Myrtle Beach for at least a season. I am sure he will be glad to get away from the snow.
4. Tijuana Luchadores – Darren Pama, Tight End
Archetype: Balanced
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 245 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (77), Hands (65), Endurance (65)
The Tijuana Luchadores, employing a similar strategy to the Portland Pythons, snag one of the best tight ends in the draft halfway through the third. Another position that is not in high demand, the Luchadores waited patiently to grab their now only tight end on their roster. This is truly a steal as Pama has a massive 129 TPE overall despite not being an early create. Part of this is due to his purchase of T6 equipment, with the money provided by his user’s (ztarwarz) dedication to the creation of media. Seriously, if you have not seen some of his stuff, check it out. Getting back to Pama, though, his 77 speed puts him in line with some receivers in the league. If he can shore up his hands, he will be a real downfield threat. Absolute steal at this spot for the Luchadores.
5. London Royals – Hank Winchester, Linebacker
Archetype: Speed Rusher
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 255 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (87), Agility (60), Tackling (60), Endurance (60)
Just as the beginning of this round featured the first two running backs taken off the board, the middle of it has the first linebacker taken. While the London Royals already have 3 linebackers on their roster, one of them is first overall pick in the ISFL draft Juan Domine who likely will be called up to the DSFL. That leaves one open linebacker spot for the Royals, and Winchester is the best on the board. With 142 total TPE and a blazing 87 speed, he certainly fits the speed rusher role. I believe 87 speed is faster than player who has been already drafted. While his tackling could use improvement, maybe the Royals intend to use him in Tampa 2 style defense as a hybrid linebacker/safety. Regardless they snag one of the top linebackers on the board.
6. Dallas Birddogs – Ananda Adyan, Offensive Lineman
Archetype: Pass Blocker
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 340 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (80), Pass Blocking (75), Run Blocking (70)
The Dallas Birddogs decide to switch sides of the line with their third-round pick and select one of the best remaining offensive linemen in Ananda Adyan. While the Birddogs already have two offensive linemen rostered, both are at 50 TPE (one of whom is a bot, while the other has not been seen in over seven weeks). Ananda comes in with 102 total TPE, and some well-rounded attributes on top. Arguably his top 3 skills are the most important for offensive linemen, so it is encouraging to see user TMosura building his player that way. TMosura is also known for his graphical work he does on the forums – if you need a signature for your player, he is your guy.
7. Kansas City Coyotes – Tex Wrecks, Defensive End
Archetype: Balanced
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 279 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (70), Speed (70), Endurance (65)
Linemen, both offensive and defensive, continue to be a hot commodity as another comes off the board. Do no let the attribute scores fool you. Tex Wrecks is a 112 total TPE defensive end who is keeping 62 of that banked, similar to Albert Ruschmann. This will allow the Coyotes to utilize his skillset however they see fit. Defensive line was one of the bigger areas of need for Kansas City after o-line as they only have 1 defensive end and 1 defensive tackle rostered. An earlier create than most, user 209tacos has been active in both locker rooms and forums and should continue to be active throughout the season.
8. Norfolk SeaWolves – Peter Patterson, Cornerback
Archetype: Zone
Height: 6’0”
Weight: 188 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (78), Agility (70), Intelligence (62)
After two rounds of taking the best talent left on the board, the SeaWolves finally decide to address a team need instead. After drafting rookie talent Davriel Lavigne in the first round, this pick brings the total number of defensive backs on the roster to three. Patterson is a solid corner. His 78 speed is a hair slower than some of the corners who went before him, but given his zone archetype, this should not hurt him too much. With 99 TPE total and more on the way, user slate continues to be an active participant on the forums and in team locker rooms. Another solid pick for the SeaWolves.
1. Portland Pythons – Bobby Hoffman, Defensive End
Archetype: Power Rusher
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 300 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (73), Speed (73), Endurance (70)
Portland starts the process of shoring up their defensive line. Taking a look at the roster, the Pythons simply need bodies at a handful of positions, defensive end being one of them. Portland selects Bobby Hoffman here, one the best remaining defensive ends on the board. Realistically, Hoffman is not too far behind other defensive linemen drafted ahead of him, despite being taken several rounds later. At 92 TPE total, user mpressive23 has been earning almost as consistently as other DE’s in his class. Still similar to other defensive ends are his attributes; well rounded and allow for future development.
