Alright so who watched all one and a half hours of the ISFL video that was uploaded Wednesday night? I sure as hell didn’t. No harm no foul though. These are the growing pains of updating to the newest version of the sim. Before we know it we’ll be wondering how we ever put up with Dance Dance Revolution Pro Football ’16. Anyways, I did manage to get six out of seven predictions correct last week, so here’s how I think Week 2 will shake out.
ISFL WEEK 2
Sarasota Sailfish at Yellowknife Wraiths
Quarterback:
Sarasota: 846 TPE
Yellowknife: 1252 TPE
Running Back:
Sarasota: 2187 TPE
Yellowknife: 1547 TPE
Wide Receiver:
Sarasota: 2475 TPE
Yellowknife: 2683 TPE

Defensive Tackle:
Sarasota: 1056 TPE
Yellowknife: 1476 TPE
Linebacker:
Sarasota: 2218 TPE
Yellowknife: 2288 TPE
Cornerback:
Sarasota: 1577 TPE
Yellowknife: 2168 TPE
Safety:
Sarasota: 2816 TPE
Yellowknife: 1902 TPE
Kicker/Punter:
Sarasota: 887 TPE
Yellowknife: 628 TPE
TOTALS:
Sarasota: 18,288 TPE
Yellowknife: 18,320 TPE
TPE ADVANTAGE: Yellowknife +32 TPE
Comments:
I don’t think I could have asked for a more even matchup in regards to TPE than this one. Last week Sarasota was able to defeat Colorado while Yellowknife took an early season loss against the terrifying Chicago roster. With the numbers being so close on this one, I have to go with the home field advantage being the deciding factor. Who knows though, Sarasota has shocked us before.

Chicago Butchers at Philadelphia Liberty
Quarterback:
Chicago: 1236 TPE
Philadelphia: 860 TPE
Running Back:
Chicago: 2108 TPE
Philadelphia: 1926 TPE

Chicago: 1653 TPE
Philadelphia: 1631 TPE

Defensive End:
Chicago: 986 TPE
Philadelphia: 1375 TPE
Defensive Tackle:
Chicago: 2507 TPE
Philadelphia: 687 TPE
Linebacker:
Chicago: 2636 TPE
Philadelphia: 2156 TPE
Cornerback:

Philadelphia: 1573 TPE
Safety:
Chicago: 1948 TPE
Philadelphia: 1642 TPE
Kicker/Punter:
Chicago: 885 TPE
Philadelphia: 611 TPE
TOTALS:
Chicago: 22,160 TPE
Philadelphia: 14,691 TPE
TPE ADVANTAGE: Chicago +7469 TPE
Comments:
I love the culture that Philadelphia has been able to foster the past couple of seasons. That being said, I legitimately feel bad for their game against Chicago this week. Chicago having an almost +7500 lead in TPE over Philly might be one of the largest differences I have ever seen. I know Philly is feeling emboldened after their Week 1 win, but let’s be real; they faced Honolulu. Maybe Philadelphia can level the playing field a tad with their home field advantage, but I wouldn’t really count on it. I’m definitely picking Chicago this week.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Colorado Yeti at Berlin Fire Salamanders
Quarterback:
Colorado: 929 TPE
Berlin: 1224 TPE
Running Back:
Colorado: 1504 TPE
Berlin: 1310 TPE
Wide Receiver:
Colorado: 2607 TPE
Berlin: 2169 TPE
Tight End:
Colorado: 335 TPE
Berlin: 993 TPE
Offensive Line:
Colorado: 2422 TPE
Berlin: 1873 TPE
Defensive End:
Colorado: 2196 TPE
Berlin: 1105 TPE
Defensive Tackle:
Colorado: 724 TPE
Berlin: 1686 TPE
Linebacker:
Colorado: 2576 TPE
Berlin: 1904 TPE
Cornerback:
Colorado: 1787 TPE
Berlin: 3045 TPE
Safety:
Colorado: 1450 TPE
Berlin: 930 TPE
Kicker/Punter:
Colorado: 607 TPE
Berlin: 543 TPE
TOTALS:
Colorado: 17,137 TPE
Berlin: 16,782 TPE
TPE ADVANTAGE: Colorado +355 TPE
Comments:
This is another really close matchup. Colorado’s +355 TPE lead is not a lot, and counts for even less since they’re playing in Berlin. Colorado has shown a glimmer of struggling over last season and took a Week 1 loss at home against an unpredictable Sarasota team. Berlin on the other hand absolutely spanked Baltimore in Week 1, but Baltimore might be the most struggling team this season. I think I’m going to have to go with Berlin in Week 2 and see if they are as good as their roster seems to be.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
San Jose Sabercats at Baltimore Hawks
Quarterback:
San Jose: 1170 TPE
Baltimore: 1297 TPE
Running Back:
San Jose: 2189 TPE

Wide Receiver:
San Jose: 2160 TPE

Baltimore: 1615 TPE
Cornerback:

Baltimore: 2226 TPE
Safety:
San Jose: 1680 TPE
Baltimore: 1277 TPE
Kicker/Punter:
San Jose: 1162 TPE
Baltimore: 421 TPE
TOTALS:
San Jose: 16,818 TPE
Baltimore: 14,084 TPE
TPE ADVANTAGE: San Jose +2734 TPE
Comments:
Baltimore played at home last week and only scored 3 points. I have no real reason to believe this week will be any different. Baltimore’s GM issues and leaking roster continue to be a detriment to their success. San Jose on the other hand is one of the middle of the pack teams that is going to have to elbow their way into the playoffs again. If San Jose can’t pick up a win here then they might as well call it a season already.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
New York Silverbacks at Orange County Otters
Quarterback:
New York: 929 TPE
Orange County: 1152 TPE
Running Back:
New York: 1526 TPE

Orange County: 3814 TPE
Kicker/Punter:
New York: 876 TPE
Orange County: 161 TPE
TOTALS:
New York: 16,393 TPE
Orange County: 19,582 TPE
TPE ADVANTAGE: Orange County +3189 TPE
Comments:
I am definitely a homer but only try to show it when placing bets. New York was hyped to pick up a Week 1 win of New Orleans who knocked them out of the playoffs last season, but this Orange County team looks mean. With Orange County holding both the TPE and home field advantages, it’ll be a hard fight for New York to win. I’ll have to pick logically in Week 2 and go with Orange County to walk away with the win.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Honolulu Hahalua at New Orleans Second Line
Quarterback:
Honolulu: 917 TPE
New Orleans: 1177 TPE
Running Back:
Honolulu: 1761 TPE

Kicker/Punter:
Honolulu: 1043 TPE
New Orleans: 317 TPE
TOTALS:
Honolulu: 15,910 TPE
New Orleans: 16,727 TPE
TPE ADVANTAGE: New Orleans +817 TPE
Comments:
The TPE difference between New Orleans and Honolulu is actually a lot closer than I had imagined. New Orleans always seems to play up and Honolulu seems to be playing down lately. Honolulu are going to be the underdogs in this game but I really want them to get a win. Regardless of what I want, I think New Orleans will win this one.
