Hey there everybody, this is Skorch here! I'm a defensive end for the Minnesota Grey Ducks, and a prospect in the S28 ISFL class. Now you may be thinking: Hey, what gives this dude the merit to write a mock draft... he probably doesn't know anything. And to that I say: You're absolutely right! This is simply just for fun, so it won't surprise me if I don't get many of these right! However, I am going to try and make this as thorough as possible and explain my decisions so hopefully you understand where I am coming from! (also I need the media money )
Before I begin, I want to start out with a few general rules that I tried to abide by:
Round 1
Pick 1: Baltimore Hawks Select Luke Quick, WR
So, these first two picks go slightly hand-in hand, but with the first pick I will say Baltimore will take Luke Quick so he can join an elite group of players who were taken first overall in both the DSFL and ISFL drafts. Baltimore gets a capstone wide receiver to build their team around, along with an obviously well liked veteran user to add to their locker room. This will only be the 2nd wide receiver on their roster, so they can call him up right away to have him play a factor from day one. This pick will immensely help their rebuilding team, and will be a large part of Baltimore's future for many seasons to come.
Pick 2: Baltimore Hawks Select Busch Goose, RB
As I said with the previous pick, the first two selections that Baltimore will take are aiming to add impactful players and great users to their locker room. They take the player Busch Goose from user infinitempg with the second pick here. inifnitempg is an immensely well-loved user, and one of the most active users in the league. Adding these two veteran users with their first two picks, Baltimore will have completely revitalized their locker room, and fully instantiated their rebuild. Goose will also be the only RB on the roster, so as with Luke Quick, he can be immediately called up to help the team through this rebuild.
I don't think I have very controversial opinions about these first two picks, considering that around 80% of users that have filled out the mock draft form have these two going at 1 and 2.
Pick 3: Orange County Otters Select Stumpy Jones, OL
So I know what you're probably thinking, OCO needs a LB or a WR, why do you have them taking an O-line here? Well, the sole reason I can give you is positional scarcity. I think that OCO will go OL, LB, WR this draft, but if they wait any longer on their O-line pick, they are going to have to reach a bit on someone. Unlike many drafts, there are many great linebackers and wide receivers so I feel like they could wait on those. Stumpy is the top earner for offensive line (but Cade Williams is close), and is super active on discord. I feel that Orange County will be glad that they got such a great user at a scarce position. However, Dexter Hall is clearly the favorite in this pick in other mock drafts, so I might have just completely missed the mark with this one.
Pick 4: Philadelphia Liberty Select Anton Bruckner, CB
This is another pretty universally agreed-upon pick, but I feel that the Liberty really can't go wrong here. Philadelphia is in dire need of a cornerback, because they are only rostering three corners and one just hit regression. They are able to secure what I would say is the top cornerback in the class, grabbing a well-earning player and an amazing user in Brucker. I cannot give enough praise to Gragg as a user - his media work honestly just speaks for itself. One of the most active people in discord, a great leader, and an amazing asset to have be apart of any locker room. This pick seems like a lock to me. However, I would not be surprised to see Juno Hu go here as well.
Pick 5: Berlin Fire Salamanders Select Dexter Hall, LB
So as I am writing this, a lot of these first picks aren't entirely too controversial. Berlin is actually built extremely well, with their only glaring need to me being defensive end and Linebacker. With this pick, I decided that Berlin would go Linebacker because they have DT Marlon Brando in the pipeline to come up in a season or two - but I can just as easily see them going for Defensive End. Dexter Hall is in my opinion the top Linebacker of the class, and firstfray is a great user from the few conversations that I've had with them. If Dexter Hall is on the board for Berlin with this pick, I don't see how they pass on him.
Pick 6: New York Silverbacks Select Glenn Smart, DE
In my opinion, this pick is an absolute steal. New York's biggest need is defensive end, and it isn't even close. They are only rostering two, and the one with lower TPE is about to get hit hard by regression since he was drafted in S19. With this pick, they get the best defensive end in the class, and a great user. Pib is active on discord, and has a league job to fund his time in the league. Overall, amazing pick for New York that will secure them one of their D-lineman of the future.
Pick 7: San Jose Sabercats Select Cade Williams, OL
It's no secret that San Jose is in dire need of a high-earning offensive lineman. They are only rostering one, being a S26 draftee so the overall TPE of their line is quite low. Adding Cade Williams here will give a great cornerstone piece to their line for seasons to come. Plus, that will be one less bot that they have to roster, so that is always a plus. Even though the Sabercats would potentially want a QB this draft, they can easily pick up a top earner in the coming rounds, whereas O-line falls off a bit after Williams is off the board.