2. Minnesota Grey Ducks – Lionel Rumper, Safety
Archetype: Run Support
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 226 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (79), Tackling (65), Endurance (65)
In the words of the man himself “You gotta hump with ya rump to bring that thump.”, and bring the thump is exactly what the Minnesota Grey Ducks did with this pick. After picking offensive players in three consecutive rounds, the Ducks switch it up and take one of the best safeties in the draft. Much like Portland, they just need bodies on the roster and at a multitude of positions. Rumper can immediately fill the role of second safety on the team. With 107 TPE, Mr. Rumper is one of the higher earning players in this class. His 79 speed is more than enough to cover most of the field quickly. He should see great success this season with Minnesota.
3. Myrtle Beach Buccaneers – Noah Akerele, Wide Receiver
Archetype: Speed Receiver
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 201 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (80), Agility (70), Endurance (70)
After their first three selections, the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers roster is looking pretty solid, no glaring deficits at any position. What they are lacking, however, is a second wide receiver. Thus, the selection of Noah Akerele makes perfect sense here. Just the third wide receiver off the board in the fourth round, Akerele is a great player. Sitting at 108 TPE, he has been earning consistently this offseason. With 80 speed, and 70 agility and endurance, Akerele has a solid foundation to build upon. Additionally, Noah is a recreate player from incitehysteria so the Buccaneers know what they are getting an active user here.
4. Tijuana Luchadores – Angelo Cerilli, Defensive Tackle
Archetype: Interior Rusher
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 310 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (60), Endurance (60), 5 tied at 50
We all know the saying “Don’t judge a book by it’s cover”. That is this pick in a nutshell. Angelo Cerilli’s attributes at face value are not good. Having 60 as your highest score may make people question if you are active. However, Cerilli is regularly active, coming in at 99 TPE overall. Similar to other defensive line prospects in this class, he has chosen to bank all of his earned TPE in order to build himself how his new team desires. While not necessarily a sexy pick for Tijuana, it is a necessary one.
5. London Royals – Tayshawn Crunk, Safety
Archetype: Center Fielder
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 195 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (84), Endurance (70), Agility (70)
The Royals’ roster is already fairly solid, but it becomes even better with the addition of safety Tayshawn Crunk. Crunk is a player who makes his presence known, both on and certainly off the field. Crunk has one of the most active Twitter accounts for a prospect, and his self-confidence can seemingly never be shaken. Moving on to his measureables, Crunk is up there with the rest. 84 speed makes him one of the fastest players in this class. When you combine that with his 70 agility, if he gets his hands on the ball, you might as well wave him goodbye. Great addition to the Royals secondary.
6. Dallas Birddogs – Mark Callous, Wide Receiver
Archetype: Possession Receiver
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 210 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (78), Endurance (70), Hands (70), Agility (70)
While the Birddogs could use a little more help on defense still, they take this opportunity to select an offensive weapon. Just the fourth receiver off the board, Mark Callous is a solid one all around. While 78 speed is certainly not the fastest at his position, his other attributes more than make up for it. Having 70 in endurance, hands, and agility makes him a very dependable receiver for picking up yards in chunks. Callous’ user McCransky has also been one of the more active new users, most noticeably in the London Royals locker room. Great user, solid player, the Birddogs walk away satisfied.
7. Kansas City Coyotes – Rusty Rucker, Linebacker
Archetype: Balanced
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 235 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (80), Tackling (70), Endurance (65), Agility (65)
One of the best linebackers in the drafts slides to the Coyotes in the late 4th. While the Coyotes already have 4 linebackers on their roster, one is at 50 TPE while the other has been inactive for over 3 weeks. Rucker’s top two abilities are arguably the most important for a linebacker. He is able to chase down and bring down targets anywhere on the field. His user, LancedJack, has been regularly active on the site since joining and is equally as active on Discord. Kansas City should feel great about this pick.
