Round 10
1. Portland Pythons – Bronko Mills, Running Back
Archetype: Power Back
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 245 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (79), Strength (71), Endurance (70)
Half of the running backs taken in the draft thus far have gone to the Pythons (that would be two of them). Despite the modest TPE total of 70, I feel that this is a steal for the Pythons. Bronko Mills is a recreate player from user PaytonM34 who has been around the league since December of 2017. To get a player with this unquestionable level of commitment this late in the draft is amazing. The TPE will come, just give them time. In regard to roster construction, Bronko will slide in as the second string running back for the Pythons. Depth at all positions is crucial, but especially at running back.
2. Minnesota Grey Ducks – Dexter Jackson, Linebacker
Archetype: Speed Rusher
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 240 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (70), Tackling (70), Strength (65)
I said it earlier and I will say it again: linebacker is arguably the deepest position group in this class and this pick certainly supports it. Dexter Jackson will be the Grey Ducks fourth linebacker, so they will have to be creative with how they use him. Jackson is a recreate from user KrillaScrilla, active on the forums since mid-June of 2019. My points made in the previous post are still valid here. Long time users give team GM’s peace of mind in regard to staying active. Despite the modest TPE total of 71, Jackson will develop in time.
3. Myrtle Beach Buccaneers – Stephon Trummer
Archetype: Balanced
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 255 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (73), Hands (67), Endurance (65)
The Myrtle Beach Buccaneers follow the trend by adding a second tight end to their roster. The tight end draftee from Germany has 69 total TPE – nice. He unfortunately has not been active in over a week. And that’s about it for this one…
4. Tijuana Luchadores – Leo Bloomfield, Kicker/Punter
Archetype: Accurate
Height: 5’8”
Weight: 160 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Kick Accuracy (80), Kick Power (72), Endurance (65)
It is the middle of the 10th round. The night is dark. The prospect pipelines have run dry. All is looking grim for the Tijuana Luchadores. They may have to draft a fourth defensive linemen. They are about to accept their fate when suddenly, a thunderous kick bursts down the war room door, ripping it off its hinges. The GM can only see a silhouette backlit by a blinding light. The light quickly fades and the silhouette steps forward, revealing themselves. It is Leo Bloomfield, the second-best kicker/punter in this draft. The Tijuana Luchadores immediately rush the pick in. There is much rejoicing. The world is saved.
On a more serious note, Mr. Bloomfield is an 81 TPE kicker who is regularly active both on the forums and on Discord. The Luchadores currently do not have a kicker/punter on their roster, and given how late into the draft they are, this pick makes sense. Another great value selection here.
5. London Royals – Terry Yaki, Running Back
Archetype: Speed Back
Height: 5’8”
Weight: 195 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (80), Endurance (70), Agility (65)
Aside from their 5th and 6th round picks, the Royals have gone all defense this draft. They decide to change it up and take a running back. While the Royals already have 200+ TPE and 300+ TPE running backs, having a third back for depth is never a bad idea. Terry Yaki stands at 69 TPE thus far. They have not been active for a few days unfortunately, but if they do come back, the Royals will have a serviceable backup.
6. Dallas Birddogs – Jack Burton, Kicker/Punter
Archetype: Balanced
Height: 5’11”
Weight: 198 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Kick Power (75), Kick Accuracy (72), Endurance (65)
Not wanting to risk having to use a bot at the kicker/punter positions, the Dallas Birddogs select the last one from this year’s draft. Jack Burton is the lowest of the three in terms of TPE at 62. However, he has been fairly active and has the beginnings of a solid kicker. Decent pick for the Dogs.
7. Kansas City Coyotes – Bob Roberts, Safety
Archetype: Playmaker
Height: 5’10”
Weight: 205 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (71), Agility (71), Endurance (65)
At this point in the draft, the Coyotes could almost divide their roster in half and field another complete team. Having ample bodies at every position, they elect to go with one of the higher TPE totals remaining in Bob Roberts. Roberts is a 76 TPE safety with modest stats. Let’s be honest, almost nobody at this point in the draft is going to be a homerun pick. That being said, Roberts is a fine selection – decent TPE total, relatively active, that’s all you can really ask for at this point.
