Home to the busiest airport in the world, the Hollywood of the South, and lovingly referred to as the Big Peach, there leaves little room for doubt about which city should be the center of attention when it comes to the host city for S28 Ultimus.
Representing a similar design to the ISFL shield, the Atlanta Ultimus Shield is topped off with a lovely design of the Atlanta skyline and a bold look of the Georgia Capitol Building's top. The stars of the ISFL shield are replaced with nine stripes instead that represent four teams in the playoffs, with one route to the Ultimus. The colors come from the official ISFL colors except for the border of "XXVIII" bordered in gold that represents passion and courage that teams must have in order to win it all.
Many might be wondering as to why Atlanta over other cities that the league has a hot bed of users in. There aren't any teams within the same state, and it does not have a love from users that have had to brave the I-285 Circle of Hell that boundaries the historic city. However, the heart of the city is perfect for the atmosphere of sports despite not hosting a championship winning team since Atlanta United won the MLS Cup in the 2018 season. Moreover, the sim has faced history with the city in the S24 Charity Tournament when the league saw its only undefeated team to ever play more than one game in the Atlanta Pink Ponies. Jay & Crew took the team on a three game win streak to win the tournament and cement themselves in the small corner of league history. What better place to celebrate champions than the place of the only undefeated sim team?