8. Norfolk SeaWolves – Donald McBobby, Linebacker
Archetype: Power Rusher
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 255 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (76), Speed (76), Tackling (65)
Back to back linebackers to cap off the 4th round. If you are familiar with the SeaWolves’ roster, then this pick might have you scratching your head. They already have three linebackers, all with 171 TPE or more, so why draft a fourth? Similar to Albert Ruschmann in the first round, this will be a position change to defensive end. Currently the SeaWolves only have one on the roster, and they have been inactive for close to two months now. Donald McBobby is the perfect candidate for a position change as well. He has perfect height as well as ideal attributes for defensive end. Really the only thing he would need to focus on is bulking up another 20-30 pounds. Donald McBobby was an early create and thus has had time to accumulate 111 TPE total. If you compare this to the TPE totals of the remaining defensive ends, he really is a diamond in the rough. The SeaWolves happily scoop him up here.
1. Portland Pythons – Guy Fields, Linebacker
Archetype: Coverage
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 223 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (75), Endurance (70), Agility (68)
The run on linebackers continues as Guy Fields comes off the board. Portland currently only has two linebackers rostered, so this pick will round out the group nicely. The fourth defensive player taken with Portland’s five picks so far, Fields is a solid linebacker. 75 speed paired with 70 endurance should allow him to keep up with tight ends and receivers across the middle of the field. With 99 TPE total, he has been participating actively in both the forums and Discord and shows no signs of stopping. Fields joins 3 rookies so far on the revamped Pythons defense.
2. Minnesota Grey Ducks – Corran West, Cornerback
Archetype: Man to Man
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 185 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (80), Agility (70), Endurance (65)
Corran West becomes the sixth cornerback off the board but the first one selected for the Minnesota Grey Ducks. After just adding a second safety to their roster with their previous pick, they now pick up a second cornerback to round out their secondary. West’s attributes remind me a bit of safety Tayshawn Crunk, fast and agile. He should be able to keep up with most receivers and provide the Minnesota secondary a necessary boost. With 89 TPE and counting, West should be active this season and into the future.
3. Myrtle Beach Buccaneers – Jake Fencik, Kicker/Punter
Archetype: Balanced
Height: 5’8”
Weight: 165 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Kick Accuracy (80), Kick Power (75), Endurance (65)
And there it is folks, the first kicker/punter off the board! Myrtle Beach decides to take the best special teams player in the draft as the rest of their roster is shaping up nicely. Fencik has 95 TPE total, and it definitely shows in his attributes. 80 kick accuracy is nothing to sneeze at, followed closely with 75 kick power. While some teams elect to go with non-human players for their kickers, the Buccaneers give themselves a little peace of mind for their kicking game. Maybe this will be the start of a kicker/punter run?
4. Tijuana Luchadores – Brick Van Sanzo, Defensive End
Archetype: Power Rusher
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 285 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (77), Strength (70), Endurance (62)
The Luchadores started this draft with a defensive end, and they are taking another one here. Tijuana came into this draft with zero DE’s on their roster, but now they are back at full strength with two. While the position is not exceedingly deep this year, Brick Van Sanzo is the best of the DE’s left. With 84 TPE and a solid 77 speed and 70 strength, Van Sanzo should make an immediate impact for the Luchadores defensive line. If user snazzlepuss22 gets even more active, this could be a steal for Tijuana.
5. London Royals – Daniel Foster, Tight End
Archetype: Balanced
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 264 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (77), Endurance (65), Hands (61)
The Royals deviate from a run of four defensive players to pick their first offensive one who just happens to be one of the best tight ends in this class. While they already have one tight end on their roster, the value here is simply too good to pass up. Additionally, a second tight end affords them the flexibility to run two tight-end sets, great for either inside runs or play action. Daniel Foster has 101 TPE and seems to have put most of it into pure speed. At 6’5” with 77 speed, Foster is a serious vertical threat. His user, Arkz, is one of the most active I have personally seen with him most notably coming out with this S25 prospect review covering every single player in the S25 class, very impressive. This is great value for London here and I am sure Foster will be happy to be a Royal.