8. Norfolk SeaWolves – Teddy Utterstruzen, Safety
Archetype: Run Support
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 225 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (70), Tackling (70), Endurance (70)
Continuing the safety trend, the SeaWolves add a backup one to their roster. Coming in at 75 TPE, Teddy Utterstruzen is an evenly balanced safety in terms of ability. Similar to the Kansas City Coyotes, the SeaWolves roster is stacked with bodies. How they come up with a way to get Teddy involved is yet to be seen, but they’re just glad to snag a decent player this late in the draft
Round 11
1. Portland Pythons – Caleb Judge, Linebacker
Archetype: Balanced
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 236 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (70), Tackling (70), Speed (70)
The Pythons add a fourth linebacker to their roster. Judge has a meager 67 TPE and also has all of it banked. He does have solid starting stats for a linebacker though. A newer recruit, Judge seems to be active since signing up, so that is always a plus especially for a late round pick.
On a separate note, just to show how deep the linebacker position is this year, Judge is (if my counts are right) the 11th linebacker taken in this draft. His TPE is still in the mid to high 60’s. For comparison, all of the remaining QB’s, DT’s, and RB’s are in the 50’s. Maybe this is how it is every year, but I thought that was an interesting bit of data.
2. Minnesota Grey Ducks – Sory An’Tyler, Wide Receiver
Archetype: Speed Receiver
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 205 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (81), Agility (65), Endurance (60)
The Grey Ducks pick their third receiver in the draft with 67 TPE Sory An’Tyler. A very recent create (created 8/1), An’Tyler is actually a recreate. Despite getting a late start on earning TPE, they have taken advantage of every opportunity to do so. At this stage in the draft, you are looking not only for decent TPE totals, but also activity. Activity gives rise to more TPE. Can’t gain TPE if you’re inactive *taps temple and looks at camera*. An’Tyler is pure speed with 81 – surprisingly fast for an 11th round player. If they stay active and shore up their catching ability, this could be a great pickup for the Ducks.
3. Myrtle Beach Buccaneers – Matty Martinsson, Linebacker
Archetype: Balanced
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 238 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Tackling (70), Speed (70), Endurance (70)
Adding a fourth linebacker to their roster, the Bucs take Matty Martinsson. 63 TPE is about what you would expect for this point in the draft. A fairly recent create (7/28), he has banked all of his TPE like several others. Solid foundation in his attributes, just need to see him be active to be successful.
4. Tijuana Luchadores – Jeeeeroy Lenkins, Cornerback
Archetype: Man to Man
Height: 5’11”
Weight: 190 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (78), Hands (60), Endurance (55)
Jeeeeroy Lenkins finds is the newest Luchador and will serve as their nickel corner. Another late create (7/28), Lenkins is a pretty fast dude, a good skill to have in his position. While his other skills are lacking, his activity shows promise as he has 70 TPE total.
5. London Royals – Dakota Grossman, Wide Receiver
Archetype: Red Zone Threat Receiver
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 220 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Hands (71), Endurance (65), Speed (63)
The only red zone threat receiver in this class, Dakota Grossman is now a member of the London Royals. Slotting in as their fourth wide receiver, Grossman has 63 TPE to his name. Speaking of his name, he is certainly living up to it through his attributes. I understand he is a red zone threat archetype, but only 63 speed for a receiver. Gross, man.
6. Dallas Birddogs – Milk Mann, Safety
Archetype: Run Support
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 220 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (76), Endurance (70), 3 tied at 60
The absolute, number one, undisputed sleeper of the draft. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Milk Mann, the 94 (NINETY-FOUR!!!!!) TPE safety. This man is so much of a sleeper that even I missed him in the earlier rounds of this mock. Well congratulations Dallas, you needed a second safety and Mr. Mann just happened to fall into your laps. I never claimed that this would be the most realistic mock draft.
