Looks like it's my turn to follow suit and announce that this will be my last season as GM of the Tijuana Luchadores. I've enjoyed my time immensely ever since being drafted there as part of the S22 class and am honored to have had the chance to try out being a GM with them. While I would love to continue as GM for the rest of time if possible, it's time for me to let somebody else have a turn in the drivers seat.
I first off want to thank @Jay_Doctor and @FleshBagSoup for drafting me and the rest of that killer class during the enormous S22 draft. You guys were extremely supportive and encouraging from the start and were the main factors that led to me enjoying the league as much as I do. I remember at one point we were discussing something and Jay sent me a message that just said something along the lines of "I'm so happy I drafted you". To this day that is the single greatest compliment I believe I've received in this league and it really meant a lot to me. You both set a high bar for me for what it means to be a GM, and I hope I lived up to it during my three season tenure.
Next up I want to thank @mithrandir for taking me on as co-GM after Jay stepped down. I spent two of my three GM seasons with you and am extremely proud of what we built and how we tackled the S25 Reddit class. That first dominant 10-4 season we had was a thing of beauty, topped only by winning the Ultimini as major underdogs the following season. In fact, writing this makes me realize how close we came to being back to back champions.
@Tonzy is going to be taking the head GM spot here from me, and I know the team is in more than capable hands. While the 4-10 this season is a bit of a disappointment, we knew we were in for a down season and I think we did a good job of setting the team up to have success next season with whoever you end up choosing as your co.
Finally I want to give a shoutout to @"Punter715", @GuitarMaster116, and @Kotasa. We picked all 3 of you up as true rookies during the S25 draft and you're the new young core of the Tijuana war room. I couldn't be more proud of you guys, and in some ways you guys already have accomplished more in this league than I have. I'll still be around the war room, but know that if it came to it I have full trust in all of you to be able to manage this team.
Final thanks to anyone else in the war room I haven't already mentioned and to DSFL HO. You guys have made my job easy as hell, and I truly appreciate it.