6. Dallas Birddogs – Richard ‘Dick’ Leaking, Linebacker
Archetype: Speed Rusher
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 242 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (70), Strength (68), Tackling (65)
Dallas selects one of the best remaining linebackers, both in skill and in name. With this selection, Mr. Leaking would be the third linebacker rostered by Dallas. At 6’5”, Dick stands erect on the field, waiting for his moment to find a tight end and penetrate past him into the backfield. His top three attributes may seem low, but he has chosen to bank all of his TPE (which he has 99 of, by the way) like a few others. He is an active user, more so on Discord than the forums, but active nonetheless. Dallas gets good value here as they can shape Mr. Leaking however they choose.
7. Kansas City Coyotes – Djibutee McJimmerson, Tight End
Archetype: Balanced
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 249 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (70), Hands (69), Endurance (65)
The Coyotes take a page out of the Royals’ playbook and opt for the value play. While they already have two tight ends rostered, one has been inactive for over 2 months. Djibutee McJimmerson is most definitely active as he has 99 TPE total. The 6’5” product from Rwanda is certainly make headway into becoming a well-balanced prospect. A very respectable 70 speed and 69 hands makes him a great target for the QB to look for on 3rd down situations. He joins an already stacked Coyotes offense.
8. Norfolk SeaWolves – Chuck Roth, Offensive Lineman
Archetype: Technician
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 331 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (80), Run Blocking (70), Pass Blocking (70)
When the rest of your roster is pretty stacked, where do you turn? Offensive line is never a bad bed and that is exactly what the Norfolk SeaWolves choose to do here. Chuck Roth has somewhat flown under the radar for most teams, most likely due to his lack of Discord activity. However, when it comes to earning TPE, Roth is on top of it. With 106 currently and counting, Roth is one of the best among offensive linemen. His attributes give him a fantastic foundation to build off of. Another great pick for the reigning Ultimini champions.
1. Portland Pythons – Cmon Skiuuup, Tight End
Archetype: Vertical threat
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 250 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (70), Hands (70), Strength (68)
The Pythons go ahead and follow suit by adding a second tight end to their roster. Cmon Skiuuup currently has 107 TPE (including T6 equipment) and is improving by the week. Perhaps one of the most balanced receivers in the class, Mr. Skiuuup is equally fast and dexterous, having both 70’s in speed and hands. Sam Howitzer, the Pythons starting quarterback, should be thanking his GM for giving him another weapon to throw to on offense.
2. Minnesota Grey Ducks – Honky-Tonk Haywood, Defensive Tackle
Archetype: Interior Rusher
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 308 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (70), Strength (65), Endurance (64)
Some might argue that the Grey Ducks waited too long to address the interior of their defensive line. Their one rostered defensive tackle has 153 TPE, but unfortunately has not been active seen in over five weeks. However, I think they still managed to pick up a solid DT in Honky-Tonk Haywood. Haywood currently has 89 TPE, a respectable amount. He should slot into the starting lineup easily and be able to show off what he can do with his 70 speed.
3. Myrtle Beach Buccaneers – L’Gazzy Burfict, Linebacker
Archetype: Run Stopper
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 255 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (70), Speed (70), Tackling (70)
The Buccaneers elect to harvest a linebacker from this season’s ever-shrinking crop. They currently only have two linebackers rostered (one of whom has not been active for over 2 months), so L’Gazzy Burfict is a no-brainer here. With 89 total TPE, L’Gazzy is arguably the most well-rounded linebacker selected yet. With 70’s in the three most important attributes, he will be able to make an immediate impact in the run game.
4. Tijuana Luchadores – Tony Yeboah, Safety
Archetype: Run Support
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 225 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (75), Endurance (72), Tackling (60), Agility (60)
After taking a cornerback in the second, the Tijuana Luchadores elect to pick a safety here to compliment him. Counting cornerback James Gath in the second round, the Luchadores now have 2 corners and 3 safeties rostered. However, out of those five, two have not been active in over a month. This pick gives the Luchadores flexibility in their secondary. They can choose to either keep Tony at safety, or they can position swap him over to corner. In regard to his attributes, Tony has speed and endurance high. While his tackling could use improvement, especially if playing in a run support role, he should be a very serviceable safety with 95 total TPE.
