Proposal for Other Ways to Earn TPE or Money
Hello,
My name is GraVTx and I think there are other ways for a character to earn TPE and money.
If you have ever played Madden, your character can gain experience in a couple of ways. One of the ways a character can earn experience is by predicting their stats for the upcoming season from 3 choices. I believe that this could be a nice way to earn TPE for players or potentially turn it into another Casino game. The 3 options available would be based on each individual’s output in the stat of their choosing from the season prior. Tier 1, rewarding 3 TPE, would be 75% (rounding down) to 99% of the previous season’s output. Tier 2, rewarding 5 TPE, would be 100% to 124%. Tier 3, rewarding 7 TPE, would be 125%+. I have no suggestion on how this should translate to the Casino, but I think it could be an option. Here are the statistics that I think should be allowed to use in this system based on each position.
QB-passing yards, passing TDs; (mobile archetype only) rushing yards, rushing TDs
RB-rushing yards, rushing TDs, return yards, return TDs
WR-receiving yards, receiving TDs, return yards, return TDs
TE-receiving yards, receiving TDs, pancakes
OL-pancakes
DT-tackles, tackles for loss, sacks, forced fumbles
DE-tackles, tackles for loss, sacks, forced fumbles
LB-tackles, tackles for loss, sacks, forced fumbles, interceptions
CB-tackles, tackles for loss, sacks, forced fumbles, interceptions
S-tackles, tackles for loss, sacks, forced fumbles, interceptions
K-extra points made, extra point percentage, field goals made, field goal percentage
P-punts inside 20, total punt yards
My other proposal is some sort of reward from setting/breaking records. This is a little less clear cut, as records vary in difficulty to break with some being straight-up impossible to break. For this reason, I believe that all records reward the same amount of TPE for being broken. How much is appropriate is difficult to decide, but I personally think 10 TPE is a fair amount to award for breaking an ISFL or DSFL record. Record-breaking performances are rare and should be celebrated, and I believe that this is a way to reward a player for breaking a record without making them overpowered.
I will address this right now: yes this proposal could be seen as self-serving, which is why I propose that I am exempt from being rewarded for any record(s) I break this season unless HO decides to retroactively award TPE. Let me know what you guys think, I am going to attempt to leave a poll attached to this.