7. Kansas City Coyotes – Duncan Donuts, Offensive Lineman
Archetype: Run Blocker
Height: 6’7”
Weight: 340 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (80), Run Blocking (75), Intelligence (60), Endurance (60)
Kansas City adds a third offensive lineman this draft. Duncan Donuts is at 66 TPE with strong arms and good footwork in the run game. At 340 pounds, one has to wonder if Dunkin Donuts gave him free donuts for life due to his name and he simply took advantage of that since being able to walk. Duncan’s user is still active, believe it or not, having posted to their update page on 7/31. If they stay active, this could be a steal for the Coyotes, especially this far into the draft.
8. Norfolk SeaWolves – Mason Gillion, Cornerback
Archetype: Man to Man
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 195 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (75), Agility (72), Endurance (60)
The SeaWolves, somehow, continue to find decent value even this late in the draft. Mason Gillion will technically be the fourth corner for Norfolk, though one of the corners ahead of him has been inactive since 6/21. Speaking of being inactive, Gillion is not, having posted 5 days ago at the time of writing. With 75 speed and 72 agility, he could see playing time in nickel and dime packages.
Round 12
1. Portland Pythons – Jake Sackson, Defensive End
Archetype: Balanced
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 300 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (76), Endurance (65), Strength (60)
So if you are still reading, remember what I said about safety Milk Mann just a few picks ago? Yeah well forget all that. This dude right here is, somehow, an even BIGGER sleeper than Milk Mann. Jake Sackson will immediately step into a starting defensive end role for the Pythons with his, wait for it…97 TPE. You read that right folks. In the last two days or so, user goodvsevil1275 has become active and purchased T6 equipment for Mr. Sackson giving him a huge TPE boost over the rest of the field. Another sneaky player who flew well under my radar, Portland gets lucky with this one.
2. Minnesota Grey Ducks – Ninton Quelson, Offensive Lineman
Archetype: Technician
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 330 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (72), Run Blocking (70), Pass Blocking (70), Endurance (70)
In the 12th round of the draft, the Grey Ducks take their first offensive lineman in the form of Ninton Quelson. At 69 TPE, this is surprisingly decent value for this late in the draft. While he has not allocated any of this TPE, he has a very solid core of stats to work from. Quelson should see time in the starting lineup this season.
3. Myrtle Beach Buccaneers – Hank Antilles, Offensive Lineman
Archetype: Athletic Lineman
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 340 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (77), Pass Blocking (70), Run Blocking (70)
Myrtle Beach follows suit and also selects an offensive lineman, their second of the draft. You might not know Hank, but you definitely know his great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, grandfather Wedge Antilles, famous for his participation in the Battle of Yavin and destruction of the first death star. While Hank is not a hotshot X-Wing pilot, he is a decent offensive lineman (almost as good, right?). Coming in at 65 TPE total, Antilles has a decent start on his stats. Whether or not he can come back and be active remains to be seen.
4. Tijuana Luchadores – Dean McBean, Linebacker
Archetype: Balanced
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 240 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (70), Tackling (70), Endurance (70)
With this addition the Luchadores now have a total of four linebackers rostered. The linebacker class this year is deep, but it is not THAT deep. Mr. McBean has a modest 61 TPE and has not been seen in over 2 weeks unfortunately. Regardless, depth is never a bad thing and the sim does not care whether you are active in real life or not.
5. London Royals – Matt Peterson, Quarterback
Archetype: Mobile
Height: 5’11”
Weight: 210 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Arm (70), Throwing Accuracy (70), Intelligence (65), Speed (65)
Every team needs backups, especially at the quarterback position. While the Royals are hoping Charlemagne Cortez never goes down (which he won’t because it’s the sim and there are no injuries), if by some miracle he does, enter Matt Peterson. Peterson is a 60 TPE recreate from user Peterson. A decent base to build up from, Peterson will need to be more active if he hopes to develop.