5. London Royals – Adam C. Spencer, Wide Receiver
Archetype: Route Runner
Height: 5’8”
Weight: 210 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (80), Hands (74), Agility (70)
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. The London Royals stick with the same strategy as last round and take value where they can find it. In this case, at the wide receiver position. Adam C. Spencer is a recreate with 104 total TPE. While certainly impressive on its own, what is more admirable is how he chose to spread it out. 80 speed, 74 hands, and 70 agility is a lethal combination. This man can run, catch, and make guys miss, simply put. A true steal for London halfway through the sixth round.
6. Dallas Birddogs – NationalSimulation FootballLeague, Safety
Archetype: Center Fielder
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 215 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (82), Agility (70), Endurance (70)
The Dallas Birddogs add the player with arguably the best name in the entire class. While they already have a total of five defensive backs on the roster, including four safeties, two of them have not been active for close to two months. The logic behind this pick is the same as when they took Albert Ruschmann in the first round: position swap. NationalSimulation FootballLeague is an 87 TPE safety who can easily make the transition to cornerback. Given his 82 speed and 70 endurance, he would make an excellent man to man corner.
7. Kansas City Coyotes – Owen Holloway, Quarterback
Archetype: Game Manager
Height: 6’0”
Weight: 195 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (79), Intelligence (70), Throwing Accuracy (67)
The Kansas City Coyotes saw what the Buccaneers did in the last round by taking Jake Fencik and decided to do the same, this time with quarterback. Taking a look at the Coyotes’ roster, we can see that despite having a 333 TPE quarterback, he has not been seen in over a month. The first quarterback off the board (and deservingly so), Owen Holloway is a student of the game. A recreate, Owen already has 117 TPE and is climbing fast. His 79 speed may lead to him being more of a scrambler than a game manager, but in time his throwing ability should catch up to his running ability.
8. Norfolk SeaWolves – Killian Chambers, Wide Receiver
Archetype: Possession Receiver
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 200 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (79), Hands (71), Endurance (70)
Adding another receiver to their roster, the Norfolk SeaWolves only get stronger on offense. Chambers is a solid receiver, bottom line. With 99 TPE, he has raised his speed to 79, as well has having 71 for hands and 70 endurance. This combination makes him a reliable target in the passing game and the occasional deep ball threat as well. The user, charlit, has been quite active both on the forums and within locker rooms. The SeaWolves get themselves a dependable receiver and a dedicated user.
1. Portland Pythons – Zach Crossley, Wide Receiver
Archetype: Route Runner
Height: 5’8”
Weight: 176 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (80), Hands (72), Agility (70)
Another receiver off the board, the first for the Portland Pythons this draft. Zach Crossley is a similar specimen to the previous pick, Killian Chambers. A hair slower, he has slightly better hands and a bit more wiggle to throw off opposing DB’s. Also at 99 TPE, Crossley is earning consistently and is on his way to developing into a number one receiver.
2. Minnesota Grey Ducks – Gary Goodman, Linebacker
Archetype: Speed Rusher
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 240 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (70), Speed (70), Agility (68)
The linebacker position is certainly one of the deeper ones in this draft class and the Minnesota Grey Ducks snag a good one in Gary Goodman. With only two linebackers rostered, Goodman will step in and fill the third linebacker slot. He is at 99 TPE overall and earning steadily. He has the ideal skillset for a speed rusher with equal speed and strength and some finesse moves thrown in as well. Do not be surprised this season if you see Goodman on the stat sheet racking up TFL’s and sacks.
3. Myrtle Beach Buccaneers – Crayne Whebet, Wide Receiver
Archetype: Route Runner
Height: 5’9”
Weight: 180 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Agility (70), Speed (70), Hands (70), Endurance (70)
Like the linebacker position, the receiver position is also particularly deep this class. Crayne Whebet is similar to Chuck Roth in that I feel he has been flying under the radar for a lot of teams. Despite not being entirely active within team locker rooms, Crayne still has amassed 92 TPE, keeping all that he has earned banked. If you’re a scout for a team, you have to appreciate when players do that as it gives you the flexibility to fit them into your offense in multiple ways. Crayne is a dedicated receiver who is a jack of all trades, but master of none with his equal agility, speed, hands, and endurance. If you are looking for a guy who can step in and produce on any offense, this is your man. Solid selection by the Buccaneers.
