Always a plus to us take the vindictive path when it comes to wanting change. If you noticed this was becoming an issue why would you not take the time to educate the community about the expectations of the graders and the players so that we can start with a clean slate moving forward? No instead you have to attack a huge chunk of the league for what is in my opinion very minor mistakes just to prove a point?

I'm not looking for the graders to get crucified this announcement just felt weird as hell to me and I was curious what was going on. If it were up to me people would keep their tpe, pt graders get a small fine, and the announcement would be hey we realized this was happening for a long time and we are putting a stop to it moving forward. For example, Saba has 5 illegal TPE, but he hasn't claimed any TPE this season. He's also regressed multiple times. So assuming best case, the award of the 5 illegal TPE was last season and he regressed 50%, then he's technically only illegal by 2.5 TPE. If the illegal TPE goes back multiple seasons, then it would be even less. This illegal TPE should not be regression proof.
This is bizarre and petty. I am rarely critical of Head Office but I can't see a single positive that results from this. I am stunned that someone spent hours combing through old PT posts to retroactively remove TPE from those cheaters who submitted predictions at 7:52 pm instead of 7:45 pm. Why not just tighten up the deadline in the future if late submissions is a perceived problem rather than a taking TPE from people who put in the effort to earn TPE, got it approved by the team in charge of TPE, and then applied it to their players? This is a huge and completely unnecessary overreach of power by Head Office.
Was it a predictions thing?

Also why is someone who has only been PT head recently taking the blame for something that has been happening an apparent 10+ seasons. Seems like an unfair punishment and honestly poor punishment to both the players and Kya

Wait so like, the thread is left open and people went through and did the work to earn TPE, yet the league decides to retroactively punish them for... doing a PT that was still open when they did it? Seems kind of backwards.
There's dead-ass no reasonable way to argue why players should be punished for this. If I read this right this is a point task being done slightly late. There are no standing reasons that a point task is time-limited beyond only wanting one open at a time. If it is open an hour late, who even cares? Creating leniency and making it easier to keep up with the week-to-week earning isn't a bad thing and taking away TPE is the most useless dedication of resources I've seen. |
