Hello, in researching for this article I became curious how much total TPE each team possessed, and how useful it was. For the first dataset, I collected the total TPE each team had, and broke it into an average for each player. The second dataset I collected I removed the lowest players (hopefully removing some inactives) to get to the top 23 players (11 offense, 11 defense, 1 kicker) on each team, and found the average of this. These statistics are useful in general for determining how successful each team will be, now and in the future.

Team Breakdowns:
NSFC Overview
Baltimore Hawks
BH: The Baltimore hawks are in a good position, at least as concerned in the NSFC. Below the Yeti, the hawks are still nudged ahead of the liberty and even with the wraiths in terms of total TPE. In figures of effective TPE, the hawks are again below the Yeti, the hawks are still nudged ahead of the liberty and even with the wraiths. The hawks have a string of good players, with some obviously inactive players give them a talented roster of players. Overall, the hawks are a balanced team of players, with the highest player at 252 TPE, but without a heavy concentration of TPE which gives the hawks a good solid core of players.
Colorado Yeti
CY: The Colorado yeti are the frontrunner of the NSFC in all measurable categories. The Yeti have the highest TPE totals in terms of total average and effective TPE, which makes sense as they played in the NSFC championship game against the wraiths. To compete with the remainder of the league, the Yeti have fairly even games against both the Outlaws and the Otters. The Yeti have a tough shock of players, with their highest players at 305, the highest player in the league, and several others players at or above 200 TPE.
Philadelphia Liberty
PL: The liberty are one of the two expansion team, so almost by default you would expect them to be the lowest in total and effective TPE. The Liberty appear to have drafted well, with one players at 272 total TPE, one of the highest players in the league. Several players are just under 200 TPE, and if they continue to build their TPE totals in regards to the other teams of the NSFC they should be able to soon compete for the conference, and then the league title.
Yellowknife Wraiths
YKW: The Yellowknife Wraiths are in good position to compete for the NSFC championship. The Wraiths have a total TPE of just over the Hawks, under the Yeti, and well above the Liberty. The Wraiths effective TPE is below the Hawks, above the Liberty, and below the Yeti. While the Wraiths are proposed by some to win the NSFC championship, they will need to outplay their TPE totals to succeed in their inter-divisional matches for the second season. The Wraiths boast a top heavy lineup, with a few players at high TPE totals, with one player at 278, one at 268, 267. They also have several players who appear inactive at the other end of the TPE spectrum at 50 TPE.
NSFC Overview
Arizona Outlaws
AO: The Arizona Outlaws have the deepest roster of any teams in the NSFL. With 32 players, they have players to spare for every role on the roster. The Outlaws also have some inactive appearing players at 50 TPE, but they only server to average out the roster to a dependable number, still above the Legion or the Sabercats. In terms of effective TPE, the Outlaws rank among the leaders of the entire league, effectively tied with the Yeti and just behind the Otters. The Outlaws also have a strong coterie of players at a high wealth of TPE, with one player at 291, and several close or above 250. The Outlaws look to compete against the Otters for the lead in the ASFC again for the second season.
Las Vegas Legion
LVL: The Legion are one of the two expansion team, you would expect them to be the lowest in total and effective TPE so almost by default. The Legion represented themselves well at the draft, gaining several young players, and gaining a good average TPE to be above several figures on the Hawks, liberty, or sabercats. With two players at 282 total TPE, the Legion have a few players which are among the highest in the league. The Legion have several players are just under 200 TPE, and if they continue to improve in regards to the other teams of the ASFC they should be able to soon compete for the conference, and then the league title.
Orange County Otters
OCO: The Orange County Otters finished season one as the runner up to the ASFC division, so by the numbers you would expect them to be high on the list of TPE winners. The OCO Otters are actually first on the list of average TPE, partially because they are tied as having the fewest players in the league. The Otters only have 26 total players on the roster, which brings up their total average TPE by player. With several inactive offensive linemen succeeding in the first season, the Otters appear to have a solid strategy for success. The Otters are also top in effective TPE, about 10 TPE higher than the next two teams, the Yeti and the Outlaws. The Otters have a high TPE total for their top player at 298, but also have a solid core of players at or around 250 TPE to build upon. This should explain the reason most teams the Otters succeed on both sides of the ball.
San Jose Sabercats
SJS: The San Jose Sabercats are in good position to build their team for the future. Their team is mostly active, and if they can continue to build their roster and TPE totals should be aiming for the leadership in the ASFC soon. In terms of average TPE the Sabercats are low on the list, however the cats are doing better in terms of effective TPE, as the Sabercats have several players at or around 200 total TPE. The Sabercats have one of the highest TPE players at 275. If the Sabercats can hold their momentum of building players they should compete sooner rather than later in the NSFL.