4. Tijuana Luchadores – Marlon Alexander, Offensive Lineman
Archetype: Run Blocker
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 340 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (80), Run Blocking (75), Pass Blocking (60)
As I said before, bolstering the offensive line is never a bad idea. The Luchadores, with only one offensive lineman currently rostered, choose to do exactly that with their selection of Marlon Alexander. Mr. Alexander has 98 TPE total, a very respectable amount. With 80 strength and 75 run blocking, he fits his archetype well. What is most notable about this prospect though is his user, platanocat. He is arguably one of the most active users within the London Royals’ locker room, and clearly dedicated to the league. Tijuana gets a great player and great user with their seventh-round selection.
5. London Royals – Owen Isaac, Defensive End
Archetype: Power Rusher
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 290 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (72), Speed (70), Endurance (66)
I will be honest with you readers. This pick was supposed to be a defensive tackle as the Royals currently have no true DT’s on their roster. However, taking a look at the remaining DT’s, almost all of them are at 65 TPE or lower. So, what do the Royals do? Take the best remaining defensive end and position swap him. While Owen Isaac might need to put on a few pounds, he certainly has the attributes to make the transition. 72 strength combined with 70 speed will make him effective in the trenches.
6. Dallas Birddogs – Adam Mellott, Offensive Lineman
Archetype: Pass Blocker
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 330 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (75), Pass Blocking (75), Run Blocking (70)
With this pick, the Dallas Birddogs have replaced their two 50 TPE overall linemen with two hopefully more active ones. Adam Mellott is a good-sized pass blocking lineman. With 75 strength, 75 pass blocking, and 70 run blocking, he already has a solid foundation for the makings of a quality hog molly. If he continues to earn at this steady pace, he will be at the ISFL level in no time.
7. Kansas City Coyotes – Sam Roes, Defensive End
Archetype: Balanced
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 281 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (74), Strength (70), Endurance (68)
If you want to know what I think of this pick, scroll 2 picks up to the London Royals selection of Owen Isaac. Exact same situation here, just that the Dallas Birddogs do have a true defensive tackle rostered. Sam Roes has a modest 79 TPE total, but he is active on the forums at the very least and should continue to earn. Again, like Own Isaac for the Royals, the transition to DT for Roes should be an easy one. Just need to maybe visit Cheesecake Factory twice a week.
8. Norfolk SeaWolves – Jackie Daytona, Quarterback
Archetype: Game Manager
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 230 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Arm (70), Intelligence (70), Throwing Accuracy (70)
The Norfolk SeaWolves won the Ultimini this season with 607 TPE quarterback Suleiman Ramza at the helm. Whether or not he will be called up to the ISFL remains to be seen, but the SeaWolves needed to draft his replacement sooner rather than later. Enter Jackie Daytona. Daytona is a recreate from dedicated user Mooty99. With 100 total TPE, Daytona seems to be more of a pure passer as compared to Owen Holloway, boasting 70’s in arm strength, accuracy, and intelligence. Planning for the future is planning for success and Norfolk has done just that with this selection.
1. Portland Pythons – Clay Stallworth, Offensive Lineman
Archetype: Technician
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 320 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (76), Intelligence (75), Pass Blocking (70)
The Portland Pythons finally address the fact that they have no offensive linemen rostered with this selection. Clay Stallworth is an 89 TPE overall technician. The archetype is fitting as he is one of the most intelligent offensive linemen in the draft. Couple that with his 76 strength, and you get a strong player who can make blocking adjustments on the fly. For this late in the draft, this is great value.
2. Minnesota Grey Ducks – T.J. Evans, Wide Receiver
Archetype: Possession Receiver
Height: 5’11”
Weight: 195 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (76), Hands (70), Endurance (65)
Having drafted one receiver already with their first-round selection, Minnesota decides to double dip in the eighth round. With 81 TPE, T.J. Evans is a serviceable number two receiver. 76 speed is a bit slow, but he is a possession guy, not necessarily a burner. So long as he keeps earning his TPE, Evans should be an effective player for the Ducks this season.