6. Dallas Birddogs – Willy Weasel, Wide Receiver
Archetype: Route Runner
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 212 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (79), Agility (70), Hands (61)
Believe it or not, Willy Weasel will slide into the Birddogs lineup as just their third receiver. A 67 TPE player, Weasel has pretty decent speed for this late in the draft. He was active just a few days ago so that has to be encouraging to Dallas.
7. Kansas City Coyotes – Crozier McCoy, Defensive End
Archetype: Balanced
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 300 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (70), Speed (70), Endurance (65)
The Coyotes select a rotational defensive end in Crozier McCoy. This guy might need to find somewhere else to have his locker because the locker room is packed for Kansas City. With only 57 TPE, McCoy is tied with several other defensive lineman left. Largely inactive, let’s hope he comes back.
8. Norfolk SeaWolves – Troy Watson, Defensive End
Archetype: Speed Rusher
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 270 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (68), Strength (60), Agility (60), Tackling (60), Endurance (60)
The SeaWolves, technically, draft their first defensive linemen of the draft. Though Watson is a higher TPE player at 69 than previous pick Crozier McCoy, his attributes are objectively worse. However, the SeaWolves could use defensive line depth and the board dictated they take Watson here.
Round 13
1. Portland Pythons – Hugh McGree, Offensive Lineman
Archetype: Athletic Lineman
Height: 6’6”
Weight: 325 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (77), Pass Blocking (70), Run Blocking (70)
Hugh McGree, come on down! You’re the next contestant on “Building an Offensive Line”. Hugh is the third offensive lineman taken by the Pythons this draft. A 65 TPE player, he has fine stats for this far into the draft. Cannot ask for much more really.
2. Minnesota Grey Ducks – King Tutankhamun, Running Back
Archetype: Speed Back
Height: 5’8”
Weight: 195 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (82), Endurance (70), Agility (55)
We’ve had one running back, yes, but what about second running back? The Grey Ducks take King Tutankhamun, a recreate from user WALDO. Despite only having 63 TPE, I think this is a great pick. WALDO has been around the site since early October of 2018, so you know the TPE will come, albeit slowly. 82 speed is also a great attribute to have, especially as a 13th round running back. The Grey Ducks find value here late in the draft.
3. Myrtle Beach Buccaneers – Alexander Johnson, Wide Receiver
Archetype: Speed Receiver
Height: 5’9”
Weight: 175 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (80), Agility (65), Endurance (60)
The Bucs take a fourth wide receiver with their selection here of Alexander Johnson. A 62 TPE speed receiver, Johnson has 80 speed working for him More importantly, though, is that he was active just a few days ago. There is still hope for this one in Myrtle Beach.
4. Tijuana Luchadores – Connor Quigley, Offensive Lineman
Archetype: Run Blocker
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 340 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Run Blocking (75), Strength (72), Intelligence (65)
The second offensive lineman taken for Tijuana in this draft, Quigley is a 69 TPE player. I know they say that human offensive line players are better than bots, but does this hold true if they are inactive? I guess we will find out.
5. London Royals – Bill Brasky, Kicker/Punter
Archetype: Unknown (lol)
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 230 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Kick Power (75), Kick Accuracy (70), Endurance (65)
I know I said earlier that there were only three kicker/punter prospects in this class. Well things were a little mercurial regarding Mr. Brasky over here. Originally creating as a quarterback, but then switching to kicker/punter on his update page, Brasky has 68 TPE to his name. He was actually active just a few days ago (6/30) so there may be still be hope that he can come back and kick game winners for the Royals.
