Allowing the league to seize the opportunity to utilize the International in International Simulation Football League, creates the ability to branch to new markets that are begging for an economic boost, and one of those markets that are rising through this tough time happen to be Rome! Rome's rich culture, being the capital of the Roman Empire, has brought forth Architecture and Culture which this planet continues to celebrate and cherish even right now, and we can add our own flair by promoting American Football to the Italian, and frankly European audience!
Berlin and London have already brought the Northern European Audience to the glory of the gridiron, however, football to Rome allows for Southern Europeans to get a taste of the turf and increase the excitement for potential future franchises in the Balkans, Iberia, the Italian Peninsula, or potentially North Africa, as Rome is one of the most important cities in the Mediterranean.
Rome has also been a hotspot of classical and modern sports, being the host of the Summer Olympics, plenty of FIFA and UEFA tournaments, the host of the Coppa Italia Final since 2015, and the list goes on and on. With a new state-of-the-art Soccer Stadium (Stadio Della Roma) being used by the Roman soccer club A.S. Roma, we, as a league, could put the facility to good use.
Infrastructure in the area is stout, as the Rome Metro unites the city with its consistent commute options. Another option besides that includes the Bus Network, Trams, and Commuter rails that feed out of Rome in the Lazio region, and countless streets that feed in and out of the city, allowing for lots of people to come and watch the big game.
What does the Logo Mean?
The Italian flag immediately jumps out, as it represents the Nation that the Ultimus is being presented in. The purple presented in the logo represents royalty and an homage to the history of this ancient city. The bold font used in the text portions of the logo represents the sharp juxtaposition of progressive modernity and traditional values, with accents added to accentuate the text.
