Logan Anderson spoke to our team following the Pythons Week 2 victory over the Buccaneers. Here is what he had to say.
Reporter: Thank you for your time Logan, I know you probably want to go celebrate with the team but we have a few questions for you first if that’s alright.
Anderson: Of course.
Reporter: So Logan, what do you make of your first DSFL game, especially coming away with a big win?
Anderson: It’s every bit of what I imagined it to be. I’m part of something special here in Portland. I came onto the field today with high expectations for myself and high expectations from my team and gave it my all.
Reporter: And how do you think you did today?
Anderson: To be honest, I expected myself to be better than I was. I was flagged twice, both in the 1st half. I know that I’m smarter than that and I’ve gotta be better.
Reporter: Even with the penalties, you had a pretty good debut, especially for coming into the league as an undrafted. What was the main reason for your success today?
Anderson: I owe it to my team. I couldn’t have a better group of football players around me. We have some amazing people in this building, and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of it. I also want to take this chance to thank my coaches and management for believing in me and giving me this chance to prove myself. I won’t let them down.
Reporter: Thank you Logan, one last question, I heard a rumor that you may be moving to the LB position in the upcoming weeks. Do you have any more information regarding this?
Anderson: This team has a winning culture and a focus on self-development. I will take any chance I can get to broaden my own skills and to help the team going forward.
Reporter: That’s all we have for you today Logan, Thank you!