6. Dallas Birddogs – Naman Fletcher, Cornerback
Archetype: All-Around
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 210 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Agility (70), Speed (70), Endurance (65)
Dallas tries to get value where they can find it. Fletcher is a 65 TPE cornerback and will slot in as the Birddogs’ nickel corner it seems. Another seemingly inactive player.
7. Kansas City Coyotes – Steven Wadham, Safety
Archetype: Playmaker
Height: 5’11”
Weight: 205 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Agility (70), Endurance (69), Speed (68)
The Coyotes, despite having more than enough bodies on the team, go with the highest TPE player left on the board. Steven Wadham has a meager 65 TPE. What he does have going for him though is activity. A fairly recent create, Steven posted his update page just two days ago (8/1). Kansas City’s flier just might pay off this time.
8. Norfolk SeaWolves – Lebby Newton, Wide Receiver
Archetype: Possession Receiver
Height: 5’11”
Weight: 190 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Hands (75), Speed (71), Endurance (65)
The 3rd receiver taken by Norfolk in this draft, bringing their roster total to 5. I guess if you want to run 5 wide sets, you are going to need 5 wide receivers, right? Newton has been active since joining on June 22nd, God rest his soul.
Round 14
1. Portland Pythons – Dart Ragusa, Tight End
Archetype: Possession
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 245 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Hands (70), Endurance (65), Speed (60)
Dart Ragusa, despite not having an update page, should have 63 TPE based on his activity. One of only two possession tight end archetypes in the class, Ragusa has hands as his top attribute. He slots in as Portland’s third tight end, giving them some flexibility in the running game.
2. Minnesota Grey Ducks – D'Brickashaw Minshew Sr., Safety
Archetype: Playmaker
Height: 6’0”
Weight: 205 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (70), Agility (70), Endurance (70)
The Minnesota Grey Ducks select D'Brickashaw Minshew Sr., the player (not just safety, player) with the highest remaining TPE total on the board. That number would be 62. However, I have to give points to this guy just on his name alone. Whether he will actually contribute to the Grey Ducks, nobody can say. But having D'Brickashaw Minshew Sr. printed on a nameplate above your locker has to be quite the sight.
3. Myrtle Beach Buccaneers – Jake Woodhead, Tight End
Archetype: Possession
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 255 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Hands (65), Endurance (65), 3 tied at 55
Second tight end drafted by the Bucs, third on the roster, 57 TPE player, inactive. NEEEEEEEEEXXXT!
4. Tijuana Luchadores – Brandon Kirwin, Wide Receiver
Archetype: Route Runner
Height: 6’0”
Weight: 205 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (70), Hands (70), Agility (70)
At 52 TPE, Brandon Kirwin at least did SOMETHING before going inactive. The Luchadores take him to be their fourth wide receiver. At the very least, he has serviceable base stats.
5. London Royals – Curtis Blackshear, Cornerback
Archetype: Man to Man
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 203 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (80), Agility (70), Endurance (60)
The highest remaining TPE total on the board, Curtis Blackshear definitely does not fill any need for the Royals. But drafting a guy with 80 speed in the 14th round is the closest thing to a homerun pick that we will see.
6. Dallas Birddogs – Abdul-Jabbar Abid, Defensive End
Archetype: Power Rusher
Height: 6’6”
Weight: 290 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (75), Strength (65), Endurance (65)
Dallas adds depth to their defensive line with this pick, a 57 TPE defensive end. He was active a week ago so there is a glimmer of hope at least. On a separate note completely, why do power rusher archetypes start with 75 speed but 65 strength? Shouldn’t that be swapped? I am sure someone more experienced than me has a logical explanation for it, I just like to think out loud sometimes.
7. Kansas City Coyotes – Scott Mastro, Wide Receiver
Archetype: Route Runner
Height: 5’8”
Weight: 175 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (70), Agility (70), Hands (70), Endurance (70)
There it is folks, the first 50 TPE total player off the board. Scott is also the last wide receiver in the draft. He will be 5th on the depth chart for the Kansas City Coyotes.
