Week 7
QB - Sam Howitzer (POR, 2) - Offensive Performance of the Week - A stellar game from the Pythons star QB with four short touchdown passes and 0 ints as they put down the Birddogs 38-3
RB - Brian Mills (TIJ, 2) - Another big game from the DSFL rushing leader, going for 91 yards and a touchdown
RB - Crowbar Theeks (TIJ, 2) - I'm getting a bit tired of going on about these two. Tijuana have struck gold with their backfield this year. Theeks rushed for a cool 100 yards and a touchdown today.
WR - Joshua Campbell (KCC, 4) - Campbell is making a great case for WR of the year with his 4th TotW appearance. This one was courtesy of an 8 catch, 79 yard, 1 TD performance
WR - Apollo Reed (MBB) - Reed has been very efficient with his limited catches this year, catching 5 TDs on just 21 receptions. He bagged 2 today with 68 yards
TE - Dave Batista (POR, 2) - Batista picked up his second TD of the year as well as adding 3 pancakes while protecting Howitzer well
OL - Clay Stallworth (KCC, 3) - Stallworth broke the DSFL record for pancakes in a game with 13 this week. Unless he regresses significantly, Stallworth is by far the frontrunner for the OL of the Year nod.
OL - Chuck Roth (POR) - A nice game for the Portland offense. Roth added 7 pancakes and opened up the running lanes well for an efficient run game.
DL - Tex Wrecks (TIJ, 3) - Defensive Performance of the Week - Wrecks is having himself a really nice season, tying the TFL league lead by adding 4 more today. He also helped hold a usually decent Norfolk rushing game to just 3.4 YPC.
DL - Etrigan T. Slayer (POR) - Dallas couldn't get much going today as Slayer recorded 2 TFLs and a sack
DL - Arlington Heights (MBB, 3) - Heights also recorded 2 TFLs and a sack as Minnesota just couldn't move the ball against MB
LB - Gary Goodman (KCC) - Goodman had a nice game in KC's win with an interception, sacking the QB and adding 9 tackles
LB - Thomas Rose (KCC) - Rose sprang up to deflect 3 passes this week, as KC held Cortez to a 39% completion rate
LB - Busch Light (LON, 3) - Light was on the losing side this week, but a 14 tackle, 2 sack LB performance can't be ignored
LB - Tyrone Woods (MBB, 2) - Woods also had himself a nice day in MB's win with 11 tackles, one for a loss
CB - Mason Gillion (TIJ) - Perhaps the highlight of Gillion's season, he put the game out of reach with a 35 yard interception TD return at the end of the 3rd quarter
CB - James Hoffman (MBB, 3) - All together, the Bucs held the Grey Ducks to a dismal 3.4 YPA as Hoffman helped limit their best receiver to 3 touches and 27 yards.
S - Teddy Utterstruzen (MBB, 3) - The highlight of Teddy's game came in the 2nd quarter as he sacked the QB for a safety. Outside of that, he helped limit Minnesota to a longest play of just 14 yards
S - Joel Drake (POR) - Drake helped hold the Birddogs to 4.9 YPA as well as returning an interception 51 yards for a late score
K/P - Pseudo QB (POR, 4) - Pseudo QB converted all 5 of their extra points as well as drilling a huge 50 yarder early in the game
KR - Tre'Darius J'Vathon (LON) - J'Vathon logged an incredible 173 return yards this week, including an 86 yarder to rescue 3 points at the end of the first half
