After an exciting night of double headers, the playoff spots are locked up in the SFC the only thing up for grabs there is homefield advantage. The NFC playoff spots are still open but it's looking pretty settled between Kansas City and London.
Here is a current look at the standings after Week 12.

Myrtle Beach Buccaneers: 6-6 *Eliminated

NFC

Minnesota Grey Ducks: 4-8
Items in parentheses were odds after Week 10.
SFC
Tijuana Luchadores - CLINCHED | Current Record: 9-3 (7-3) | Playoff Probability: 100% (100%) | Average Number of Wins: 9.7 (8.6)
Remaining Schedule
Week 13 - vs Portland
Week 14 - at Norfolk
My Take
With a convincing win over Minnesota and a come from behind victory against London the Luchadores locked themselves up a playoff spot. The defense is still playing lights out with their insane pass rush, getting 5 sacks against Minnesota and 3 against London. They currently hold down the #1 seed in the SFC. The division crown might be up for grabs in Week 14 when they go to visit Norfolk.
Norfolk Seawolves - CLINCHED| Current Record: 8-4 (6-4) | Playoff Probability: 100% (75%)| Average Number of Wins: 8.5 (7.8)
Remaining Schedule
Week 13 - vs London
Week 14 - at Tijuana
My Take
With wins over Myrtle Beach and Kansas City the Seawolves were able to clinch a playoff spot. Norfolk has followed the same game plan all season get up early and clamp down on the opposing offense. Norfolk still has a chance at winning the SFC Crown if they can beat both London and Tijuana in their final two games. A shot to defend their S24 Ultimini is within grasp.
Myrtle Beach Buccaneers - ELIMINATED | Current Record: 6-6 (5-5)| Playoff Probability: 0 (25%) | Average Number of Wins: 6.5 (6.8)
Remaining Schedule
Week 13 - at Dallas
Week 14 - vs Minnesota
My Take
Myrtle Beach needed a couple wins and some Norfolk losses to hang in the playoff hunt but they couldn't pull it off. Myrtle Beach has a good team and it's looking like an exodus in Tijuana and Norfolk as players get called up to the ISFL. If they have a solid draft this team should be rolling into the playoffs for S25.
Dallas Birddogs - ELIMINATED| Current Record: 4-8 (3-7) | Playoff Probability: 0% (0%) | Average Number of Wins: 4.5 (4.4)
Remaining Schedule
Week 13 - vs Myrtle Beach
Week 14 - vs Portland
My Take
Dallas is looking forward to the offseason with a rebrand and a new front office. The only thing left on their schedule is the potential to play spoiler if Portland is still in the playoff mix come Week 14. I look forward to the moves they make and along with Myrtle Beach should be competing for the SFC crown in Season 25.
NFC
Kansas City Coyotes | Current Record: 6-6 (5-5) | Playoff Probability: (100%) 80% | Average Number of Wins: 7.4 (7.6)
Remaining Schedule
Week 13 - vs Minnesota
Week 14 - at London
My Take
Kansas City had a big win over Portland to put themselves in a great position to get a playoff spot and a division. They stumbled against Norfolk but were still able to hold on to the division lead. If Kansas City can win at home against Minnesota in Week 13 it should be able to net them a playoff spot, unless Portland pulls out a miracle in Tijuana. Then a Week 14 match-up in London could decided home field advantage in the NFC Championship. I don't see Kansas City missing out on the playoffs.
London Royals | Current Record: 6-6 (5-5) | Playoff Probability: 90% (65%) | Average Number of Wins: 6.5 (6.6)
Remaining Schedule
Week 13 - at Norfolk
Week 14 - vs Kansas City
My Take
London looked poised to be at the top of the NFC but let their game against Tijuana slip through their fingers. London is in the same spot as Kansas City with a win and a Portland loss they are in the playoffs. London has a tougher game traveling to Norfolk in Week 13. It's going to be an interesting finish for London.
Portland Pythons | Current Record: 5-7 | Playoff Probability: 10% (55%) | Average Number of Wins: 5.3 (6.4)
Remaining Schedule
Week 13 - at Tijuana
Week 14 - at Dallas
My Take
Portland had a rough double header with back to back losses against Kansas City and Myrtle Beach. They aren't dead but their playoff chances went from 55% to a mere 10%. Portland is going to need to pull off a massive upset at Tijuana to keep their playoff hopes alive. I don't see that happening and Portland is going to be moving on to the offseason.
Minnesota Grey Ducks | Current Record: 4-8 (4-6) | Playoff Probability: 0% (0%) | Average Number of Wins: 4.3 (5.2)
Remaining Schedule
Week 13 - at Kansas City
Week 14 - at Myrtle Beach
My Take
Minnesota also suffered back to back losses and with back to back away games against good opponents it looks like Minnesota is poised to lose out and perhaps secure the #1 pick in the DSFL draft. The team isn't technically eliminated but they need a LOT of things to go their way to secure a playoff spot. The team has issues to fix on their roster but with a good offseason they should fight for a playoff spot in S25.
Final Thoughts
As the SFC top teams keep rolling the NFC stays a muddled mess. Everything could be decided after Week 13 as far as playoff spots with only seeding on the line in Week 14. If games bounce a certain way though we could be in for a real interesting Week 14. I can't wait to see what happens.