8. Norfolk SeaWolves – Trent Blackburn, Quarterback
Archetype: Pocket Passer
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 225 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Throwing Accuracy (75), Intelligence (70), Arm (69)
Just as the Coyotes took the last receiver off the board previous picks, the Dallas Birddogs select the last quarterback in the class. Trent Blackburn is a 58 TPE quarterback. Projected usage includes handing the ball off to running backs when Suleiman Ramza gets tired and holding a clipboard on the sideline.
Round 15
1. Portland Pythons – Sterling Moss, Offensive Lineman
Archetype: Athletic Lineman
Height: 6’6”
Weight: 320 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (75), Pass Blocking (70), Run Blocking (70)
The Pythons have almost drafted an entire offensive line, making this their 4th lineman selected in this draft. Sterling Moss was most recently active on twitter, sending his last tweet on 7/30 (EDIT: As of 12:41 PM on 8/3, Sterling Moss is active in the DSFL rookie Discord). He has solid stats to start out with, so maybe the 59 TPE lineman can come back and be active for Portland.
2. Minnesota Grey Ducks – Smitty McGhee, Offensive Lineman
Archetype: Run Blocker
Height: 6’6”
Weight: 333 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Run Blocking (80), Strength (70), Intelligence (65)
Make it back to back picks of offensive linemen. Smitty, like Sterling Moss, also has 59 TPE. Unlike Sterling Moss, though, Mr. McGhee has not been active in over a week. I guess one bright spot is his 80 run blocking. The ground game is very prevalent in the DSFL so 80 run blocking should make an impact on any team.
3. Myrtle Beach Buccaneers – Chris Callahan, Safety
Archetype: Center Fielder
Height: 5’10”
Weight: 180 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (75), Agility (70), Endurance (70)
The Bucs take a shot at the last safety on the board. With 57 TPE, Chris Callahan and the rest of the safeties should be proud as they were one of only two position groups with no 50 TPE players (the other position group being quarterback).
4. Tijuana Luchadores – Gabr Spladle, Tight End
Archetype: Possession Tight End
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 240 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Hands (70), Endurance (70), Speed (55), Intelligence (55)
The Luchadores take 57 TPE tight end Gabr Spladle. He will be the third tight end on the Luchadores roster. Yep.
5. London Royals – Julian Joseph, Tight End
Archetype: Balanced
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 255 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Endurance (65), Hands (63), Strength (55), Speed (55)
The Royals, seeing the Luchadores’ previous pick, decide to follow suit and draft a tight end as well. They must have liked that idea. Either that or the writer of this mock draft is getting lazy with his selections. Julian Joseph, 50 TPE tight end, inactive, F’s in chat.
6. Dallas Birddogs – Elijah Torres, Cornerback
Archetype: Man to Man
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 205 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (71), Endurance (70), Agility (70)
Dallas takes yet another defensive back, bringing their roster total to 9. Elijah Torres is actually a recreate from user Toasty, so it is a little surprising to see him this low down the list with only 57 TPE total. As a recreate, I feel there is a higher change inherently of the user coming back and being active, so this could be a solid choice for Dallas in the long run.
7. Kansas City Coyotes – Frankie Lantz, Running Back
Archetype: Speed Back
Height: 5’10”
Weight: 200 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (80), Endurance (70), Agility (65)
The Coyotes have taken almost every other position in this draft, so why not add a running back into the mix? The last running back in the class, Frankie Lantz stands at the bare minimum 50 TPE. At least he has 80 speed.
8. Norfolk SeaWolves – Bonifacius van den Huevel, Defensive Tackle
Archetype: Run Stuffer
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 310 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (71), Endurance (60), Agility (55)
The SeaWolves take their first defensive tackle in this draft. If the quality of your player name was worth TPE, this guy would have at least 150. Unfortunately, it is not, so he shall remain at 57 TPE until he becomes active again.
