STATS SPREADSHEET HERE!
The above spreadsheet has all of the available statistical information exported from the sim and sorted by position. Additionally, I calculated numerous additional stats that are not listed in the index or sim. EDIT: Please use however you would like for media, analysis, or as raw data to create your own formulas for evaluating player performance.
All positions except kicker: Mistake% =(penalties+fumbles+sacks allowed+interceptions+drops+missed tackles)/plays
All defense: CtA% = Catches allowed / Targets
All defense: TCK% = Tackles/(Tackles+Missed Tackles)
CBs: Support Tackles = Tackles-Catches Allowed
Note: This shows approximately how many tackles you made in the run game or in support of other pass coverage. E.g. Lavelle Jr had a league-worst -49 support tackles, so he probably gave up a lot of big plays. Witten had a league-best among CBs of +11 Support tackles, showing that he was a force on run defense and did not get beat for big plays often.
CBs: PD%, INT%, PDINT%: =PD/Tar, INT/Tar, (PD+INT)/Tar
Note: PDINT% is a good metric to show how often a defender disrupted a pass.
All Defense Except CBs: TFL/SCK% = (TFL+SCK)/Tackles
Note: Calculates what percentage of a defender's tackles happened behind the line of scrimmage.
FBs, TEs, RBs, WRs: Drop%, Catch% = Drops/Targets, Catches/Targets
Punters: Inside20% (I20%) = PuntsInside20/Punts
Kickers: Kick% = (FieldGoalsMade+PATsMade)/(FieldGoalsAttempted+PATsAttempted)
Linebackers: TCK/Play = Tackles/Plays
Note: As the primarily tacklers on a defense, it can be useful to evaluate the rate at which a linebacker made tackles.
OL: Pancake% = Pancakes/Plays
QBs: TD%, INT%, Sack% = TD/Attempts, INT/Attempts, Sacks/(Sacks+Attempts)
QBs: Adjusted yards per attempt (AY/A), Net yards per attempt (NY/A), Adjusted Net Yards per Attempt (ANY/A): These are traditional QB metrics which adjust yards per attempt for sacks, touchdowns, and interceptions. Google can tell you more about these specific calculations.
*Note to graders: This is obviously categorized as statistical analysis, not media, but I put it here for visibility.
*Note to GMs: I hope you will consider some of this information beyond the index when voting for awards and Pro Bowls!
