After many weeks of deliberation, Raske has decided to enter the DSFL draft rather than pursue a career in racing. The prospect from LSU lit the college world on fire in his senior season, winning both the Maxwell and O'Brien trophies. While he was not able to win the National Championship versus USC, Raske impressed DSFL scouts with his arm strength and quick decision making. There are some questions about him transferring over to the next level. Namely, he played in a simple offense while at LSU, he's only been the starter for two years and there are questions about his commitment to football. While he has verbally stated he will be playing in the DSFL and eventually the ISFL, there are questions as to whether or not he will continue his racing career. He has not ruled out joining the LMP1 class as part of the FIA World Endurance Championship, and any injuries he sustains while racing will affect his ability to play quarterback massively. Whether or not he stays on the football path or moves over to racing remains to be seen, but if a coach can keep Raske on the team, he has massive potential as an ISFL quarterback.
