As most people know, I tend to be a bit obsessed with the three league overlap and so I have done this kind of article before.
Maybe some people will remember This article which showed which users had had a player in the three major leagues (PBE, ISFL, SHL) that went to the hall of fame. As the last article showed, no one had actually succeeded in making a hall of fame player in all three leagues.
Given the news of the week, I figured an update was a good idea.
First, here is a reminder on the users that had succeeded in getting a player into the hall of fame in two leagues:
PigSnout - PBE as Vick Thunder, ISFL as Boss Tweed
Manicmav36 - PBE as Shooty McLish, ISFL as Owen Taylor
iamslm22 - PBE as Esteban Rodriguez, ISFL as Avon Blocksdale
Ballerstorm - ISFL as Josh Garden, SHL as Randy Randleman
Since that article was made, several other users have succeeded in putting two players into the hall of fame.
@timeconsumer was already in the ISFL hall of fame as Angus Winchester and has recently made the PBE Hall of Fame as Eduardo Dinero. Congratulations on joining this very select group of users!
@bovovovo was already in the ISFL Hall of Fame as Borkus Maximus III and has recently also made the PBE Hall of Fame as D'Aroldis Borkman. Congratulations on joining this very select group of users!
Myself, I was already in the ISFL Hall of Fame as Julian O'Sullivan and have recently also made the PBE Hall of Fame, also as Julian O'Sullivan, which oddly makes me the first user to get the same player name into a hall of fame twice lol.
@majesiu was not on the original list at all, except for in the "look aheads", since he was in neither Hall of Fame, but in a crazy way, he made the Hall of Fame in both the PBE (as Paulo Di Stephano) and the ISFL (as Vladimir Fyodorovich) in essentially the same week. What a crazy accomplishment. Congratulations on joining this very select group of users!
I will admit, that I also am not 100% up to date on every hall of fame, especially the SHL one, so it may be that others have also joined this list since then, but these are the only ones I can confirm. Even that way, the list went from 4 names to 8, so that is quite a change in just a few months.
JKortesi81 is likely the next name to be added to the list, or the most obvious one, as Penny Kowers is a surefire Hall of Famer once he is up for voting in the PBE.
Let me know if you know any other users who made the Hall of Fame recently or if I am off somewhere!
Obviously this is a shorter media article but has a lot of background work that went into it. Hope that is considered with the payout!