3. Myrtle Beach Buccaneers – Clay Clark, Cornerback
Archetype: Man to Man
Height: 5’9”
Weight: 199 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (72), Agility (71), Intelligence (60)
Myrtle Beach adds another corner to their roster, second of this draft and fourth in total. With one corner either a bot or inactive (hard to tell), Clay Clark should slide into the nickel corner slot easily. Though not the fastest cornerback, Clark shows promise. With 79 TPE total, he is slowly but surely improving.
4. Tijuana Luchadores – Buster Bawlls
Archetype: Blocking Back
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 250 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (70), Endurance (70), Speed (65)
The Tijuana Luchadores select the only fullback in the draft, Buster Bawlls. Some may argue that this is a little high for a fullback. Others may ask why they are even drafting a fullback at all. I, however, think this pick is perfectly logical. The Luchadores have Crowbar Theeks as their main back. By adding Buster Bawlls, it not only allows Theeks to have a lead blocker through the hole, but it also provides them with flexibility on offense as opposing defenses now have to consider two-back sets or swing passes out of the backfield. Buster Bawlls has 87 TPE, the most of any of the remaining running backs on the board. With 70 strength and endurance, Bawlls just needs to improve his blocking a little bit to be a true fullback.
5. London Royals – Henry Grant, Defensive End
Archetype: Balanced
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 285 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (72), Strength (70), Endurance (70)
As I said earlier in this draft, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, this time talking about London drafting defensive ends to play defensive tackle for them. At a modest 67 TPE, Grant is tied for the highest TPE total of all remaining defensive lineman. If we look specifically at the defensive tackles, it is even uglier with none of them having more than 57 TPE. Grant’s attributes are solid at least, and with a little TLC he could blossom in a solid DT.
6. Dallas Birddogs – Jimi Desoto, Linebacker
Archetype: Coverage Linebacker
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 230 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (75), Agility (70), Endurance (65)
While other teams are going need, the Birddogs go value, and getting an 89 TPE player towards the end of the 8th round is fantastic value. While they already have three linebackers on their roster, including the infamous Richard ‘Dick’ Leaking they drafted in the 5th round, Jimi Desoto will likely see playing time in either 3-4 defensive packages or ones on passing downs. A coverage linebacker, Desoto has the attributes to match. His 75 speed should allow him to play zone effectively against receivers over the middle. Though his role is not entirely clear yet, the value just could not be passed up here for Dallas.
7. Kansas City Coyotes – Xmus Flaxon Jaxon-Waxon, Safety
Archetype: Center Fielder
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 205 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (82), Endurance (72), Agility (70)
Taking a cursory look at the Coyotes roster, I can see that they have six defensive backs. However, looking a little more closely, I notice that two thirds of them have not been active in a month or more. Numbers can be deceiving folks. This is why picking Xmus Flaxon Jaxon-Waxon, or XFJW for short, makes sense here. Whether the Coyotes keep him at safety or move him to corner is up to them. Either way they only have one active player at each of those positions. As I said about another draftee, XFJW reminds me of Tayshawn Crunk. Fast, center fielder safety who has the potential to be a ballhawk on the field. With 82 speed he is a sideline to sideline safety. Grabbing an 82 TPE player here is great value almost halfway through the draft.
8. Norfolk SeaWolves – Terry Tate, (Office) Linebacker
Archetype: Speed Rusher
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 255 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (70), Speed (70), Agility (65)
The SeaWolves locker room is starting to get a little crowded with some many bodies on the roster. Since they have pretty much all the holes in the submarine plugged, they can afford to take best player available here. While the pickings are getting slim at many positions, there is still value to be found at linebacker, and Terry Tate brings the value. With 89 TPE total and 49 of it banked, Tate is a blank slate waiting to dominate. Very much similar to the Dallas Birddogs’ selection of Jimi Desoto, the SeaWolves will have to find a place for Tate on the field. Regardless, another great value pick to end the round.
