Jonathan Shuffleboard went to Syracuse. Why Syracuse? Well Jonathan was always a New York boy, so of course staying in state was a no brainer for him. Yet Jonathan wanted to be in big time program and play against the best teams in the nation. Jonathan had his sights on the DSFL so he wanted to be noticed. Syracuse plays in the ACC, playing against big time college opponents such as Florida State and Clemson a few times in his career was something Jonathan knew he had to do.
The biggest issue Jonathan has was Syracuse wasn't actively recruiting him. While they had sent him some interest it had died out very fast. Their final offer was just a half scholarship. So Jonathan had to study hard on his SATs and earned a very high score for himself and got himself a academic scholarship. His brains are apparent on the football field, and they are also apparent in the classroom.
Once on campus however, it was clear that Shuffleboard was the best player in the Syracuse program. He was the starting FS on the first day of practice, and he took KR duties within a few weeks. Shuffleboard was a four year star in Orange, and left following his graduation, continuing his education until he was picked up by Tijuana.