Round 16
1. Portland Pythons – Lugolor Gulogor, Cornerback
Archetype: All-Around
Height: 6’0”
Weight: 195 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (70), Agility (70), Intelligence (61)
The Pythons take just their second cornerback in the draft up until this point. At 57 TPE, this user has unfortunately not been active since the day they joined the site (7/20).
2. Minnesota Grey Ducks – Vick Vinegar, Defensive End
Archetype: Power Rusher
Height: 6’6”
Weight: 290 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (74), Speed (65), Endurance (60), Tackling (60)
In the 16th round, the Minnesota Grey Ducks take their first defensive end. Out of the three defensive ends still on the board prior to this pick, Vick Vinegar had the most TPE out of all them with a whopping 52. He has also been inactive since 7/20.
3. Myrtle Beach Buccaneers – Macho Weber, Offensive Lineman
Archetype: Athletic Lineman
Height: 6’6”
Weight: 329 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (77), Run Blocking (70), Pass Blocking (70)
The third offensive lineman drafted by Myrtle Beach and the fourth one rostered, Macho Weber comes in at 57 TPE. He has serviceable base attributes at least.
4. Tijuana Luchadores – Regius Goliathus, Linebacker
Archetype: Speed Rusher
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 255 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (65), Agility (60), Tackling (60), Endurance (60)
Another pick, another 57 TPE player. You guys know the drill by now.
5. London Royals – Kentdavion "Davie" Davis, Offensive Lineman
Archetype: Run Blocker
Height: 6’6”
Weight: 340 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Run Blocking (79), Strength (70), Pass Blocking (65)
The London Royals finally take their first offensive lineman in this draft in the 16th round. Coincidentally, Kentdavion "Davie" Davis is the last offensive lineman in this class. With 50 TPE and 1 total post on the forums, I think it’s safe to say that this user is inactive. But how about that 79 run blocking? That counts for something…right?
6. Dallas Birddogs – Colt Reinhorn, Tight End
Archetype: Balanced
Height: 6’6”
Weight: 240 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Endurance (65), Speed (60), Hands (60)
Dallas selects their second tight end this draft, third on their roster, and last at their position in this class. Colt Reinhorn sits at 50 TPE, and there he shall most likely stay.
7. Kansas City Coyotes – J.J.J. Shabadoo, Defensive Tackle
Archetype: Interior Rusher
Height: 6’0”
Weight: 310 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (70), Speed (60), Endurance (60)
Lots of teams drafting the first of a position here, and Kansas City is no different as they select their first defensive tackle of the draft. The 57 TPE J.J.J. Shabadoo seems to also be inactive since 7/20.
8. Norfolk SeaWolves – Daniel Bateman, Linebacker
Archetype: Balanced
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 240 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (70), Tackling (70), Speed (70), Endurance (70)
Whether they need him or not, the SeaWolves take linebacker Daniel Bateman. At 57 TPE, he has not spent any of the 7 that he has earned. Honestly though, not bad stats for this late in the draft.
Round 17
1. Portland Pythons – Monkey D. Luffy, Defensive Tackle
Archetype: Nose Tackle
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 310 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (80), Endurance (60), Intelligence (45)
The Pythons started the draft with a defensive tackle (GOAT TANK), and they will almost end it with a defensive tackle. Monkey D. Luffy is a recreate from user TheWoZy. However, they do not have an update page created yet and thus stand at 50 TPE.
Could you imagine for a second an actual monkey playing defensive tackle? Like a full-grown, silverback gorilla? Good lord, you could just rush only him every play and drop the other 10 guys back into coverage. Unfortunately Monkey D. Luffy is a human, not a monkey. My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.
2. Minnesota Grey Ducks – Breezy Wallace, Cornerback
Archetype: Man to Man
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 212 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (70), Agility (70), Intelligence (65)
The second cornerback taken by the Grey Ducks this draft; Breezy Wallace has 57 TPE total. Like other inactive users, they have decent base attributes.
