Patrik Money has always had endorsement deals on the table for him. Between his superstar play and his humble potato farming offseason antics, marketing departments around the world love him. However recently he just signed his biggest deal yet, with the Bank of Canada. Being an upcoming player from the only Canadian team in the league and with the potential his name has for Money related puns, it was a no brainer for the bank. For Money himself, the absolute boatload of money he got in return made posing for some pictures for adverts a great deal. Billboards across Canada will be covered in adverts with cheesy slogans like ‘Make your Money work for you!’ and ‘Get Money in your pocket, as well as on your TV’.
As part of his contract he is also given a $5,000 stack whenever he gets a sack that he can throw out to the crowd as more advertising and to give back to the fans. Sadly, this season Covid has stopped fans being able to attend games and he has also lacked sacks, but both sides think it will pay off eventually. While this is just a new deal at the start of the 25th season in the ISFL, the Bank have agreed to continue to sponsor the throwing money to the crowd for the rest of Patrik Money’s career.
