NOTE: The archives holding the tapes of the ISFL's scouting combine for last season were subject to what authorities called "a mysterious fire", which destroyed much of the footage the team had recorded, edited and provided voiceovers for. The following footage is all that has been salvaged.
ISFL Scouting Combine
Season 27 Edition
The results of the annual workout day for ISFL prospects are here, and this season's class of seventy -- exactly the same size as last season, oddly enough -- have subjected themselves to the annual spectacle that is the ISFL Scouting Combine. Apparently that re-vamp of the whole event is “coming soon” … so no change since the first time we heard about it ten seasons ago. Nice.
Anyway, as usual, the scouting combine took place over a few days, giving ISFL front office people a chance to get a look at their potential draft selections, doing… athlete-y things, I guess? Though that doesn’t explain why kickers are here. No, really. Why do we ask kickers to bench 225 lbs? I don’t get it.
Anyway, first up, the quarterbacks

Next up, let's look at the running backs.

On to the wide receivers.

Tight ends, next.

Uh, on to the offensive linemen, then.

Time to switch sides and look at the defensive linemen now.

Moving back a level, we have linebackers.

Now we reach my personal favourite position group; the defensive backs.

Finally, we come to special teams. I'll be honest, I only include this because the kicker mafia makes me do it -- pls dont kill me, run; or “olx dinr jull mre” as you’d say
Nah but for real though, who ever heard of a sport where kicking is the most important attribute?

To wrap things up, some notes about this season’s combine.
Only two players broke onto all-time top ten lists this year: Xander Creed’s 4.24 seconds in the 40 yard dash is good enough for equal 5th fastest, just one-hundredth of a second behind the record; and Ace Savage’s 3.93 second shuttle run is also equal 5th all-time, three-hundredths of a second behind the record set by Josh Garden in season one. Notably, Savage’s shuttle time has only been equalled or better once since season one (season 25, by Darren Pama).
