After 703 days, or 16,872 hours, or 1,012,320 minutes, or 60,739,200 seconds… Saba Donut is finally retiring. It’s finally time to head off into the sunset, and what a wild ride it's been.
When I first created back towards the end of S15 I never imagined I would make it this far, nor that I would have the fantastic career that I’ve had. I’m extremely fortunate to have been a part of the Outlaws and the Pythons, which clearly are the greatest teams in each of their respective leagues (obviously no bias whatsoever).
Statistically speaking, Saba Donut had a much better career than what I expected. Finishing top 10 in all time receiving touchdowns, holding all the receiving records for the Outlaws, and having finished with 6x pro bowl and 1x wroty. Obviously none of that could’ve been possible without the help of the elite GMs of Arizona and the great teams they built.
[Quick Stats Plug:]
Receiving: 624 Receptions | 10,302 Receiving Yards | 77 Receiving Touchdowns | Rec Avg - 16.510
Returning: 268 KR | 6,814 KR Return Yards | 3 KR Touchdowns | KR Avg - 25.425
I would like to thank everyone I’ve had the pleasure of being in a lr with in Portland or Arizona. Extra credit to the Python GMs who picked me up at #4 overall (Numbers and Sanchez) and later gave me the opportunity to be the GM . Also, thanks so much to Swag for picking me up in the S17 draft and letting me be a part of the Outlaws. Additionally, a big thank you goes out to the entire S17 class who made joining the league that much more fun (best draft class of all time 100%). Finally, although I didn’t mention many people I would like to thank anyone who had a part in the career of Saba Donut for making it as fun and enjoyable as it was.
Donut time is finally over…… at least for now.
