Attention common folk of the International Simulation Football League Community:
Tired of not being heard as an individual amongst the masses? Downtrodden and downcast at the prospect of yet another Rules Summit that doesn’t represent your ideas as a member of this league? Frustrated at being but a single wave tossed about an ocean of aristocracy, with a tide seemingly always pulling against you? Well, worry no more!
We here at the People’s Republic of Colorado accept you for who you are, and value your ideas as an individual, here, in our simulation football league. To that extent, we’d like to extend to you the opportunity to utilize one of our Rules Summit proposals this coming offseason. Long have we heard the cries of under representation, and this offseason we’re hoping to change that.
To be considered for entry as one of Colorado’s rule summit proposals, please complete the following steps:
1) Have an idea, or something resembling one.
2) Write a media piece outlining your rule proposal and what it would help/accomplish/fix in this league. A suggested format for such a proposal would be: Stating the problem, giving some background on why it’s an issue, and then offering up your rule proposal and why it is the solution to the stated problem. Submissions do not need to be long in length, but should at least cover these 3 topics. (Also, you’re submitting it as media so you get paid for having an opinion…. How often does that happen?)
3) Once you’ve drafted up your rule proposal media piece, be sure to tag both myself and Schwarznarr in it. This will be how we know it’s an actual submission, and not just for the memes.
4) ???
5) Profit
The deadline for submissions will officially be midnight on May 9th. The People’s Republic of Colorado will then sort through the submissions and select a winner. However, we also guarantee that all submissions not selected will be compiled in a Google Word doc and provided to the ISFL GM’s rule discussion Discord, so that even if your idea is not selected it will be made available to all GMs to be considered for their own proposals. By doing this, we hope to see greater representation of ideas across the league, for the betterment of the league as a whole.
Members of the league, unite!
Graders, don't pay me for this, thanks!
