40 minutes until the draft? Plenty of time for another mock!
For this edition, I'll take the top 14 players in TPE on the TPE tracker as of 11/20/20 and number them 1-14. I'll then randomly assign each ISFL franchise a corresponding 1-14 number, and...voila! A scientific mock that is certain to be 100% accurate. For Chicago, I assigned one number to Chicago and one to Chicago 2 to account for their two first round picks.

6. New York Silverbacks - QB LeBron James III
7. San Jose SaberCats - WR Tugg Speedman

1. Chicago Butchers - RB Cobra Kai
- It turns into a crowded backfield in the Windy City as Kai joins Baby Yoda and Julio Tirtawidjaja. This pick does not make a lot of sense from a need perspective, but why have two great running backs when you can have three? Kai won't have to worry about getting worn out, that's for sure.
2. Philadelphia Liberty - S Moe Skeeter
- Like Kai, Skeeter joins a crowded secondary in Philadelphia as an un-needed safety. Maybe they'll just run a dime package the entire time? The new Philly defense might feature one defensive lineman, one linebacker, and nine defensive backs. It'll be interesting to follow, that's for sure!
3. Berlin Fire Salamanders - DE Ernest Lover
- Somehow, Berlin has ended up with the best player in the draft here at #3. Lover has been widely predicted as the actual first overall pick to Berlin, so this is by far the only pick that has made any sort of sense. Great job, Berlin!
4. New Orleans Second Line - LB Leonard Taylor
- I don't think New Orleans would be too pressed if they ended up with LB Leonard Taylor at their actual first round pick. A lot of mocks have them taking a defensive player, so this one definitely makes sense. Not as perfect of a fit as Lover to Berlin, but way better than the first two selections.
5. Orange County Otters - LB BamBam McMullet
- I hope BamBam is patient. Orange County has a couple of young, active linebackers so it may be a while before McMullet can McBreak-in to the starting lineup. But look on the bright side - your mascot is an otter and that's always nice.
6. New York Silverbacks - QB LeBron James III
- If New York did this, their fanbase would revolt and burn down the stadium. There is no universe in which the Silverbacks take a QB in the first round, but here we are. Howitzer is young and will be the Silverbacks' signal caller for the foreseeable future, so LBJ will simply have to wait his turn. For years.
7. San Jose SaberCats - WR Tugg Speedman
- I like this pick. I had San Jose taking a wide receiver in my actual mock, so this one makes sense. Tugg had a great year for London and will do big things for the back to back Ultimus Champions. Good job, San Jose!
8. Arizona Outlaws - OL Richard Littlewood
- Another great pick! I have hordle going here in my real mock, so it's definitely within the realm of possibility that the Outlaws take Littlewood. They need OL help and this selection will help keep their QBs upright and healthy for the future.
9. Sarasota Sailfish - RB Mr. Forty-Two
- What is up with this mock spitting out good picks? If 42 is willing to stay down two more years, he could end up being a great addition to the Sailfish backfield. Sarasota's been known for prolific offenses and this pick will only further cement that going forward.
10. Chicago Butchers - WR Raphael Delacour
- I had Chicago going LB and safety in my actual mock and so far in this one, they've picked an RB and a WR. Delacour is a straight up stud, but I don't love this pick for Chicago. They're clearly going all in on the offensive side of the ball in this RNG draft.
11. Honolulu Hahalua - LB Vincent Jones
- Not great. And not because Jones isn't a really good prospect, but because Honolulu is absolutely loaded with elite 'backers. Vinny will be waiting to play for year and year and...years.
12. Yellowknife Wraiths - S Derek Wildstar
- I love this pick. I had the Wraiths taking a linebacker in my actual mock and what's closer to an LB than a safety? Wildstar is one of the top overall players so getting him here at 12 is a gift for the Wraiths.
13. Colorado Yeti - S Dogwood Maple
- Oof. There's no way I'm seeing the field for the near future. I love the Yeti, but they have safeties coming out of their hairy, Yeti ears. Bad pick here.
14. Baltimore Hawks - WR Mario Messi
- Eh. I'm neutral here with Messi going to the Hawks. They have a really nice passing offense, but I think they have other needs to fill. From a value perspective, it's a slam dunk, though. Can't hate taking an elite player here at #14 overall.