1. Portland Pythons – Joe Show, Offensive Lineman
Archetype: Athletic Lineman
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 340 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (80), Run Blocking (70), Pass Blocking (70)
Portland took an offensive lineman last round – and were the only team to do so by the way – so they figured why not do it again? Joe Show is a 75 TPE offensive lineman with pretty respectable attributes for the 9th round. Like many other draftees I have talked about, Joe Show has a strong base of 80 strength and equal run and pass blocking abilities; things can only go up from here, provided he stays active.
2. Minnesota Grey Ducks – Cleg Manclaw, Tight End
Archetype: Blocking
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 260 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Endurance (65), Hands (62), Run Blocking (60)
The Minnesota Grey Ducks use this opportunity to pick up a second tight end. Cleg Manclaw. The only blocking archetype in his class, Cleg hardly has the stats to show for it. I believe he has chosen to bank his 19 earned TPE of his 69 total, hence the low stats. Regardless, if he can stay active and earn at a modest rate, he should serve the Ducks as their number two tight end simply fine.
3. Myrtle Beach Buccaneers – Hank Sakner, Defensive End
Archetype: Power Rusher
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 290 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (74), Speed (65), Endurance (65)
We really are starting to reach the bottom of the barrel with defensive line folks. Hank Sakner was 67 TPE total, with 74 strength being the highlight here. Seems this user came out of the gate strong but has been inactive for almost two weeks now. Regardless, He will serve as the Bucs second defensive end on the roster.
4. Tijuana Luchadores – Mark Walker, Wide Receiver
Archetype: Route Runner
Height: 5’11”
Weight: 185 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (76), Agility (70), Hands (65)
Despite having two receivers that are both over 330 TPE, the Tijuana Luchadores use this pick to select a third one. Mark Walker has 68 TPE and fortunately seems to have applied all of it. While his hands could use improvement, 76 speed is serviceable, and 70 agility is not too shabby either. User deadlunatic was active just a few days ago so do not consider this a throwaway pick for the Luchadores. You never know when someone could be the next 1,300 TPE receiver.
5. London Royals – Ben Anabender, Cornerback
Archetype: Zone
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 170 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (75), Agility (60), Intelligence (60)
The Royals roster is solid pretty much all around. The one position I noticed they were still lacking at this point in the draft was a nickel corner. Fortunately for them, Ben Anabender was still on the board. With 81 total TPE, but his 31 earned TPE banked, Anabender is a raw corner. His base speed of 75 is adequate but certainly could be improved upon. However, for this late in the draft, the Royals could have done much, much worse.
6. Dallas Birddogs – Flap N’Chick, Tight End
Archetype: Balanced
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 259 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Endurance (70), Speed (60), Hands (60)
Dallas, like many teams before them, adds a second tight end to their roster. Talk about long train running, Flap N’Chick’s highest attribute is endurance. The 69 total TPE prospect may not be fast or have the best hands, but he can run for days. Fortunately for the Birddogs, this user was active just yesterday, at least at the time of writing. Here’s to hoping he stays active and can be of service to the team.
7. Kansas City Coyotes – Wasrabi Gleel, Linebacker
Archetype: Power Rusher
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 265 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (73), Strength (70), Tackling (70)
With this pick, the Coyotes will now have 6 (six!) linebackers on their roster. That being said, the value here late in the 9th round is simply too good to pass up. Seriously, an 84 TPE player in the 9th round? This is one of the best value picks of the draft. The user was active just a few days ago and has put out media on the forums. If he stays active, the value of this selection will only grow. Having too many quality players is a problem Kansas City will gladly accept.
8. Norfolk SeaWolves – Marc Hamel, Offensive Lineman
Archetype: Technician
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 340 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (75), Pass Blocking (70), Run Blocking (70)
At this point in the draft, teams should really disregard needs and just start picking best player available. Marc Hamel is certainly one of the best remaining players this far into the draft. With 75 total TPE, he has chosen to bank all of it – no problem there. His attributes provide a great foundation to build up from, and like I have said before, bolstering your lines are never a bad idea. Norfolk picking the best of whoever is left in the player pool.
**CONTINUED IN THE REPLIES**
Trying to post the second half as a reply to this thread but having issues. Stay tuned
Round 1
Round 2
Round 3
Round 4
Round 5
Round 6
Round 7
Round 8
Round 9
Stay tuned