Pick 8: Yellowknife Wraiths Select Prof Godfrey Gravity, DT
Another pick that feels like somewhat of a shoe-in, the Wraiths pick up a much-needed DT here - and the best one in the class by a pretty good margin at that. Yellowknife is a pretty well-rounded team, however they have a majorly glaring hole at DT. There's two on the roster, and with Nero Alexander retiring, they absolutely needed to pick up a DT in this draft. Gravity is a top earner of the class, and has about a 60TPE lead over the next DT. Unless they could get someone to switch positions (which I am not accounting for in this mock), this seems like the only viable pick in this position for Yellowknife. Going along with this, z0rem is a super cool user in the conversations that I've seen, and would fit right into the Yellowknife locker room.
Pick 9: Arizona Outlaws Select Juno Hu, CB
From here on out, the mock gets a bit shaky. Arizona is about as well-rounded as teams come, so I cannot choose a pick with certainty, but I have them taking Juno Hu here. Taking a look at the Outlaw's roster, they can probably use another cornerback since their strongest one is from S20 so will be taken by the regression reaper soon. Other than that, I could see them shoring up some O-line to fill some of the bot spots, but I feel that there are no more first-round worthy OL left. j00 is an amazing user and Arizona will be glad to add them to their locker room with this pick.
Pick 10: Chicago Butchers Select Mongo, DE
If this is actually how the first round plays out, I think that Chicago would be ecstatic to get Mongo with this pick. DE is definitely one of their biggest positions of need, with only two on the roster, and one barely being above 500 TPE. Mongo has been earning like crazy, already at 281 TPE even before the draft. MachineEarnedRuns is a great guy from the conversations that I have seen, so I feel that he'll fit right in with the culture that Chicago is trying to build. I will say - after seeing Gragg's mock I would not be surprised to see painted's player Tim Soulja go here as well. The MINN -> CHI pipeline is real!
Pick 11: Colorado Yeti Select Bender Rodriguez, TE
Okay so, this is where I'm going to get kinda weird. I don't think anybody can deny that Colorado's biggest need is DT with no real succession plan for the players that they currently have on their roster. However, there are no real other first round worthy DT's left on the board since Prof. Godfrey was taken by Yellowknife. So, I decided to do a sort of off-the-wall choice and go with my boy Shrub as the pick for Colorado. It's not like this is completely out of left field however, Colorado only has one tight end that is only at 350 TPE. With this take, they have their tight end of the future.
Pick 12: Honolulu Hahalua Select Chunt The Badger, WR
This is another team that needs a DT that probably won't end up taking one in the first round. However, looking at their roster it is easy to see that wide receiver depth is definitely on their radar for this draft. With everyone passing on wide receiver so far this draft, Honolulu lands one of the top prospects at the position. I am aware that they have two wide receivers in the pipeline with Eleven Kendrick-Watts and Lalo Salamenca, but it doesn't hurt to reinforce their depth. Their current active wide receiver duo is either near or already in regression, so adding Chunt with this pick secures the position for them for many drafts to come.
Pick 13: New Orleans Second Line Select Saleem Spence, WR
There are actually a couple of possible picks here for New Orleans, in my opinion. There are basically only two top earning tight ends in this class, so I could see them going with Makoa Mahi'ai from London to secure their succession plan for Austin McCormick. However, I think top wide receivers go back to back here, and they pick Saleem Spence. New Orleans wide receiver depth isn't bad by any means, but he could be used as Ed Barker's succession plan since he will be going into regression this season.
Pick 14: Sarasota Sailfish Select Xavier Walls, LB
I know I said I wouldn't take position switches into account, but this one has been known for a while so I decided to include it. Sarasota's biggest need is a third linebacker, since the duo on the active roster were both drafted in S22 and will be hit with regression soon. With this pick, the reigning champs will be able to fill their biggest need by far, as well as get a great user along with it. By every account, xtitanxmvpx has been an absolute stand-up guy and a great locker room presence. Sarasota will be happy to grab a great player and great user here with the last pick in the first.
Well, that is going to be it for now! This is all I have planned for this mock, since now the PT is for the DSFL draft. Hopefully, I will write a mock for the upcoming DSFL draft as well! I hope you all enjoyed, and most of all, thanks for reading!

Before I begin, I want to start out with a few general rules that I tried to abide by:
- I did not take trades into account. I will be using the draft order that has been set since after the season ended, so if trades occur this will be completely wrong.
- I took looks at rosters at face value, so I cannot predict any free agency moves that might correct some needs that I have seen in certain rosters.
- I try to rank people based off a combination of their TPE and Bank. I obviously will be slightly biased towards people that I have personally interacted with, but I try to be as objective as possible in my ratings.
- Finally, to reiterate, this is just for fun! If I had your player going lower than you think you should be, I probably just overlooked something!