3. Myrtle Beach Buccaneers – Hunter Mantis, Defensive Tackle
Archetype: Interior Rusher
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 300 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (63), Strength (60), Endurance (60)
Hunter Mantis, a defensive tackle with 1 forum post and, you guessed it, 50 TPE. Moving along.
4. Tijuana Luchadores – LeDavious "Dave" Davis, Defensive Tackle
Archetype: Run Stuffer
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 310 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (70), Tackling (65), Endurance (60)
The Luchadores select LeDavious "Dave" Davis, defensive dackle, I mean tackle. The last defensive tackle in this draft class. “Dave” also has 50 TPE and no update page.
5. London Royals – Chad Thunder, Linebacker
Archetype: Balanced
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 250 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (70), Tackling (70), Endurance (70)
Chad Thunder, what a name. Going back to my commentary on defensive tackle Bonifacius van den Huevel, if names were worth TPE, Chad Thunder would deserve a bit. Sadly, he sits at 59 TPE. Decent attributes though.
6. Dallas Birddogs – Sack Daddy, Defensive End
Archetype: Power Rusher
Height: 6’4”
Weight: 290 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (70), Speed (70), Endurance (60)
Is there a correlation between joke names and inactivity? We would have to leave out GOAT TANK since he is a statistical outlier, but it makes one wonder. Another 50 TPE player, only six more to go.
7. Kansas City Coyotes – Lukas Hinsetzen, Cornerback
Archetype: Man to Man
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 195 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (75), Agility (70), Endurance (62)
No update page, but he should have 52 TPE if my calculations are correct (50+2). Another inactive, unfortunately.
8. Norfolk SeaWolves – Gavin Leclerc, Cornerback
Archetype: Zone
Height: 6’3”
Weight: 200 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (70), Agility (70), Intelligence (60)
Back to back cornerbacks, things are getting EXCITING at the end of the 17th round! Gavin Leclerc might actually be active. He does not have an update page, but he posted in activity check #166 and #167 just 2 days ago (8/1) and should be at 54 TPE total. Again, any signs of life in these later rounds is a huge plus to a prospect’s draft stock.
Round 18
1. Portland Pythons – Jeff Haraldson, Linebacker
Archetype: Power Rusher
Height: 6’2”
Weight: 255 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Tackling (70), Strength (69), Speed (66)
IT'S THE FINAL COUNTDOOOOOOOWWWWN! Portland takes their 3rd linebacker of the draft. 50 TPE, inactive. Thanks, Jeff.
2. Minnesota Grey Ducks – Jeffery Jefferson, Defensive End
Archetype: Power Rusher
Height: 6’6”
Weight: 285 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Strength (70), Speed (70), Endurance (70)
The Grey Ducks take the last defensive end off the board and close out their draft (50 TPE by the way).
3. Myrtle Beach Buccaneers – Gib McGlib, Linebacker
Archetype: Speed Rusher
Height: 6’5”
Weight: 245 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (78), Agility (60), Tackling (60), Endurance (60)
Wow, second to last pick and they still have 78 speed? Impressive. The Myrtle Beach Buccaneers finish their draft by taking the last linebacker in this class.
4. Tijuana Luchadores – Charlie Woody, Cornerback, MR. IRRELEVANT
Archetype: All-Around
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 205 lbs.
Top 3 Attributes: Speed (72), Agility (72), Intelligence (60), Endurance (60)
This is it you guys. The last pick in the draft. We finally made it. Are you as relieved as I am? With the final pick, the Tijuana Luchadores select Charlie Woody, cornerback with 50 TPE. What’s kind of funny is that the real Charles Woodson went number 4 overall in his draft class. Regardless, everyone in the draft must get selected, and selected they all have now been.
If you are reading this, I thank you for taking the time to look at my mock draft. This is a great community and I am so happy to have found it. See you all on draft night and best of luck.
