"Hey everyone back in New Orleans, it's Dale Murphy, and I'm once again reporting from the great Mexican city of Tijuana, which is famous for its tacos indeed, and also its very famous for its DFSL football team, the Tijuana Lunchadores, ahem, I mean the eight time champion Tijuana Lunchadores. The Lunchadores came into yesterday's game at 2-2, with 54 points scored and 54 points allowed through four games. Their defense has been great, only allowing 13.5 points a game. Sadly for them their offense was only averaging 13.5 points a game, so they have been right around .500. And they say defense wins championships, and they certainly have that.
In week 5, the Dallas Birddogs took the short trip over the border, legally of course, to visit the Lunchadores in Tijuana. The Lunchadores jumped out to a 14-0 lead, but in the final few minutes of the first half the Birddogs put up 17 points, including a punt return touchdown with just 5 seconds on the clock. From there the Tijuana defense shut down the Birddogs, and the offense was able to get 10 points in the second half, to win 24-17.
Jonathan Shuffleboard had a very quiet game, just one tackle.
Vincent Jones Jr. had 6 tackles, including yet another sack.
In week 6, the Lunchadores travelled to face the Portland Pythons. The game started with a kick return touchdown for the Lunchadores, but after trading punts, the Pythons tied the game up at 7. After another trade of punts, the Lunchadores took a 14-7 lead, and the Pythons promptly tied the game at 14. After the Lunchadores punted again, the Pythons hit a field goal , putting the score at 17-14 Pythons going to the half, as Tijuana missed a long field goal at the halftime buzzer. A quiet third quarter saw the Pythons extend their lead to 20-14, but the Lunchadores were driving, with a chance to take the lead. But they would be denied. A huge interception by the rookie Lawrence Miller on the goalline ended what would be the Lunchadores best chance to win the game. Portland drove right down the field to score, taking a 27-14 lead with just over 10 minutes to go. That would be the final
Jonathan Shuffleboard had three tackles on the night.
Vincent Jones Jr. had an incredible eleven tackles, and another sack. He may have lost his sack per game streak in week three, but he is sure still a beast of a player.
I'd like to quickly end with the stats of those two players on the season to date (six games).
Shuffleboard has 29 tackles, one pick, one sack and one pass defended. Solid numbers.
Vincent Jones Jr. has 45 tackles, 2 pass defended, and 5 sacks. These are the kind of numbers that make Second Line fans excited about the future.
So that's all for me,

EDIT: I fixed the title here to Five and Six, it originally said Four and Five. Do not regrade it.
