All "Last Weeks Rankings" will be finishing standings from last season. If you have a problem with it, cry about it. I dont care. OH AND THIS POST [span style=\\\'color:red\\\']CONTAINS PROFANITY, if you don't like it, cry about it. I dont care.

[div align=\\\"center\\\"]1. Arizona Outlaws (1-0)
Last season's champions came into the first week looking to prove a point that they are still a dominant force in this league. They did just that by beating the Orange County Otters 17-9. The defense held the dominant otters to only 9 points off of 3 field goals. Luke Luechly led the defense with 11 Tackles, and 3 sacks. Ryan Flock added to that with 9 tackles, 1 Pass defended, 1 Interception, and 1 TD. Holy fuck he's good. Yes, I know, this defense is scary good, but dont sleep on this offense either. With King Bronko at the helm, they have a solid QB who isn't afraid of taking chances. Philadelphia Liberty should be scared walking into Arizona, as this team looks to be continuing its rampage from last season.
Last Week's Ranking: 1[/div]
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]2. Yellowknife Wraiths (1-0)
The Wraiths look truly scary when the ball is in their hands. They make constant plays and will beat you constantly with their high powered offense. Orosz had a spectacular game posting 261 yards and 3 touchdowns. Josh Garden came down with 2 of those touchdowns and 102 of the yards. This team is also very very solid on the defensive side of the ball. Although they gave up 17 points in their 27-17 victory over the Yeti, the defense came up with 4 Sacks and 2 Interceptions. This team is firing on all cylinders and is hoping to continue their upward trend when the Sabercats come to town tonight.
Last Week's Ranking: 42[/div]
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]3. Orange County Otters (0-1)
This team is really good. They are 0-1 due to having to face the reigning champions, but everything will fall into place and they will re-group and probably dominate tonight against the Hawks. The reason this team sits at number 3 on my list is the fact that they played a great game against a great team, but just ended up coming up short. The running backs combined for a total of 161 yard and Mike Boss threw for 243 yards. That's a high octane offense firing on all levels, but the defense did not show up. With only 1 tackle for a loss and 1 sack, they really weren't pressuring the QB at all. Look for Dominic Verns to step up big time in their game tonight, this is a good defense that probably just had an off-night. Hope to see them do well tonight.
Last Week's Ranking: 3[/div]
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]4. Colorado Yeti (0-1)
The yeti are an interesting team. They are good, but they are that type of good where you say "I could watch it, but eh, what else is on." They had 160 yards rushing and 145 passing. They were completely out-matched in the passing game and really needed to make up for it on the rushing end. Going against the high powered offense of the Wraiths, the Yeti could not afford turnovers and they gave up 4. All blame needs to be headed towards Logan Noble for this one. Noble seems to be a very efficient quarterback when you look at his completion percentage, but as you look harder, you see 2 interceptions on only 7 incomplete passes. That shows that he can throw absolutely wild if he isn't on target. This could just come down to an unlucky situation, but i'm all about strong opinions and statements so here's mine:
"Logan Noble is extremely overrated."
The Yeti will be a top team again as long as they limit their turnovers against good teams, and focus heavily on the run game. Logan Noble won't bring them to the promise land, but Boss Tweed sure will.
Last Week's Ranking: 22[/div]
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]5. Las Vegas Legion (1-0)
The Las Vegas Legion came out a bit flat against the Baltimore Hawks. After scoring 10 straight in the 4th, they thought they would easily take home the win, until Turkleton hammered in a 57 yarder to force the game to go into OT. Josh Bercovici took it upon himself to throw the game winning touchdown pass to Alexandre LeClair early into overtime. This team is okay. What I will give them, is that they are better than people thought. They got lucky with getting to play against a weak Hawks team, that they put 373 total yards up against. Josh Bercovici put up 267 yards and had 2 Interceptions to match his 2 Touchdowns. This teams defense is atrocious and will get destroyed on the regular by most of the better teams. Their high powered offense will get them out of trouble a lot of the time, but they just need to focus on not turning the ball over whenever they get into the red zone. They'll try their luck at home against the Yeti tonight.[/div]
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]6. San Jose Sabercats (1-0)
This is where things get a bit interesting. The Sabercats lost in total yards, they tied in first downs, they gave up more penalty yards, and they even tied in turnovers ALL AGAINST THE PHILADELPHIA LIBERTY. What saved them from losing this game? Might you ask? Well the fact that the Liberty are practically a practice squad. Their defense was non-existent. Now don't get me wrong, so were the Sabercats defense. Defensive team leader Ja Brill had 1 tackle AND THATS IT. It was a slug-fest with neither team playing any defense. Just happens that the Sabercats defense was slightly better than that of the Liberty(Surprise Surprise).
"The San Jose Sabercats will NOT make the playoffs."
Last Week's Ranking: 6[/div]
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]7. Baltimore Hawks (0-1)
The fucking hawks man. This team is an enigma. Their offense is AWFUL. They put up 259 total yards up against the Las Vegas Legion's terrible defense. I will admit that losing 90 yards on penalties for the game is a shame and probably contributed a lot to this loss, but its un-acceptable to have that many penalties. Playing against the Legion's defense, the hawks should have posted close to 400 total yards on the day. Instead, their defense had to try to make up for everything going wrong on the offensive end. The defense did okay, they posted 6 sacks and really pressured Josh Bercovici for most of the night forcing an additional 2 interceptions. The problem with the defense was the huge plays they were giving up. The Legion were averaging 7.4 yards per pass play while the Hawks were averaging 3.3. This game really came down to an awful Legion defense versus an awful Hawks offense and unfortunately it seems as though that awful Legion defense made more stops/plays than the Hawks could. I fully expect the hawks to make plenty of changes and to pick it up tonight at home against the Otters, but I still expect them to lose that game as well.
Last Week's Ranking: 52[/div]
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]8. Philadelphia Liberty (0-1)
Wow the liberty suck, but HEY it's what we all expected. I am not sure about all this "They were expecting to be good" bullshit that's going around. Anybody with a brain knew that the Liberty were going to suck and that they have a WAYS to go before they are even decent. But let's be real here, their offense is something to be nervous about. Fox North? That kid is the truth. Hauling in 6 catches for 117 yards against a secondary that was SUPPOSED to do big things this year. I am surprised and saddened that he could not convert a touchdown off of any of his 6 catches, but it happens and you have to deal with it. Jameis Christ also had a decent showing, throwing for 242 yards. He had no touchdowns to show for it and even got himself an interception, but for Philadelphia, he's right where he needs to be. Obvious improvements are necessary, but he's got potential. NOW let's get to why the Liberty are all the way at the bottom of the bucket. WELL, their defense is complete SHIT. Where was Vikian Marmeladov? 3 Tackles is unacceptable if you want to make an impact on the defensive end. The defense had 0 sacks and couldn't reach QB Ethan Hunt once all night. With no pressure, of course the opposing offense is going to put up high numbers. The sad part is that even though the Liberty put up more Total Yards than the Sabercats, their defense couldn't do ANYTHING against the San Jose Offense. I'll be watching the Liberty offense, they could make some noise. However, I don't believe it will get them very close to winning any games with a defense that falls asleep as soon as the ball is hiked.[/div]
This concludes my power rankings. I will be doing these weekly and hope that you all continue to give me feedback on them.
