Lets do the 3nd round now, before starting I expect a few more hits or misses now since now the draft becomes a bit more of a crap shoot and there will likely be more players with TPE less than mine.
HOW I WILL GRADE
Since we are in the third round I am going to lower the barrier for being a hit. so if a player has more than 520 TPE, I will consider them a HIT, if they have less than that I will consider them a MEH, and if they have less than 450 (100 less than a me) I will consider them a Bust.
With the First Pick in the third round the Colorado Yeti Select NationalSimulation FootballLeague S
SDCore is an HO Member and a pretty solid earner. Also someone who would have also been considered a hit in the both the 2nd or first round as SDCore has 549 TPE, Colorado got a great pick here and benefits from the the large amount of high quality safeties in this class as NSFL is a HIT
With the 2nd Pick in the third round the Yellowknife Wraiths Select Jameson Vermillion RB
Yellowknife benefit huge from the lack of a RB, if Vermillion played any other position he likely would have been a 1st or 2nd rounder, but cause he plays RB, YKW get a huge steal. at 598 TPE Vermillion is someone who is outpacing many first round picks that I considered hits and is a huge HIT
With the 3rd pick in the third round the Philadelphia Liberty select Jimi DeSoto LB
Jimi has recently been given the Norfolk GM roll and is clearly a dedicated user and I remember was often mocked in the first round, so Philly will gladly take him this late. at 550 TPE this is the third user in a row who I would have considered a amazing pick even if they were drafted earlier than the third round. Jimi is a clear HIT
With the 4th pick in the third round the Chicago Butchers select Damian Blackfyre S
I believe ThunderTitan was a late create, but the man has been earning like crazy since he joined. With a massive bank account due to the stupid amount of high quality sigs he makes, Blackfyre is the first player that benefits from me lowering the barrier to entre on TPE with him having 543 TPE, but at this point and he fact that he has like enough money to not earn again for like 3 careers means that ThunderTitans a HIT
With the 5th pick in the third round the Yellowknife Wraiths select Donald McBobby LB
Despite being called up, McBobby has not updated in 2 months. With this fact and due to the fact that he only has 367 TPE, and the fact that many high earning LBers are still on the Board McBobby is a BUST
With the 6th pick of the third round Philadelphia Liberty select Honky-Tonk Haywood DT
A great pick for Philly in this round Haywood has been earning very solidly during his time in Philly. With 547 TPE, Haywood is a great pickup here and is a HIT
With the 7th pick of the third round the Chicago Butchers select Wasrabi Gleel LB
Its kinda funny to compare McBobby and Gleel, McBobby is a player that got called up early and went IA soon after the draft, meanwhile Gleel has been max earning and is currently still in the DSFL. But that does not matter to them, Chicago will be getting a 534 TPE player next season to replace one of their older LB, and Gleel will be able to make a huge impact for the Butchers next season. Due to this Gleel is a HIT
With the 8th pick of the third round the Arizona Outlaws select L'Gazzy Burfict
This is the point were the Yellowknife look real silly with the McBobby selection. Burfict is someone who for some reason keeps getting underrated and overlooked, the man has 592 TPE as a LB and somehow fell this far in the draft, in the DSFL draft he went in the 10th round too. But almost out of spite Burfict has been earning like a mad man and is currently the third best earning LB in the class, and Arizona gets a one of the best players in the class in the middle of the third a huge HIT
With the 9th pick of the third round the Berlin Fire Salamanders select Ananda Adyan OL
A solid user TMosura is the DSFL Stream Graphics guy, and is a big part of the Berlin O-Line. However despite this he has not been as good of an earner as others in this class, so while Berlin might like this pick, with only 488 TPE, im going to have to give him a MEH
With the 10th pick of the third round the Honolulu Hahalua select Lionel Rumper S
The third horseman off the board, however is also the first Horseman thats IA. While he seems to visit the website from time to time, he has not put in a significant update since October and only has 315 TPE, with many active players still on the board I have to give Oneski a BUST
With the 11th pick of the third round the Orange County Otters select Owen Holloway WR
Spec is a league legend, for his time at the team that decided to bring him back again. Someone who only fell this far due to his contract demands of being the WR1 (i guess Garfield Despacito Jr. does not give a fuck bout that). OCO is salivating over the fact that they were able to bring back this guy back, and at 572 TPE he is a clear HIT
with the 12th pick of the third round the Orange County Otters select Bronko Mills RB
The 2nd RB off the board, but this time a huge wiff by OCO. with only 279 TPE, its amazing that he was picked this early for someone who seems to be only Semi-Active. Out of curiosity i checked to see if he has unclaimed TPE, but even if he claims it all, he will likley only be in the 300s for TPE which is a huge wiff considering alot of active high earning RB were still on the board at this point. The only saving grace is that he actually visits the site more that most of the other missed picks, but with that low TPE, he is still considered a BUST
With the 13th pick of the third round the New York Silverbacks select Bob Roberts S
Hey thats me!!! I like to consider myself a pretty solid pick for New York, ive got 545 TPE and have a GFX grader job and also run the Dallas Twitter account which is pretty lowkey and no one really talks about. Ima give myself a HIT
With the last pick in the third round the San Jose Sabercats select Zach Crossley WR
I dont think i have talked to ajtigger ever or even seen him around, but he is a high earner and is only the 3rd WR taken so far in this draft. At 540 TPE Crossley is continuing to be a huge Asset for the SJS team and I would call him a HIT
The third round of the draft was where we finally saw some drastic differences on how picks turned out, you have a few more busts then you have some guys who could have been first rounders based on how they are earning now. I might do a more of these since there kinda fun to do and I have a of free time.
